Automatically opens files from a selected folder and converts them into brush's for use with GIMP

works with the following file types

.jpg
.bmp
.xcf
.png
.gif

this script has been tested using windows and im not sure it will work with linux as i dont have linux installed.

But, can you put .abr convertion in there somehow? That's photoshop's brushes and being able to batch convert them withough actualy having photoshop would be like ..i don't know heaven :nod:

click on the icon marked "Download to desktop" this will do one of two things either allow you to save the script or open up the script using something such as notepad if it opens the script you will need to save it using .scm as the file type

You rock my world! I got it to work for me! I had a bit of trouble getting it to work, but now I am soooo happy with it. Is there any way to make it work for renaming a folder of brushes? The reason I ask is because sometimes The Brushes don't have names. Thanks so much for this script. :worship:

could you please provide more information about when the error happened, what OS your using and include the exact error message, the only thing i can think of at the moment is that you selected a file type that wasn't contained in the folder or you typed in the folder name and typed it in incorrectly
