If you are wondering "mardy" is a Yorkshire term so people who are really morose and moody and a "mardy-arse" is somebody whose nature is grim and sullen

(as in, "Tha's a reet mardy-arse")

... and I've come across quite a few of them in dA! :nod:

Somehow I wonder just what the response was...

I've run into some of these -- they get on my nerves, especially the ones with brilliant art and therefore fifty bazillion pageviews without contributing to the community at all. >.<

They seem like unpleasant people. I dislike Mardy-arses, when I'm looking for a new person to watch and I watch them and they don't respond at all I feel kinda rejected. I tend to ignore them afterwards, but not unwatch them, I think unwatching is cruel if it's just out of spite. Cleaning up your watch list is another story though XD *wipes off all the dead accounts*
