Engineered Dire Wolf Mount

Created for Conceptart.org's Conceptart Cohesion activity, the Creature part of which was to assemble an artificially engineered predatory creature to be used as a mount, using genetic material from current and extinct animals. Will be used for close-quarters fighting. I based mine on a dire wolf to help get the size needed to be a mount, chose a canine in the first place for its loyalty and ability to be trained, and went for the snake tail...because I was afraid of being disqualified if I didn't have at least two obvious animal sources in my piece. = ( I like the wolf tail version better. Still, the snake tail can be used to constrict around captives and drag them back to home base or something. Anyway, it also has to have mechanical components, hence the mechanical claws replacing the front paws.

Definitely the best piece I've created for CoW so far, but certainly open to criticism to help make the next one even better.
