After the longest possible delay, I finally obtained the DVD of one of my favourite animated movies: The Last Unicorn. I admit it was difficult walking out of the store with it, because most people would associate a title like that with something like My Little Pony. But The Last Unicorn sits alongside Flight of Dragons as a fantasy classic, and I'm dead excited about the live-action remake that's currently on the drawing board (with Christopher Lee resuming his role as King Haggard!) So after watching the flick, I couldn't resist tossing this wee strip together for a cheap larf. I'm pretty chuffed with how it turned out. I think it captures the style of the movie pretty well, so I might make another attempt with it in future. Enjoy. ^_^
Ah, I remember that movie from back in the day (specifically, that nutty skelaton. That thing was cool). Very nice job, It's nigh impossible to tell the difference between your pic and the movie.

I saw this most recently, just about a year ago, so the movie is pretty fresh in my mind! I can't obsess over it, like a lot of people seem to, but I still liked it a lot, and I'm pretty excited about a live-action remake. This is news to me; that's awesome!
As for your art, it's still got your style, but you emulated the feel of the animation very closely--and considering it's not all new and pristine looking, I'm really impressed! I take it the backgrounds are ripped from the movie, but your characters blend in well, so it's all good. As for the joke--? Let's just say, I naturally read comics from right-to-left...so the punchline was kind of lost on meXD
First off, everyone here at deviantART would like to say THANK YOU!!! We have received an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm for the launch of version 6 and believe that this has been our best-received launch to date.
You might even be one hell of a profesional, but if you don't SHOW it and PROVE it, how will everyone know? These facts are important not only when you are looking for a job, but in any situation when you wish to showcase your work. I decided to share a few guidelines that might help you give the best of yourself and help you be a better profesional.

Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

Me: I don't think you'd sell many things like that...
