The mushrooms on the tree make me happy. The lighting gives it a nice feel. The reflection of the paw in the water is a great touch.
I really like this piece. And the fact that it is just random gift art for an awesome guy is just another notch in the level of Nashoba coolness.

Wow! Just wow! This is amazing. I really love the details you added! The grass look very well done as the trees do aswell! I like the shading! The lights coming through the forest make the whole pic a little more dreamy; Looks like a warm spring-morning :3 The water reflections are a great idea. I always forget that water reflects something, so it comes out so bad when I try to draw it xD The wolf's anatomy looks perfect: The proportions are very well drawn! And, omg, did I mention this awesome furtexture? Great job on it! The whole picture is just like omfg!
