I was designing some lame 2-D logo including twirl with no particular success. Then small lightbulb lit above my head; "Why not use this as terrain then?" I thought. So after gaussian blur I exported it to World machine where I just added some erosion to it. In Terragen I did some twiddling with atmosphere. I wanted to have exactly that kind of sky, so I'm very happy. Inspiration drained from one of my fav movies Vanilla Sky. Then really wide angle shot and that was it for TG. Circle closes back in PS CS as usual for some adjustments, sharpening etc.
