My nephew is a huge Harry Potter fan, so last Christmas my dad & I made him his own magic wand, complete with storage case. We wanted it to look like something from Mr. Ollivander's wand shop :)

Materials: cedar, eucalyptus, brass, foam, paper, glue, paint

The case is made from cedar, and is lined with plastic foam covered in handmade paper to make a 'bed' for the wand. I'm not sure what kind of wood the wand is made from, we used a found piece from another project.

Approximate dimensions: L 20" x W 2 1/2" x H 1 3/4"

that is so pretty and awesome :D what a cool gift to get. Though personaly i'd rather have a death eater wand... cape... well general be a death eater :D much more fun YAAAHHH DESTRUCTION!! BOOM!!... am good on the outside with a chocolaty evil center!! :D

Apparently, they thought that it was from a Harry Potter store at first! :giggle: I think he did like it, but this kid is so polite it's always hard to tell for sure! ;)
