He calls out to me
A silent cry through the wind
He is my siren

In night's sky he falls
A downpour of wings and dreams
The breeze catches him

Like a black lace glove
Laid out as a web to catch
The ones who may fall

But still he persists
In singing the haunting song
That has caught my mind

Arias of charm
Lovingly styled to allure
Even the ones who

Hide their bewitchment
His beauty is my whirlwind
And he remains mine

The first verse came to me one utterly deadly Biology class in tenth grade, and was submitted as 'Siren'. I liked it, but it was a verse. Nothing much. The rest spurted out as babble today, because I am on a poetry binge. Enjoy (:
