The gradient one looks long but it's very simple. If you're an advanced user, this is what it says: Gradient Fill layer, orange to transparent, blend: Vivid Light or Colour Dodge :)

i love how u do everything so professional brother, i wouldnt even know how to make the things faded at the bottom like u have there the photoshop windows how they fade looks awesome, its the equivelent to a mask in flash, u own photoshop!!

haha thankyou. Yes it's just like a mask in Flash. It's still called a 'mask' in photoshop actually. i Just do that so i can cram more stuff in there :P

thankyou :) I try to write them so that even someone very new to Photoshop can understand them. But to do that, i always write more so it seems like the technique is more complex than it really is :( But hopefully it's clear... maybe. I mean, that gradient technique could probably be done in under 20 mouse-clicks :o

i think the way you write them is perfect. not too dumbed down that it makes people who understand photoshop crazy to get to the good stuff, and not too concise that it leaves people with less experience dumbfounded. you strike a good balance, and always present it in such a professional looking package.
