I like this, for reasons I cannot quite define. ;P

It's just got a sort of realness to it, rather than looking like a set up shot.

I like it. I think maybe I'd be more inclined to crop the sink out though. If you crop it just above your ear, the colours of the composition are simpler.
That's just my 3 cents though.

I understand what you're saying, and good photographers always say don't be afraid to crop crop crop - get it as simple and understated as possible. However, the basin isn't just a prop here, it's an Actor in the image, along with the mirror, the tiles, the Wall with the Rediculous Paint Job, and myself! I think it also adds context. Imagining it without the basin, there'd just be a mirror and some tiles, and it was a hassle to frame the shot to INCLUDE the basin as well as myself.

Thanks, though :) I like constructive criticism. I just have to learn to defend my art a little less. Hehe.
