this is my half of an art trade with
i kinda jumped at the idea of drawing her character DeSeriax because of the egyptian ties but i actually got stumped by the background because i wanted to do something egyptian. but the longer i thought abut it the more ideas popped into my head about the background-less DeSeriax and before i knew i had an overwhelming selection but no background to match any. at first i was thinking drawing De-seriax being like an elegant pharoah like persona rich in egyptian-ness , then the idea popped into my head about to something a bit darker something like "Return of the Mummy" becasue she is kinda like a guardian of egyptian treasures then ideas started trickling in about making her look like a playful kitten. but still the background just stumped me i almost did no background out of frustration but that seemed a bit lacking so instead of trying to fit a background around DeSeriax i fitted DeSeriax into a simple egyptian background and voi-ola i have something absolutely nothing like what i orginally envisioned.

oh i hope Kata likes i kinda changed the costume a little but i left the collar and i gave black dreadlock type hair becasue it seemed more egytian than blond.
oh oh i tried mixing the sky with the DA background colour to hopefully have a cool trasparency effect. i think it only works in full view becasue you dont get the shadow.
