From the ghost town of Ballarat, California....
It was one of those photos that the title just jumped into my head before I even pressed the shutter. This scene was kind of surreal for me, standing there looking at these old remnants superimposed into my field of view...a reflection of two unique generations, yet both sharing the common quality of being from the past. Well, what can I say, it felt kind of sad and romantic.
EXCELLENT !!!!
i love this kind of scenery ... i always try to imagine what happened to these old forgotten things ... a real legend !!
Beautiful picture !!! of course !!
an excellent picture for new year as it's the symbol of time passing so fast ....
btw Hapy new year !!
Beautiful scene. Gorgeous detail. Stunning colors.
Yeah, I know how you can already "see" the picture before you shoot it, I really like those moments. The big question/surprise is always if it will turn out as good as you've "seen" it.
A perfect viewpoint. I like how one can see through the windows of the car. The sky, the mountains and the plants all help to lead the eye to the subject.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but it uses up three thousand times the memory.
