Dragon Age Character Profiles. Set Two.Warden - Atanier SuranaDragon Age Character Profiles. Set Two.3 weeks ago in Scraps
Memories of childhood among disdainful, racist humans still branded deep into his mind, this elf firmly believes that his magic gift is a perfect way to strike fear into the hearts of the shemlen. Having always felt imprisoned in the Circle, he was ecstatic to leave and reluctant to return - nevertheless, he remembered the good times along with the bad and did not allow the Knight Commander to call for the Right of Annulment during Uldred's uprising.
Arrogant and very conscious of the impression he makes, Atanier is always eager to test his limits in magic, often seeking trouble just for the sake of showing off his skill in battle. He is also very vain when it comes to his appearance, and has somehow managed to get tattoos on his face (maybe by sneaking out of the tower, like he often did, or tried to, accompanied by his faithful sidekick Jowan) in order to conceal an ugly old scar, left over from the time when a brutish village blacksmith pressed a red-h
Dragon Age Character Profiles. Set One.Warden - Nella AmellDragon Age Character Profiles. Set One.3 weeks ago in Scraps
Her real name is Ariana; but since her childhood, she has been known as Nella, which is a short form of the ridiculous name she thought up for herself, in that age when lonely kids crown themselves kings and queens of non-existent realms and make imaginary friends. The full name is Valerianella, which, me being a reference maniac, is the Latin term for the rapunzel plant - chosen for obvious reasons. I also headcanon her as having very long, light-brown hair, to complete the fairy-tale reference.
Nella is a spirit healer, taking the chant about magic serving man, but not ruling over him, very seriously. A devout Andrastian, she has always been convinced that the Maker has granted mages special powers so that they might make a difference in the world and change it for the better. However, her noble ideals, for the most part, stay inside her head - for she is very shy and often lacks confidence in herself; at the very beginning of her adventures as a Warden, s
Dragon Age Character Profiles. Set Five.Warden - Thraer AeducanDragon Age Character Profiles. Set Five.3 weeks ago in Scraps
A scholar with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of his world's lore, and a constant desire to acquire more knowledge, this dwarf is calm, courteous and reserved, very meticulous about any research he does into any subject. Quite naturally, it was only to appease his noble house that this bookish recluse accepted the post of military commander offered to him by his father. But even despite his un-Baruk-Khazad-ey personality, he still managed to become the most popular of the three Aeducan siblings, thanks to his ability to settle arguments (in terms of gameplay, a lot of precious experience points went into upgrading his Persuasion perks, and just as back at home, he found himself capable of sitting down just about every warring faction at the negotiations table, even the elves and the werewolves).
His brother's betrayal came as a great shock to Thraer - and in order to escape from painful memories, he withdrew even further into his studies, deriving much
Dragon Age Character Profiles. Set Three.Warden - Relas MaharielDragon Age Character Profiles. Set Three.3 weeks ago in Scraps
This rugged, scarred, dreadlocked Dalish warrior is taciturn and single-minded; and back when he was adventuring across Ferelden, he cared for little apart from stopping the Blight, seeing his mission as Grey Warden as the price he had to pay for his surviving the darkspawn plague while his friend Tamlen did not... Which kind of made him best buddies with Sten, an achievement I remember taking great pride in.
Back when living with his clan, Relas took all the lore and traditions very seriously - and this still shows in his actions. But even though his Dalish pride has never waned, as he made his long, eventful journey in the company of ever so many shemlen, he gradually grew more tolerant towards the human race, seeing that even among these seemingly treacherous beings one might find honour and courage and strong kinship.
In the end, he warmed up towards Alistair, even growing to call him lethallin - and showed understanding towards Loghain, allowi
