Climbing Over the 'Good Enough' Wall
Have you ever found yourself saying something like: "I'm psyched to do this thing! But, ah, first I need to study/ practice/ work on/ a number of things..." Maybe you've said something close to: "I wanna do this, but I'm gonna wait until I'm good enough first" It's usually followed up by a long, long period of working on the things you think need fixing first before working on the actual thing. I think we've all been there(or are still there) at some point. It's a block that I've seen a lot of potential creators fall into that I like to call the "Good Enough" Wall.
-Contantly shifting deadlines
-Drawn, Redrawn and re-redrawn concepts
-Feeling like you're lacking too much in one area or another to be ready to start
-Lots of writing and rewriting of the script/premise/ etc.
