The Greedy TPPCongress recently grilled big pharmaceutical company execs yet went ahead and snuck the TPP through that will give big pharma even more of a strangle hold on prescription drugs prices. It is fascinating how there has been no media coverage about the TPP almost from day one other than when Hillary Clinton said she did not support it.
The TPP is mired in secret negotiations involving big corporations leaving out a voice for consumers and small businesses. Even worse is how there have been reports of

Let's face it, people can say anything they want about themselves online. They're a brain surgeon, a model, or even a pro-hockey player (that one was rather comical). Studies have already proven that both men and women lie about different things on their profile. Women tend to lie about their weight and men tend to lie about their height and salary.
Men have complained to me time and time again that when they finally met a woman they had been chatting with online, she turned out to be at least 50 lbs heavier than she stated on her profile. Women counter that they hope a guy likes them enough after getting to know them online that their looks/weight won't matter to a guy. Sadly, it's not the weight that bothers a guy so much as the lying about it!
Some people don't even use their own pictures! What a fantastic way to start a relationship!! Nothing builds love and trust like lying.
People lie about whether they're even single, if they have ki

I've noticed a lot of anti-Trump propaganda around the web, not as much as they did for Bush but along the same spirit of mindless hatred. I'm not saying I'm for Trump, I was in fact favoring Cruz until he sacrificed his faith to seek political favor. But given the polls from the past compared to now, I can tell Obama has had a great deal to do with Trump's current popularity, despite Liberal media's best efforts of character assassination. I think his supporters just want someone to balance the budget at this point and defend the homeland. It still matters to some, but not all..no one wants to think of the worse possible scenario, that the multi trillion dollar tab we are running up will eventually be closed and they will come to collect...US! That is, unless the law abiding citizens are disarmed and the gangs crossing our borders who are being armed with automatics (Operation: Fast and Furious) destroy it before it can be collected by China, turning our country into a post-apocalypti

A book that I absolutely loved was Eragon. I loved the story behind the dragons. The creativity and the plot was outstanding to me. As for the series, I own all the books, I just never got around to reading all of them. I should though...
A book I did not like was Twilight. I gave it a chance, I really did. I read up to chapter 14 of the book and I simply put the book down for good. The plot was boring and bland to me. I didn't find the story interesting, and for that I had no reason to continue to waste my time with that book.
How to write horrorStep 1: create your characterHow to write horror3 days ago in Articles & Interviews
Keep in mind that this person should be relatable in a large way to the audience who's going to be viewing your story. Try not to keep their actions exaggerated, but don't make them too plain either. Give them a few things they enjoy and a back story that's believable. It doesn't matter if your story has supernatural elements or not, you don't make the character too strange.
Step 2: isolate them
You can either do this by placing your protagonist in a rural area, or make them feel very alone some how moving to a new place is one way to do this, or they could simply be bad at talking to people. It could also be that they find a tradition involving the horror element of your story strange and object to it. No one likes to see a movie where the person has 100 ways to be safe but ignores all of them. Once again, keep it realistic. Some common examples are getting sick, getting better, moving for your job/taking care of a family member.
Step 3: introduce your ho

When we hear of expeditions seeking lost cities, we think of the Spanish and Portuguese conquistadores’s [sic] 16th-century dream of El Dorado. But another such expedition set forth into Brazil’s little-known Mato Grasso on April 20, 1925. It was led by Lt. Col. Percy Fawcett, an archeologist, geographer, and adventurer whose dreams of discovery were no less vivid and alluring than those of the conquistadores. They led him, his son Jack, and their companion Raleigh Rimell to an unknown fate in a forbidding land.
Fawcett had served in Great Britain’s Indian Army in Ceylon at the turn of the century, spending his free time searching for ancient tombs and treasures. Going to South America, he spent the years 1906 to 1909 surveying “a long and excessively unhealthy sector of the Brazilian-Bolivian frontier.” At the end of that period he carefull

When did you get into the FMA fandom (year & month, if you can remember)?
Gosh…2008 maybe? It’s been a while.
On a scale of 1 to 5, how active are you in the FMA fandom (1 being that you only occasionally produce fan works (fanart, fanfiction, RPing, etc.), and 5 being that you contribute to the fandom in these ways on a practically-daily basis)?
At the moment probably a 1 or maybe a 2 since I’m on an FMA kick.
Which version(s) of FMA have you watched/read? If you’ve gone through a version once, please put an X beside the title. If you’ve gone through a version multiple times, please put an X for every time you’ve watched through that version. If you’ve started a version but haven’t finished it, please put a /.

We kind of understand that animals feel. Really? i thought i was a big animal lover once... all though my level of ignorance was just... I'm ashamed. Don't be like that.
I knew very well what people are doing to animals... you can watch it on YouTube all day, for gods sake. Every time when for some reason i found myself watching a footage of animal cruelty or visiting the circus, i just covered my eyes and thought - HUMANS ARE MONSTERS *sob sob sob*
Pathetic of me. latter on i got back to eating meat (all though i knew how and why) but, hey! I watched few seconds of animal cruelty and felt sorry, there is nothing i can do about it, so fuck it! I want meet! Its nutritious! ...what a load of bullshit. "To know and not to do is not to know."
I didn't know a thing. AND, I myself had tree hamsters at that time, in cages... before that, i kept rats (i still think they

This place. This very place you that's a patapon's paradise, isn't Earth end. Their quest hasn't ended yet.
Let me explain.
First off lets look over the Tip card from Patapons 1 and 2
In Patapon 1:
All Patapons know of the great legend:
"Set thine eyes upon IT at Earthend, and thou shalt be granted eternal contentment."
The Legend states that it contains something or someone called/named IT, and whoever gazes upon IT will be granted eternal happiness.
In Patapon 2:
According to Patapon legend,
"Those who travel to Earthend and gaze upon "IT" will know true happiness."
That is what is said.
The Legend states something similar.
Now we are not sure if Hatapon, Ton, Chin, and Kan, are experiencing Happiness in that paradise. The only thing we get is "is this Earthend?" and "Sweet vibrations". That does

Life as a Princess
Welcome back to the show. It's time for more news. Just when I thought everything was going fine, there had to be some tragic news to plague us as usual. Why are you doing this to me, guys? Anyway, that's enough about my arrogance. Let's get started!
In World News
There was a 6.4-magnitude earthquake in Taiwan earlier today. At least 3 people were killed, with an additional 150 hospitalized. On top of that, at least 221 people have been rescued so far, with many more still trapped in debris. It's unfortunate, and the United States is probably going to send some emergency funds to them, like they do for every country. I mean, it'd suck if Taiwan was the only country who didn't receive any help from us.
In Media News
Do you use Twitter? I don't. I probably should. Anyway, Twitter has stated that it has suspended over 125,000 accounts that were related to terr

Getting Started Making GamesYou know how some people quit smoking just about every week? Well, I start making games almost as often: or I did before I found Twine. I’ve lost track of how many different “make a game with no coding” packages I’ve installed, tried, and given up on over the years. I’ve also lost track of how many Python for Beginners lessons I’ve got through, which is a large part of the reason why I haven’t gone back to Python for Beginners. If I’d stuck with any one of these things, I’d probably have a handful of decent, non-text games under my belt by now, but instead I pretty much just hopped over to a new one every week.Getting Started Making Games3 days ago in Articles & Interviews

It is always instructive, it is always enlightening, it is sometimes literally scintillating to turn to the pages of God and see what it has to say and how relevantly it speaks to our time and to our lives. Romans 1:18, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness."
This section is about the wrath of God. Admittedly not a popular subject, certainly not a popular subject in the world and not even a popular subject in the church. But an absolutely critical and central subject to any understanding of the gospel, the wrath of God.
Now there are a number of different aspects to the wrath of God. There is what we could call eternal wrath because it is the punishment that God brings upon unbelieving sinners forever in hell...that's eternal wrath. And the Bible speaks often of that. There is also eschatological wrath, that is the wrath of God that is released at the end of the world described by some

When we are released from our flesh bodies, we no longer have the Holy Spirit as our restraint and our true selves are unleashed...why would he want someone full of sin and hatred near his little children? That wouldnt be fair to the ones who overcame the evil one! His children join him, in a place created for people like the evil one.

30 Day Challenge: What tattoos you haveWhat tattoos you have and if they have meaning.30 Day Challenge: What tattoos you have3 days ago in Articles & Interviews
I only have one tattoo. I want more, and already have the ideas, but unfortunately my funds don't allow it.
The tattoo that I have is something I drew. All I wanted for my 18th birthday was a tattoo. It is a tribal style tattoo that is on my right hip. They're two black dragons with purple accents in the shape of a heart. The meaning to me is simply it is a part of my heart and who I am. I drew the piece, I am proud of it. Not too many people have their own art on their skin for the rest of their life.
Even though it doesn't ask, I also have a couple piercings, no big whoop behind that though. I have my earlobes pierced once. On my right ear I have an industrial, and hopefully in the very near future on my left ear I'll have a vertical industrial (I simply haven't made it to the piercer yet).

The oddities assembled in this chapter are so regarded because they bring one scientific method of dating into conflict with another. And not just methods of dating; each method carries an enormous baggage of dependent ideas and descriptions, which are sometimes rather roughly jostled and shoved together but which constitute, for better or worse, a generally accepted picture of how things have come to be as they are.
For example, the science of geology has established a more or less comprehensive account of the earth’s evolution, distinguishing kinds of periods of rock formation and the time scales appropriate to them. Industrial and technological archeology has performed a similar service for the history of man’s technical ingenuity, and paleontology and zoology have done the same thing for classes of animals. All these systems work reasonably well and, in fact, some

Sirius, the primary star in the constellation Canis Majoris, is the brightest in earth’s sky. Known as the Dog Star, it has long figured into human cosmology and myth. In 1836, German astronomer Friedrich Bessel discovered that something tugging at Sirius caused an imperceptible wobble in the star’s orbit. Apparently, the Dog Star was circled by a fainter star every fifty years.
The unseen companion, labeled Sirius B, was not viewed until 1862, when an American telescope-maker named Alvan Clark saw it through his 18.5-inch refractor, then the world’s most powerful telescope. More than half a century later, astronomers at California’s Mountain Wilson Observatory established that Sirius B was a new type of super-dense star they called a white dwarf: a stellar leftover that had collapsed into a ball of highly compressed material.
But the most puzzling aspect

So, I looked up this term because I have never heard it before, and if anyone else doesn't know what it is--it's discrimination against someone because of their age. Which is total shit.
Someone's age does not matter, it is their character and maturity that defines them. For example, my boyfriend is a lot older than me. But with my maturity being considerably high for a 20 year old, him and I are best friends, and we get along so very well. Your age does not define you, if you're a senior citizen, then you're above age 65 (or whatever, I am not too sure) That doesn't mean you're not tech savvy, you're mean, you're rich, etc.

I guess I could just say that someone who I love and admire is my brother, Josh. Growing up, he was like my father figure. He was always there and he looked out for me. Despite his own demons, he always helped me overcome mine first. I confided everything to him. I'm so proud to call my brother a solider, a husband, a father, and my best friend. His strength and his courage is envious. And for that, he fascinates me.
