God knew she needed it. Papa Joe had arranged for Cyn to have a little holiday after her recent adventures on his behalf, and she was definitely planning to make the most of it.
That doctor, Alessia, was being well-compensated to look after Yayo- Cyn still felt a bit guilty about that, but at least she was sure that Alessia wasn’t going to fuck her over for money or convenience. It was… weird… to have a hero as a friend.
Frankly, Cyn didn’t quite believe it, no matter how true it obviously was, but, hey- that the Hell, right?
Cyn shifted, trying to make her shattered knee comfortable. The eyepatch had finally come off, and the doctor predicted she’d recover most of her vision. Not all, unfortunately. It would probably be for the best if she avoided letting anyone else press their thumb into her eyeball.
Fuck. She really, really wanted to do something painful and permanent to Ramirez and his goons, but he was of

The medical bay was in tatters, tools were either missing or strewed about the place, the furniture was little more than kindling at this point, and all of it was drenched in blood- a lot more than could possibly be in a human body. Most of the lights were flickering, throwing deep shadows across the walls and shrouding the room in darkness. A large message looked like it was carved into the wall: “LET THE GAMES BEGIN.”
Marco crossed his arms and shook his head. “I don’t know, I don’t care, and I sure as hell do not want any part of it.”
Claudius glanced around. “Hey, don’t we have a Medic? Anyone check his room?”
Bon walked into the room and shrugged, shaking her head. Tyler laughed. “So lemme get this straight, the medical bay is in tatters, blood is freaking everywhere, and we don’t know where the Medic

Ratakh had, in his childhood, trained himself of remaining awake through the astral sphere: something similar to lucid dreaming, but referred to as "the awoken spirit" - a means which he could rely on to stand guard during the night. He thought of his companion and his song,
Y’tuwai’s sleep was not without dreams; dreams of the ‘avatar’ and the tall tales told by this ancient tree. He dreamed of the day of Hu’ans - of an age where, supposedly, people of long before the chaos that now ensued, people would reside at that time.
Ratakh himself was taller than Y'tuwai - at least from a physical standpoin - though he lacked the muscular build and skin tone - an aftershock of mental capacity raised at the price of physical stamina thought Ratakh - His complexion was rather frail compared to that of Y’tuwai. He could hardly hold a sword e
WorldsWar: Savagery (pt. 1)The huge cargo plane shuddered again, sending Tam stumbling across the cargo bay and into one of the huge crates. She clung to the canvas straps that covered the box to try and keep her feet. Meanwhile, her Derrigan friend Ketyan dispatched one of the Black Moon troops with his huge, ugly broadsword, leaving a bloody gash. Ketyan ripped a grenade pin off the soldier’s chest and kicked the limp body towards his comrades.WorldsWar: Savagery (pt. 1)1 day ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“Yeek!” Tam shouted, her white bangs falling over her eyes as she stubled on the rocking surface. “Ketyan! Don’t blow up the plane!”
“Why not?” The hugely muscled Derrigan asked.
“Because we’re ON the plane!” Tam shouted back.
“Oh. Right.” Ketyan turned his attention back to his enemies just in time for a big PMC Juggernaut with a minigun to force him behind the same crate Tam was clinging to. The fur on Tam’s fluffy tail stood on end as she too dodged behi
On Dust Bunnies and Caffeine - Part OneIt started on a Monday. Joel didn’t know this, though. He wasn’t really the type to watch news on Mondays. So he was spared the start of it, at least on the first day.
On Tuesday, he reluctantly drug himself out of bed long enough to go to work.
All his coworkers- mostly college-aged students like him trying to fill their pockets, where abuzz with the rumors and gossip over the News.
“Joel, have ya’ seen what’s happened!” One of the new girls he didn’t know the name of flittered in front of him, all gold and shining angles. Joel just shrugged.
“Ain’t got a clue, really,” he said.
“Ah, well,” The golden-angle girl flipped her hair and grinned a grin with too many teeth, “It’s all over the news, sweetie! Ya’ know that old gas station over on Hickory Road? A meteor crashed into that dump, and now there’s suits

"So how is the Fleet coming along?" Niko asked as he disrobes and head into the crim

Chapter 3 WARNING: This story has references of sexual relations and explicit details. Read at your own risk!Chapter 3 2 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
I tried to make this story as friendly as I could (meaning that I tried to omit as many details as possible, but this story still expresses the sexual feelings between two consenting adults). I felt that if I didn’t include such information that the story would be lacking in emotional turmoil. This story describes Lisanna and Thanos’ relationship a bit further and why Thanos had to leave Lisanna. It also contains the hatred and distrust Lisanna’s aunt has for Thanos and how Lisanna is disowned by her aunt.
As I said again, read at your own risk.
He tainted her.
To him it didn’t matter whether or not they both consented to the pleasurable activity. Lisanna was more than willing to go through with it, after all, she was the one who initiated the contact. The woman had wanted him more than he could ever imagine. It was obvious considering how
Experiment 261 Chapter 5: Recording the ResultsJana felt safer inside the APC, but she still trembled slightly knowing that there was a near riot outside. She had little time to think about that though, as she soon found herself inside the prisoner holding area. The small cage like cell was on the side of the APC, and a kind of bench was built into the vehicle’s side opposite the cell. The officer had removed the muzzle from Jana’s head before she locked her inside the cell. She ordered Jana to turn around and put her hands near the small rectangular hatch in the cell’s door. Jana complied and smiled faintly when the handcuffs she had been placed in were removed. She rubbed her wrists once they were off.Experiment 261 Chapter 5: Recording the Results2 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Trisha sat down on the bench opposite the cell that Jana was in and got out her notebook and a pen from one of her larger pouches on her utility belt. It was another simple day for Martian, as he jogged on the barren road in the middle of nowhere, the sun shining brightly above him with crystal clear skies, with little to none clouds. Martian was a average built man, with black hair topping his head and brown eyes hidden behind a pair of crimson shades. Plugged into his ears were buds that blasted music into his mind, distracting him from the road ahead or his destination; a simple one story house that stood on the right of the road, painted white with a light brown roof. A pool could easily be seen behind the house, and a small garage that sat behind the building with a dirt road leading to its entrance. Martian jogged a bit further, stopped at his mailbox and bend over to catch his breath, then rose to check his pulse and his watch wrapped around his left wrist, while a black and yellow band was wrapped around his right. After a few seconds he sighed loudly, stretched his back and headed towards th

The day came and went, and before he knew it Wednesday had arrived, and he knew what that meant; no school for him. Yep, unlike during his freshmen year he only had school two days a week, and in his spare time he would either be out and about on the town, drawing up new concept art, working on school projects, or at the gym. It felt good to not have to attend every day, and with the day looking rather nice it seemed he would be able to work in peace. Still, before he even thought about touching his sketch book there was one thing he needed to do first.
Well it was that time of week again, time to try and lose that gut of his. It was only eight thirty in the morning so there the building was mostly empty as he approached the door with his I.D tag. Anytime Fitness, the gym where anyone could go at anytime, as the name implied. Yeah it was a pretty nice place to go, especially when he was stressed out, but today he was there to burn himself up. With a warm jacket wrapped a

Her fingers wrapped around a gum eraser, the spring she unwound from her notebook during the last party her parents dragged her to, and half a dozen styluses before finally tracing the hard edge of the battery pack. Thank goddess! She tore the pack open and switched out the fresh batteries for the ones that had died in her headphones. Just in time, too. How can anyone call that “music”?
Her tablet screen was fading. It needed fresh batteries, too. Well, a good charge, at any rate. Travis dug through her bag, even though she knew exactly where she left her charger that morning. Guess I’ll be picking up a new one on the way into work. If this party was anything like the other ones her parents had dragged her to, her poor charg

Upon climbing the small slope, I can already see the control panels of the small transporter. On each side of me, I see comfortable looking seats wedged against the wall, which look like nobody ever sat on them. Straight ahead from me, I see the control panel, where Nym is already eagerly explaining the various controls to the guy from Engineering, who doesn't look too pleased about getting a lecture from Nym, but still listens attentively.
After noticing that everyone is aboard, Nym pushes one of the buttons and the hatch behind me closes, before the guy from Engineering can even react.
The young man, probably some 14 years old now, shouts, "Hey, what did I tell you about touching anything?! You're our prisoner now or have you already..."
I interrupt him sharply, "I'd much rather consider her as 'our' guest. If you have a problem, I don't think we have any problem leaving this flying coffin again and leave you to your precious by yourself.

“Oh… hey Drali!” said Weasel cheerfully, despite the coughing fits that followed.
“Did you just drive a Lich into Rome?”
“Um…” Weasel moved to look out the window, spying the Tiber River in the distance and how it snaked its way towards Saint Peter’s Basilica. “Yes?”
Across the room Mari moaned. Drali rushed to her side and rolled her onto her back, satisfied to see her breathing.
“Dovah?” she asked drowsily.
“Mari it’s me!” said Drali.
“Mari?” asked Weasel, running over.
Mari opened her eyes and saw Drali and Weasel looking down. “Fuck portals man.”
Drali breathed a sigh of relief and Weasel chuckled. “So it was you who sent me here?”
“Maybe; the Greybeards taught me a shout and said it was the only way to find the other Shifter, some portals appeared and led me here. I followed a Lich that came through.
