Searching for Stars - 1Her Imperial Highness Ashmyn Tantennin I stood alone on the deck of her ship.Searching for Stars - 149 minutes ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
She was cold, reserved. Unapproachable.
The sun armor she wore glowed a dull white, the intricate symbols carved into the metal seeming to twist and turn.
Long, braided brown locks wove around her head in a bun.
Everything about her seemed to twist, her features and clothing and hair.
People said this was a shocking thing about her Highness, that she might look happy one moment and terribly sad the next. Most of the time, however, her face seemed set in a stony, relaxed expression.
Her fingers drummed on the control panel.
They were on a course to the hub planet Xeen, to meet an ambassador from...where was it? That small system in the middle of nowhere. Earth. They wished to negotiate a new agreement with Insurgo about their boundaries.
Her bright blue eyes stared into the void. Insurgo was hers, but she’d never wanted to be its Queen.
A tap on the door, and a
Prolog (mala aktualizacja)1 hour ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Ulrich stood, folded arms. Watching. Waiting. Instruction had been provided, and now it was up to the fledgling. He had picked the target himself: a man about her age, walking alone, intoxicated. The ploy was simple enough. Her car had stalled in the rain, and she needed help. The man might not know how to fix it himself, but Ulrich was certain he’d extend assistance just the same. She had an innocent, helpless look about her that called to some baser instinct. Ileana had picked well in bringing Shelby into the fold.
He watched as the man extended his umbrella when the girl approached, shielding her from pelting rain, and smiled. Already a good sign.
Hazard lights flashed in the distance, providing a measure of reality to the fledgling's story. Shelby had distanced herself from it in the interest of this man, who s

Chapter 005 - Living Specters
Part 003 - Hell’s New Meaning
Both Rogue and Emily stare in disbelief at the mess that they’ve made. They now question the ethic and humanity of The Hunters, due to their forcefulness and threats to kill if their subjects did not immediately comply. They both had no choice, so they did. And now they regret every second of the test, though they are worried that they will be retested. Rogue senses Emily’s other worry: draclings. What if that occurs? Only time will be able to tell the two.
Each are carted, after many a minute of observance, away and into a separate room, similar in description to the one that Jaken was placed into before.
With their worries high and overpowering, they have to calm down for the surgeons to even begin, or so it is thought. However, that is not the case this time. The Hunters take no time rigging Emily to her operating bed, strapping her down and gagging her so that she i

It’s still dark out (I mean really dark) when Janusz shakes me awake and tells me I’m “gonna wanna see this.” I ask what “this” is, certain that whatever it is it couldn’t possibly be more interesting to me right now than going back to sleep, and he tells me he’s going to shoot Gina and Nadira’s morning sparring session. That gets me up; after years of hearing about the Isani penchant for fighting, I suppose I’d be a fool to pass up the chance to see it first-hand.
They’ve already begun by the time we arrive at the wide, circular sparring platform. A scattering of spectators ring the combatants, but Gina and Nadira take no notice as they circle each other, both looking for an opening to strike. Every now and then someone shouts encouragement, some rooting for Gina, some for Nadira.
Then Nadira moves, closing the gap in an instant, and then they’re in blurring motion, attacking each other with

Colton waited patiently until the Laquanians had finished looking for Eve and had slumped back down in their seats staring at half eaten plates of scrambled eggs before he cleared his throat and spoke. "Eve went under the door and outside." He mumbled, cheeks reddening. There was an uncomfortable silence. And then, David snapped up from his chair, causing the table to shudder.
"You let her escape?!" he shouted incredulously. Colton whimpered under his breath and clapped his hands over his stinging ears at the booming tone.
"I... Master..." His throat caught on every word he tried to get out. Please don't hurt me... please please please plea-
"David!" Ben yelled, scooping Colton up into his hands and cradling his shivering form to his chest. Colton stuck his head in amongst the folds of his owner's t shirt in fright. "Colton did the right thing. It was obvious that Eve didn't want to be her

I enter my TARDIS from saving a city from destruction and the alarm goes off. “Huh? What is it this time?” I asked. I check the monitor to see what is causing the alarm to trip, but all I see is a distress call. Before I could prepare the TARDIS takes off and I grab my sonic screwdriver. Moments later the TARDIS lands in a field. I use the scanner to see what is outside, and I see a human attacking a green dragon. I grab my sword and I run out knocking the human down with my fist. “Leave the dragon alone u ungrateful human!” I shouted as the human stands up. “How dare u side with that beast!” the human replied in an insulting tone of voice. I growl and hiss at the human as I prepare to strike.

(Flashback) A close-up of a robotic hand, holding up a small hologram-emitter. The emitter shows a sleek Cybertronian vehicle. In the background, we can see the day-to-day goings on of a street on Cybertron.
Euramis (OS): Would you quit looking at that. You’re gonna wear the thing out.
Veer (OS): I can’t help it -- it’s beautiful!
(Flashback) An angle from in front of Veer and Euramis (in G1-scale bodies) as they walk through a Cybertronian street. Veer is smiling broadly as he continues to look at the emitter, which now shows a robot body design. Euramis has a look of great trepidation on his face.
Euramis: Maybe they can dial down your vanity while you’re in there.
Veer: And maybe they can dial up your courage. I’ve never seen you so pale.

Listening to his words, Red took a moment before responding. She was calm as she spoke though one of her ears twitched a bit.
Red: “Thank you for inviting me.”
Interviewer: “I admit, I wasn’t sure you could pencil me in given...well, rumor has it you’ve been busy recently.”
Red: “Busy? Yes, indeed the badlands of Caligula are full of danger, but also much wonder.”
The interviewer smirked, actively enjoying her talk. He eventually remember what he was there to do, leading him to clear his throat and bring up a journal.
Interviewer: “So I’ve heard. Can’t say I have been there personally. In fact, I admit I'm going by word of mouth, so I was wondering if you could star

To think that she’d laughed at Sally’s panicked statements that she was transforming into a dog at night. To be fair, it had all sounded entirely ridiculous—until Chloe herself had begun to transform. Even now, she was sure there were white hairs among her dark black locks.
The thought was enough to send shivers up and down her spine, and Chloe rapped at the door again. “Hello?” She called out, fingering the pink dog collar she kept around her neck. While she normally wore it as a fashion statement; today it was surprisingly appropriate.
“Come on, Sally…” Chloe tapped her foot idly before giving into her temptation; finally using her backup key to open the door. “Is anyone home? Sally?”

Da'un clambered over boulders and gravel of the densely forested ravine. The five year old looked back frequently with a wicked smile, clutching the stolen spear in both hands tightly, to be sure she wasn't being followed. Eventually she found a tall patch of grass and hid in it, crouched down to conceal herself.
Da'un was tall and strong for her age. Her eyes were a piercing ruby red and her dark skin was piebalded, covered in many symmetrical patches of white skin and having something of a white forelock. This combined with her many tattoos, gave t

Mikee faced Matt in the school stadium as Serena stood as his Second, looking as if she was regretting this decision. The World Champion was picking a fight with him, so they had no choice but to fight. Everyone was eager to see the fight as Mikee took his defensive stance, sweat dropping from the side of his face. Matt removed his cape as he tossed it to Alice who took it. "I'll end this in a minute. You have an entire minute to show me what having a Second does for you." Matt told the younger brother as he didn't have any stance at all. Instead, he beckoned Mikee to come as this seemed to tick Mikee off.
"Fine, I'll show you what I can do!" Mikee yelled as his fists shone brightly. Serena wanted to tell him to wait, but the fighter's brash attitude got the better of him. He dashed towards the World Champion and swung his fists, but it seemed like an instant that he moved out of the way. His fists were still flying, but the World Champion was d

When Meredith stepped out from the bathroom, her skin looked radiant. Her hair, now wet from the lavish shampoo, glowed golden, yet her graying roots were just starting to show through.
"Anthony," she faced him, where he sat on the bed, taking off his socks. "I'm going to need a lot of help."
"With what?" he became distracted by her naked body, which, even as it was gaunt rather than athletic as earlier, held this certain appeal to him. He realized how much he really had missed her, when seeing her now.
"With finding myself again. So much is lost, and then I don't talk about flesh and muscles, figures on a scale. I look in your bathroom mirror, seeing a ghost. It's not me, it's someone else. An old lady."
"Old? You're 35!"
"Yes, and, uh, going on 60!" In return, she got the famous smirk of his, the one, that she never thought, she would see again.
"That's not true."
"It feels like it. I feel old, dearest one. Derelict. Wasted. The year I spent with the cult, feels so much longer

Sky looked up and sighed in relief as he saw Ty and Jason come running up to him.
"What the hell just happened?!" Jason asked.
Sky shrugged uncertainly.
"You broke it."
Sky turned as he heard Bodil's voice, expecting the god to be talking to him. But as he faced the other way, he saw that Bodil was looking straight at the boy who'd randomly joined them.
Said boy looked rather nervous as Bodil strode towards him, eyes narrowed. "How did you get in there?"
"I-I don't know-"
"You must know. I didn't put you there, so you must have put yourself there."
"I... I guess it was an accident..."

Death had awoken in the form of his childhood self surrounded by acres upon acres of rolling tundra beneath a pale grey sky. So peaceful, he thought and he smiled. But then the wurms came, an assortment of human bodies knotted together by thick leech like worms, bursting from the ground in a spray of ice and mud.
"Father! Father!!" he screamed, only to be drowned out by the guttural howls of the wurms.
"I'm sorry son" cried a distorted voice.
Death was about to turn when something slammed into his back. He looked down in shock to find a crossbow bolt protruding from his stomach. But this was no ordinary crossbow bolt. The shaft opened in three to reveal rows and rows of sharp teeth. Barbed tendrils burst out and sank themselves in his flesh.
"Why?" Death cried.
A figure pushed the wurms aside and Death saw the smiling face of his father.
"Because I am full
