I was walking around… I don’t know where I am. My class from school were instructed to go fetch something from… Where? We just thought this was the right area. Somehow everyone ended up going in different directions. I was lost… Somewhere.
“Where is everyone!?!”
I yelled out somewhat urgently.
Still no one here.
“H-hello?” I heard a male voice call out from somewhere.
It was someone else in my class. I’m pretty sure his name was Cactus, or something like that. I have to admit… He does look kind of attractive…
But it’s sad that he gets made fun of. Why? Because his eyes are a kind of dark red. But he did have about 2 friends. A girl called Sunflower and another guy called P.mine. Strange name, but I won’t judge.
I rushed over to the way I heard the voice coming from. I tripped over a rock in the process.
“Cactus, Help! I tripped!”

You walked into school on Monday ready for the stresses of Prom week. Everyone was always rushing around for a last minute date, dress, tux, or excuse not to go. Luckily, your date had already asked you and your dress was sitting in your closet at home. But just because you were prepared didn't mean you weren't going to be stressed. You knew well and good that everyone would be coming to you with their problems, and you were too nice to say no. That being said, you were a little shocked when you walked to your locker to find that it was already open, and someone was hiding behind the door.
You strolled up and tapped the intruder on the shoulder. Kairi let out a little squeal, then whipped her head around to see who had disturbed her.
"Oh, (Y/n)! It's just you..." Kairi settled back into position, seemingly watching someone.
"Well it is my locker," you mentioned, but she was already entranced in her prey. You peeked around your locker, too, trying to find what was so interesting.

You blinked, looking at him with a confused expression. “A-are you joking?” You clumsily asked, only to receive a shake of the head as a response. His hand gripped yours as another set of eyes watched at a distance. “Come on, it’ll be fun.” Although a bit hesitant, you nodded.
EARLIER THAT SAME DAY:
“Lily Lily Burning Night!” You tiredly pressed the off button on your alarm, chuckling to yourself when you remembered your new sensei adding it onto your phone.
“Ne, ne! (Y/n)-chan! Let me see your phone! I’m going to put something cool in it!”
“Here~! I downloaded my album on your phone! It’s free for my adorable student~!”
You rolled out of bed, half asleep as you did things without thought, bumping into your desk as you trudged to the bathroom. You slammed your bedroom door s

Ashley sat on the sofa next to Chelle and discussed her options. She needed a legal guardian, and Chelle had been insisting that ideally they should find her an adoptive family as soon as possible, but Ashley knew it was a hopeless case. She had tried to explain to her that no one would want to adopt her, but Chelle’s optimism and obvious affection for her, as much as Ashley usually loved it, was blinding her to the near-impossibility of that plan.
Finally she blurted out in frustration, “Chelle, people don’t adopt teenagers! They just don’t! They adopt babies, not people my age, just about to leave the house and go to college anyway! Who in their right mind would do that? I mean, think about it from your own perspective. Hypothetically, would you adopt me?”
Jake walked into the room at that point and must have heard the last few words of their conversation, and his face was suddenly as white as a sheet. He looked shocked, horrified

“...Would you adopt me?”
Jake froze in horror at her overheard words. He stood motionless in the doorway, a brown paper bag crumpling in his fist, staring at her as she paused in her conversation with his mother to look at him. He blanched, feeling all the blood drain from his face, and his stomach dropped at the sound of Ashley’s question.
She wants my mom to adopt her? She wants to be my sister? How is this possible?! After everything that happened last night...did I completely misinterpret the whole evening? Did I misinterpret every minute we’ve spent together? This can’t happen! God, please, don’t let this happen! I can’t be in love with my sister!
“No!” He breathed, then turned and fled from the room, ignoring her calling after him. Legs feeling like rubber, he managed to climb the stairs to his room and collapsed onto his chair, his face in his hands. He wanted to scream, to puke, to cry, to

They slowly made their way to the car, the silence between them now far more awkward than it had been while they were dancing. Good job, he thought, way to go. Everything was going so well, and then you had to lose your temper. That Jade, though, even thinking about what she said makes me mad. And again with the ‘no I’m not her boyfriend’ line. Might as well have it tattooed on my forehead. Brilliant. It began to rain, not in a light drizzle but with the occasional splat of a large solitary raindrop on the back of the neck. Getting his keys out of his pocket and unlocking the door with the fob while they were still a short distance away, he suddenly saw her stop short, and only then did he notice their unwelcome visitor.
“Hey cuz, that’s a great look for you.” Bryce said with a smirk, taking in Ashley’s fancy dress.

Maybe there’s a reason why girls go stupid over prom night, she thought to herself. They sat at a table near the corner of the dance floor and were having a wonderful time. She had been blown away by his dancing, especially since most of it she had taught him herself the night before, and was somewhat curious if he had practiced or even learned a few more moves on his own between last night and tonight. He was a natural, and even when he was goofing off he looked great. Most of it, she realized, was in his face. He was clearly having just as much fun as she was, and that made everything he did look even better, even his ridiculous fake club-dancing. He was easily the most attractive guy here, at least in her opinion, and she couldn’t believe that her dream had actually come true.
The next song was a slow one, and a look came over Jake’s face. After a beat he stood up and walked over to her chair. Extending his hand, he asked, “Danc

Yo me

I kept on running until I couldn’t see the school behind you anymore. I didn’t mean to run away from them but I couldn’t live in there. I mean, I didn’t want your parents to get a phone call from the school saying that I got eaten by a monster on the first day of school. I even forgot my backpack and other stuff, I didn’t care. I went in further and further into the forest until you were lost.
“Well this is bad…. Dammit!” I kicked the ground in frustration. I thought I’d just keep walking until I’d fine the bus stop to go home and tell my folks the news. I can just make up some sappy story on why I don’t want to go back. You tried to not over think things, but your mind is like ‘Too bad, they were all nice to me and I just blew them off!’ I stopped walking and second think things a bit. These twins sure were interesting. They both looked the same but their voices were slightly different.
The door to the homeroom suddenly opened and everyone went to sit down. Cherry and Bomb sat away from each other. It was a middle sized classroom. About normal size for ‘Normal’ people.
The only seat I saw was next to the twin called ‘Cherry’. I sat next to him.
“Hey Y/N…” Said Cherry “I’m sorry for making you feel uncomfortable” I was shocked at what he said.
“It’s okay” I replied calmly with a warm smile. I saw his cheeks go slightly red.
The teacher looked… Interesting. She was a deathly pale colour with a white dress, Maybe ghost inspired? Her eyes were white with no colour at all. Her hair was a forest green that was slightly curly. Along with that she had a Purple bow in her hair. Maybe a ghost, Possibly?

Kael ran underground, sloshing through the sewage. He'd fallen several times. But each time, he would get up. At one point, he looked up at the grates in the tunnel's roof. Dim light streamed down from these light sources. Kael knew they were the only entrances to the world above. It was the entrance to his old home and what used to be of the firefox kingdom. However, he didn't want to climb up one of the ladders. He knew the devils had taken over the firefox kingdom. The place that made him feel safe was no longer there for him anymore. So he kept going.
He was a very weak little boy. Being kidnapped and tortured was something he was quite used to. But he was never tortured as cruelly surprisingly - especially for a mythical treasure. Kael wondered how the devils even knew of that story. The firefox sighed, but it ended in a smile. The only reason he had the will to keep trudging through the disgusting tunnels was to see his mother. It was a relie

Water streamed from his bangs and ran down his face, dripping off the roof of each eyelid. His dark shirt sucked in against his thin torso, and his jeans were soaked. Both white shoes squished over the swampy grass.
The rain had come all at once, not even beginning in a light drizzle. It poured over Capewood in buckets and was already causing rising waters. The Capewood River was coming into sight.
Isao slowly crossed the slippery road and entered his yard.
In the mere blink of his existing life, he had learned a lot about life. He'd done this by setting boundaries and barriers to many things so that not only his eyes, but his mind, could see more clearly. He'd learned the patterns of life and found the main unit that connected them all. The randomness of someone dropping a pencil. The chance that the clack would startle or be ignored by you. It was dawn, and the first ray of sunlight streaked its way through the window of a small log house to Isao's room. It glistened over his silky black hair and glided along his sky-blue comforter. His soft face was relaxed as it rested, sunken slightly into his pudgy pillow with one of his delicate hands comforted by his nose. It had been about eight hours since he first closed his blue eyes. He'd made sure that sleep was the first thing he got when he returned from Soichiro's, for he didn't want to think of the confession he'd made to himself that night. It was complex, yet no more confusing. His emotions were coming out, and he had to make the decision of accepting them or not.

Isao came into the gymnasium and was immediately blindsided by the crazy flashing lights in the dark room. It was already beginning to give him a headache, and all the people made him anxious.
"Excuse me." Isao was poked in the arm, and he looked down to see a very perky red-head sitting at a decorated desk. "Are there two of you?"
Isao drew a blank at first but then realized there was a girl waiting right behind him, "…Uh, no."
"Well, alright," she smiled. The lady held out an empty palm, "Admission's three fifty."
He brought up his jacket and fished out the exact change.
He left her and cautiously came onto the dance floor. He had come precisely at nine o' clock in high hopes that the crowd wouldn't be too much, and he could gradually get used to it, but it looked as though already ninety percent of the school had arrived.
"Isao!" The cheerful cry sounded as though it had come from a large circle format

Why on earth did he kiss Soichiro like that? On the night of the incident, Isao had felt the most light-headed he had ever felt. Now, as the next day set, his head was heavy with confusion and worry. How was he going to explain why he'd done it? The annoying explanation was the only truth; Isao had no idea as to why he kissed him. It had happened so naturally, so suddenly, that he couldn't stop himself.

Soichiro's vision was blurred as he ran down the black paved road. His arms and legs weak, his head dizzy with extreme shock and confusion. He stumbled in a rush to the enormous brick house and pounded repetitively on its door. Soichiro was breathing short, quick, hard breaths that attacked his lungs. He had never been so lost in his life.
When the door didn't immediately open, Soichiro barged in and flung the door shut behind. He sighed in relief and then hurried into the large and nearly empty den. "Takahiro!" he cried. "Takahiro, WHERE ARE YOU?!"
Loud thumps and possibly a crash came from upstairs, and Takahiro came flying around a corner at the top of the staircase. He saw Soichiro's face, "Soichiro!"
Soichiro watched as he quickly dashed down the steps and ran towards him.

He smiled and wrapped his brown jacket around him, "Should we go back to your house?"
Soichiro slipped his arms through the holes, "Hey, you just got your new house, right?"
Isao blinked as though he forgot, "Oh yeah, want to go there?"
He clapped excitedly, "Yes! I get to see the Isao cave! Where is it? Is it a mansion?!"

Soichiro grabbed him by the arm and yanked him forward, "Come on! Let's go, let's go!"

Isao had gone through the next day as he had been recently, waiting to meet Soichiro. The fact still bothered him that he was able to crack him. He made him feel odd, which Isao took as happiness. It was a strange emotion, but not as strange as the one coming. This emotion was so foreign, he didn't know how to act or what to do when it came up. Now it seemed to appear quite often, always being more of a surprise than the last. Going back to how he once was would be nearly impossible.
He sat out school with no changes. he received a total of three tests, got Cs, and made it average time to lunch. As he walked over to his usual empty table in the back under the busted light, he - once again - found himself thinking of Soichiro.
