Thank you for sticking with this story for the length that you have, but I am regrettably discontinuing the story from DeviantArt. This is not a permanent decision. The story will continue in the future. However, I have a lot going on and am quite busy.
I put a lot into the story and fully intend to finish it. It is terribly convoluted, however. For this reason, I will be doing massive revisions before I finish it. Once the story is completed, I will make it available either as an online read or a series of eBooks.
Over the next few months I will be removing the chapters from DA. Again, thank you for following the story. I will continue to update as to the revisions' progress

The Rocking Razors was an alternative nightclub in Bruckers's industrial district. At the moment, the sounds of "Arma-Goddamn-Motherfuckin-Geddon" blasted out of the club's speakers and caused the floor to reverberate slightly, but the many goths, punks, and emos in the club didn't seem to mind the noise as they continued conversing with each other. One goth, Vanissa, took in the new scenery from her barstool.
As soon as the song ended, Vanissa was approached by a man in a red leather vest who offered to buy her a drink or two. Normally, Vanissa would have rebuffed such advances from men she didn't know, but she let him buy her sodas.
They began chatting a while later and quickly hit it off in strides. In fact, in less than an hour, Vanissa felt intensely bonded to the man. She craved closeness, whether it be emotional, physical, or even sexual in nature. The lady behind the bar eventually had to tell her to either calm down or get out. The goth's ear-to-ear grin
