Malestrom~ PrologueOn July 8, 1952 a legend was born.Malestrom~ Prologue2 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
His family was wealthy, decedents of the Carnegie family of steel tycoons on the east coast. Roswell Miller paced back and fourth, twirling his rotor blades carefully as he listened to his wife's screams. His wife was named Margaret Carnegie Miller. She was the daughter of Carnegie himself. At nearly 60 years of age she was reaching her limit of childbearing. She probably shouldn't have become pregnant at all. Nevertheless, she carried on bravely through the labor until, a cry was heard.
A nurse came into the waiting room.
"You have a son Mr. Miller." She said.
Roswell gasped and raced in to find his wife resting on the bed, her tongue licking over the small form of a newborn.
Roswell already had two daughters but this was his first boy. This was the one who would eventually take over the family business.
The newborn was an Augusta, like him and when he opened his eyes, the father could see they were his wife's piercing bright blue.
Nearly There Nicely 66Once they were at Crow's doorstep, Crow stopped and turned to Will while holding up a hand. “Uh, be aware, the place might be... a little bit messy.” Confused, Will tilted his head to the side, his dark black locks framing around his face.Nearly There Nicely 663 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Crow forced a smile to him, turned and opened the door. Stepping in, Will saw that Crow hadn't exaggerated when he said 'messy'. Five-feet from the door, leaving just enough space for one to walk in the door and shut it, was a pile of blankets made into a cot. The small back-pillows from the sofa had been taken for the pile. Will's eyes traveled toward the sofa, which was messy, but looked clean. Going toward the kitchen, Will could see an array of dishes scattered about the floor, along with some pots looking like they had been repurposed as bowls.
Crow shut the door behind them, then started into the kitchen. “How'd you trash the place in just a few hours?! I didn't say you could trash my place! I have to live here,

Soon a flustered girl with a red bob appeared before me, her lips brimming with questions.
"Sakura? What the hell are you doing in my tree!?"
"Let me in."
"It's six in the morning, and you just decided you were gonna come sit in the tree outside my window?"
"No, genius. I snuck out."
"So that prevents you from coming to my front door like a normal person?"
"Claire! It's raining! Let me in!"
She crossed her arms.
"No. I swear; you're like an annoying stray cat that keeps yowling at my door!"
"....Alright. Get your wet ass inside."
"About damn time."
I crawled through the tiny window and stretched my limbs.
"Wow. You even stretch like a cat. Are you sure you're not part shapeshifter?"
"Pretty sure I'm a full-blooded outcast."
"Ah. Now I see what this is about. Did you and Maudi fight again?"
She handed me a towel.
"Yeah. She did the whole 'you're sneaky, but n
A Life Eternal~ Epilogue"Any more of that and you'll dig a hole to China!" Wisconsin said to Glomar as he past in front of her for the gazillion time. After what seemed like an eternity, a hospital ship appeared. "You may see her now." She said. "She's been asking for you." "Is she alright? Are the kids alright?!" Glomar cried. "She's fine, they're all fine. You have 3 kids." She replied. Glomar raced past her to find his mate.
Titanic looked exhausted as she lay on her side still. The three shiplings all eagerly suckled from her side. "Hello darling." Glomar greeted her with a kiss. She returned it. He gazed down lovingly at his three kids. "They're beautiful." He said. Two looked like Titanic, matching her previous White Star livery while

The only thing that kept her going was the prospect of seeing sunlight again. Ballard was careful to keep other curious ship out of the area as they gathered. By now the whole world knew what was going on here and the whole world was watching. Ballard enlisted the help of Gomar Explorer. Somewhere on the Human world, in a remote valley far from civilization, lay the Abraxas Research Facility. This facility was a government-run research center whose research ranged from medicine to weapons, and from space flight to theoretical physics. Each division was housed in a separate unit connected to the central office by tramways. The most remote of these units, the Zeta Labs, focused on long-range teleportation.
One of the scientists at the Zeta Labs was a 22 year old man named Talon who had joined the team about two months ago as an intern. When Talon first arrived, he figured that he would either be stuck behind a desk or performing mundane experiments. He was quite shocked when he found out that he would be working with a long-range teleportation device which he found out was usually referred to as the gateway. Such a thing had always seemed to be in the realm of science-fiction to Talon. Now, it was reality... and the salvati

“Cristella the decision is made; you are to go to Cypress Academy so You can learn a little respect and discipline!” My father shouted at me
“But I don’t want to.” I said in a whiney voice.
“Cristella, you have Shoplifted and have been an outright nuisance since you mother went missing!” he said, his face now a dark red.
“I said I was sorry.” I said in a quiet voice, crossing my arms.
“That doesn’t matter now. You are going to Cypress!” He said angrily. He was about to walk away when he spoke again, “You are leaving in the morning.”
“What?” I shouted, “Ugh,” I walked up to my room and began to pack. While throwing thing into my suitcases I was lowly cursing towards my Father. Then Xavier walked in.
Leaning on the door frame he spoke, “Hey, why so angry?”
I dropped the clothes that were in my hand and looked at him, “Because I have to
Snippet of The Blood Moon Series: Blood Mates The creaking of floorboards fills my ears, giving me that secretive and nerve wracking feeling you get when sneaking past your parent’s room in the middle of the night. But this is no childish escape-the-parents’ act; this is life or death, and I am caught in the midst of it. Hand on the wall, I step carefully in the hallowed darkness of the hallway. Shafts of light are easily recognizable, from the dust that swirls and dances in the brightness. It’s cold, but my sweatshirt hugs me warmly, giving me a certain sense of comfort.Snippet of The Blood Moon Series: Blood Mates7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

It was a cold night. An icy gale permeated the city’s many streets and alleyways. It was too uncomfortable to be out, and most everyone was snug in their homes… except for one.
A fragile girl staggered through the narrow alleys, clutching her ragged, half-destroyed raincoat desperately to herself to ward off the chill. Biting her chapped lips, she slowly stumbled into a corner, where the frigid winds were not quite so painful. There, she curled, tugging the coat around herself harder, like a blanket.
She was thin, painfully so, with a sickly pallor and a near constant shake (though that was possibly just due to the cold). She hugged her knees, closing her green eyes. Her hair was once a dark shade of brown, but now was matted and filthy, with raggedy strands sticking out all over, now looking like a mottled cross between light and dark colors. Around her hands were rags, stained in dried blood, forming makeshift bandages.
The girl let her mind wander. It had bee
The Last One PrologueMy eyes opened slowly. "What happened." I mumbled, my body shaking as if I'd suffered some kind of trauma. Even worse than I've suffered in the months leading up to this moment. You're probably thinking 'Why is he telling me this?' The answer is, I don't know why. I'll never know. I'll never know anything again. I looked around the room I was in. There were ivy and overgrowth across the room, as if it were...in ruins. Little did I know this was one of the most intact buildings I would see during the next few month's. Then I saw a note on the floor. This is what it read. 'You are the last one". To this day I have no idea what that phrase means. I'm not the last one. At least not to my knowledge. Now let me tell you who I am, and my story. The Last One Prologue8 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

I stumbled to a stop, then shivered. “Arceus…it’s c-cold!” Deatharrow landed by me. “Try using Pirhuis, or Inferniln.” “I….is th-there a d-d-difference?” “The latter will create a fire, the former will have you radiate heat. Use less emphasis to have a lesser effect.” I nodded, then whispered the word; “Pirhuis.” The temperature rose a few degrees, but the warmth faded almost instantly. Deatharrow chuckled slightly. “I guess it wasn’t such a great idea anyways. If we use too much, you’ll burn up your clothes, or yourself, or melt the ground below you.” “H-h-how…are y-you…not f-f-freezing?” “You know why. Out of everyone, except me, that is, you shoul
Bobbi's New Job: Chapter 96 - ReunitedBobbi was spending even more time at work than she usually would, partly to keep her mind of things and mainly because it was better than being lonely at home. The truth was, she admitted to herself, that she missed Sarah, but she was far too proud to give into Sarah's increasing attempts to get hold of her. As if on cue, her mobile buzzed with an incoming text message. Bobbi glanced at the screen. "New message – Sarah" it said. Aside from Sarah, Bobbi's other problem was Annie. Annie had taken a lot of convincing that what had befallen her in the restaurant had been an accident (as if it could be anything else?). The rubber foot of Bobbi's peg-leg walker device had landed squarely on the second and third toes of Annie's uncasted foot, bending them upwards and snapping the fragile bones. Annie's already casted foot had also been checked as a precaution. Much to Annie's annoyance, her bandag

Chandley’s shoulders relaxed. Nothing bad. Just the champagne. “So what? Two more hours ‘til midnight. The clock will strike without champagne just the same”

“An old Texan saying?” Chandley teased, chuckling.

It is possible to fall out of heaven.
It doesn’t happen often; in fact I have never known or heard of anyone falling back to earth in the time I have been here. That being said, I haven’t been here that long. There isn’t really much in the way of a concept of time. I can only pin point a date to each day if I catch a glimpse of a calendar somewhere on earth. Life on earth can be stolen in little, blissful moments. A reflection in a window, a change in the wind; a precious capsule of time when the film of life pierces through the shields of heaven.
There is no definitive god here, but maybe that is because when I was alive I never really thought there would be. There is however a ‘boss’ – a man in a black suit, with a wooden desk and towers of paper work. I soon realised he only looked so stereotypical because of my interpretation of a man in charge, hence the suit, and whoever may be waiting for me when I die, someone at a desk with a tonne of pap

He hugged her back with a blush on his face and thanked her. "Let's try it shall we?" said Reno, calling Rude's new cell. His cell went off with the *Magic - Rude* ringtone.
