Jade forest Chapter 4"So Fluffy what do you think were supposed to do while hunting for birds?" Storm inquired, she wanted to get a edge so that teaching him will be easy as it can be. " um.. climb up a tree?? and er.. catch it?" Fluffy said sheepishly. Storm giggles as they started to tread through the snow leaving paw prints, snow swirling slowing down twirling to the ground. "No not exactly" Storm stifles a giggle, 'he really doesn't know anything about' storm thought. "For a beginner like you it would be best for you not to use trees not only you have to do all the same on the ground you have to keep yourself balanced and knowing where you will land with out harm coming to yourself or destroying your prey" Storm explained. "So you will hunt on the ground for a birds trust me its much easier than from a tree, ok so first rules" Storm said calmly. "Ok" Fluffy said as he listened closely.Jade forest Chapter 412 minutes ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

It was pointed and really fucking unwelcome.
Before whoever dared attempt to wake her up got a chance to kick her with that damned boot again, Noth’s hand shot out from under her body, grabbing the offender’s ankle and yanking, hard. There was a satisfying smack as whoever it was made contact with the ground, and Noth allowed herself a small smile of contentment before twisting her head away from the sun, under the shadow of a large leaf.
“HEY! That hurt, Ruhtra!” the second-most unwelcome voice in the world screeched, rubbing her lower back. and sitting up with a glare that Noth didn’t notice. Noth gave a noncommittal grunt, purposely ignoring the chit.
“Fuck off, Keepsake.” Noth was too tired to bother even trying to be courteous. “Go do something else other than bother me. Shove your head in

I also didn't enjoy the way he worded that question, it was as if it wasn't entirely obvious already.
As if I was so feeble minded and poor at planning that I would just jump to another faction this time.
I wasn't some uneducated child who chose a faction because they adhered to my beliefs 'at the time,'
then abandoned them like a coward when things got rough. No, I stood by my faction to the bitter end,
I followed a path I believed in from a start. Political war isn't a game, if you're not smart - you're trash.

The opaque white smoke is taking some time to disperse, until a thin whirling tunnel of air reaches down from the sky above. The funnel spout drags the cloud up and away to reveal Teal and Zara standing as they had been, a short distance apart in the middle of the Rift Circle. Teal has dropped the faceplate of her helm, Zarah has her eyes covered with an arm and Scarfenstein is poking two corners up above her shoulders. Above them Kem has his hands throttling the air, his smile a slim curve.
Surrounding the two now are a large squad of Beast-men, twenty in all. The hirsute creatures stand or hunch or crouch in various stances, but their bone armor plates are translucent and half formed and below that their body-covering fur looks slick and bedraggled. The ground is covered in a thick layer of ooze like the wet slime of birth, as if the Beast-men all hatched fully formed but still weak from the fragmented orb which is turning to dust on the ground. Low growls can be heard from within th

The shout stopped the party and even interrupted the band as what appeared to be a highly ranked noble of the area voiced his displeasure at Roma’s appearance as one of the guests of honor. “I heard rumors about you, but I never suspected that a dark elf could have gone down the straight path. I figured you would be some dark skinned person from sunnier regions but turns out I was right. You can not be no hero, you people are nothing but cut throat killers and thugs!” The noble spat though he seemed to mellow his tone in his verbal assault once he had rallied attention to his cause. Though as the crowd muttered and murred about what do to, what to think with the man in this position, a loud but small voice stood up for the dark elf. “Perhaps it is you that is the fool, and she is the saint!” The voice was loud and broke over the storm of silence as the crowd wondered who has spoke and soon then they parted as Neiko, the littl

Kuma: …That guy must be…

Kuma: You did? …Well what does That mean?
Issun: …Hm? …Oh, no I just wanted to point it out. You look like your running after something, I just found it adorable.

Kuma: …Well this time… my dad followed the hooded man into the house…
Jessica: Sounds pretty threatening… What happened in there?
Kuma: … the hooded man led my dad to the basement… and the basement had a chest… A box that had this… blob thing inside… it was pitch-black, and it tried to latch onto my dad…
Dante: A pitch-black blob?
Hieldegard: Doesn’t sound that threatening..

Also, this scene isn't THAT different from the movie until the end… you'll have to read it to see what I mean. Originally there were two other versions besides this one, and I was going to have my editor decide which one she liked best, but those other two wouldn't cooperate AT ALL. So I just did this but switched the ending - and some minor things that aren't important to the plotline whatsoever.
Lastly, I worked really hard on this chapter, because I wanted to publish it on the 29th, which is not only my birthday, but also the one year anniversary of the day I uploaded this story last year. So… happy birthday to both it and me! And whomever else is reading this with a birthday that is coming up or has past!
There, that's all I'll say.

Nearly 24 hours after Agent was accidentally sent to another plane of existence, Daniel, the lead engineer of his current project, along with the help of his fellow colleagues, worked efficiently and diligently to have it completed by the next day under orders by Madison Rosethorn, Agent's partner and second in command. While Daniel didn't want to rush progress with his new invention, he knew if he didn't that Madison would have his ass if it wasn't complete by when she said. After about ten minutes, Daniel looks down and sees a couple of his helpers slacking off, making him stop working to get them back on track, "'Ey, whatdoya think you gettin' paid for here?!" He yelled while on top of the device, looking down at them. "If she were to see you two right now, she'd have a fit with the both of ya's." He then sees her walk in, making him get straight back to work. She looks up at him working and smirks some.

Who You Are - CH. 5: The Heat Nicholas' blood ran cold. He remained motionless andtried to control his breathing and the pounding of his heart. He stared up in silent horror at the creature above him. It was all black with blood red eyes, he wondered if its eyes gained that color from the blood of its victims. Black smoke wafted from its open mouth. A black thick liquid dripped from its fangs. The beast looked at him. As if judging him for something. It growled loudly, the sound was like a metallic screeching.Who You Are - CH. 5: The Heat7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Nicholas tried his hardest not to shriek in pain as his ears fought the bloodcurdling sound. The sound became too much and he let out a yelp of pain and put his hands over his ears. He groaned and the beast, seeing its opportunity, lashed out and sunk its metal teeth into Nicholas' arm. He felt heat, searing heat. It was excruciating yet he couldn't scream. His voice wouldn't escape his throat.
Tears welled in his eyes and finally he looked at his arm, he could see its f
Luce and the Forest Spirit It was late, and nobody was outside. Well, nobody except for a certain boy that had nothing better to do. Kicking some rocks out of his way (although they weren’t quite in his way to begin with) and glancing around from beyond his hood, Luce could see nothing that interested him. Sighing heavily, he found his way to the treehouse. The treehouse in question was one that he always went to when he felt lonely, or angry. Due to his lack of friends, he made this out of boredom. He spends hours and hours in this makeshift treehouse, and he was thankful nobody noticed. His parents were never really home, and when they were they acted as if he were never there, mostly on account of being busy with ‘adult matters’. He hated thinking about it, honestly. It’s gotten to a point where he just simply didn’t care.Luce and the Forest Spirit7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Now get ready to go. Its an hour journey up that cliff-face." Goldie threw him a staff like hers. "This is the only way you'll get up there without falling."
Nicholas sighed, 'why is she so mad about me wanting to find where I belong...?' He thought. But he got ready anyway and followed Aunt Goldie to the cliff by the barn.

Horatio wished he could say that violent knocking in the morning was a rare occurrence. Unfortunately, such disturbance was typical in the morgue, where Sir found pleasure in watching Horatio start at sudden noises. The monks in the monastery where Horatio had grown up had never been much kinder. Horatio obediently opened his eyes, miffed at the daylight that lazily filtered in through wax paper windows. He awoke to a meticulous room which contained two long, twin tables and shelves filled with jars and oddly shaped instruments that reflected the dull window light apathetically. There were a few coffin lids too that Sir had been finishing the day before, filling the room with the unmistakable smell of varnish. It was the beginning of another day in the morgue.

Getting back to the Omni was an easy matter with Jack leading the way. He took us down a path that steered away from Big Ursa as much as possible, as it was still likely that the patrons of the Sanders House wouldn’t be too happy to see us again. Naturally, he was mesmerized when he came upon the Omni itself, having never seen a vehicle like it before.
“It’s like somethin’ outta one of them science-fiction movies,” he said, looking it up and down.
“Why, thank you,” said Henry, proudly.
Jack packed in his luggage with the rest of it and clambered into the back, next to Fhey. I couldn’t help but notice that he looked a bit awkward, with his big hulking frame filling up nearly half of the back seat area, the top of his head just touching the ceiling, while Fhey took her usual place, pulling out her spellbook.
“How do you feel, Jack?” I asked.
“Pretty cozy,” said Jack. “Feels nice back here. Ah just ho

Gods are mysterious in their ways and complex in their actions when compared to those of the short-lived and ever swaying mortals. They think things, understand things, and perform feats that not even begin to fathom. However, there are those that think they have the willpower and confidence in succeeding in mirroring them. They fail almost every single time. To think they could be like beings who have been around since the dawn of time and are on another place of existence and capability is quite an amusing thought. Not even in their dreams can they come close to imaging the things they have seen, for not even the brilliant and enlightened can do so. Compared to them, they are but ignorant children trying to be like their parents. Admirable and understandable, but a pointless endeavor with how different they are from one another.
Whether light or dark, good or evil, chaotic or balanced, they are all above us in ways we cannot comprehend. To dare and try to think like on

“You have failed, little mortal. You are a false god, nothing compared to me!” a horrid and booming voice echoed within the total darkness. He could not see the source of it, but he knew it was there, watching and waiting. A rasping and loud bit of laughter cut through the air like a sharpened sword through butter off to his right. He spun towards it, thrusting his blade forwards into the dark. Bright light built up at the tip of his sword, shooting forwards to pierce the darkness that was threatening to overtake him.
The shadow did not retreat.
“Your greatest weapon no longer serves you. Your only faith and shield has been consumed, Gilorthor Harchon,” the voice continued in a sneering tone, this time off to his left. The only reason he could tell was that it sounded like it was whispering into his ear, taunting him and daring him to try and foolishly resist.
“Your light is expended. It. Is. Finished.”

"I see. Though, it looks like you were trying to eat it before catching it," the lioness mused.
"Ehhehe...I did have a difficult time catching it cleanly like you, Mama..."
"Well, with a bit more practice, you'll be as good as any hunter. Maybe even better."
"Hehe!" Mala beamed up at her mother. "Do you want me to put the mouse with the rest of our food?"
"Mm, well, that's for you to decide. You did hunt it after all."
"Okay!" Mala ran to put the mouse up with some of the leftover food from yesterday's hunt. Mala's mother managed to get lucky and caught a heavily injured wildebeest. It seemed like its injuries got the best of it which let the single lioness take it down with ease.
She smiled at her daughter when her ear twitched at a noise. She lifted her head up, looking in the direction the noise came from. The lioness could see figures coming in from
