Silentbreeze stared in horror as Shadedfang’s mutilated body was moved to a less “open” location.
Wrenflight was watching her with concern but she waved him off. She couldn’t let him realize what this really meant.
She had blood on her paws. How could this have happened?
Poppy lied to me
The she-cat needed to leave, however as she turned to go something blocked her path, pressing into her chest.
Cloverpaw stood very still, pressing his face into his mother, holding back tears.
The whole apprentice’s body shook, one of his hind legs wet.
“Cloverpaw what’s wrong?” the mother murmured, although she could already assume. The whole clan must have seen the body by now. It would be more surprising if he hadn’t seen anything.
The tom shook his head.
“Look . . go find your sister, or your father, i’m a little busy right now.” Silentbreeze held the panic from her voice as best as she could, but
Complimentary (NON-FANDOM): Prolouge Long ago, there was a nation, Cerengan. This nation was split into two religions, the Werna and the Kurang. The Werna believed in color and individuality, while the Kurang believed in the opposite. This war, referred to as the Atria War, went on for several agonizing years until strict borders were made. The Werna went into the left side of Cerengan, and Kurang on the right. No one could cross from one side to the other without special permission, as the Ana Border was heavily guarded by both sides.
Of course, that was over 500 years ago. Since then, tension only grew worse. Various threats by both sides were made, but none of them were carried out. After a while, tension was eased. Barely any threats were being made and everything was overall peaceful.
However, everything must come to an end. The peace ran out when two teenagers from Kurang wen

This world was a big place. Bigger than anything that Vagus the Totodile had ever known in his life. The fields seemed to go on forever, and the sky was so plain and vast that Vagus feared he would fall into it if he gazed up at it for too long. Such was a phobia developed when one spent their lifetime under the thick canopy of a jungle. Vagus had never seen the sky so clearly and never knew it was so vast. Then there was the silence, the sort of silence one hears when out in the middle of nowhere with nothing around to create any noise. The jungle was always full of noises, those that were familiar and those that seemed strange. Silence rarely ever came, and whenever it did, it was during the horrifying nights like the one that had claimed the lives of his parents.
Vagus looked around him while he and his brother, Mycaelis, walked the rolling plains. There was no road and the sheer emptiness around them made Vagus feel exposed and anxious. If he had proper claws, he would have dug him

A cool day, one with the softest of breezes to rustle my jacket and blow through my hair, the warm sun beginning to set in the distance to reveal the lights of the town in the distance. Everything nestled away into the sides of the mountains which seemed to stretch and reach for the sky or even space itself. I let out a content sigh and turned around to look at the rust gate behind me, beyond was a garden of eden, untouched by the foul touch of human kind as trees and vines gave way to reveal an opening to a large pond with plenty of small pokemon speckled throughout its reflective waters.
A small family of otter pokemon were playing, oblivious to the human that stood outside of the garden as the two large Floatzels cleaned their buizels, much to their discontent as they would try to avoid their parents touch. This did not last long before the sound of shrill cries filled the air, scattering some of the water pokemon that surrou

THE START OF BEING DIFFICULT
Since William, the cabin boy, was a nice sort, I let him pet me, and it was true I enjoyed every minute of it. Although I wasn't one to like the majority of human kids, I will say for the most part, their hands were much more gentle than adults. They weren't nearly as strong, and therefor, I could tolerate the touch without too much need to worry. I figured if Olympic let him pet her, she knew he was a good kid. She wouldn't put up with being hurt or vexed, I knew that.
After stroking down the port side of my bow one last time, William turned to give my mate a small petting, then said "Well, I'm to have my lunch now, but I'll be back again. You're leaving when next, Olympic?"
"If things go as planned, roughly at weeks' end."
"So soon??" I asked.

Ever since I met you in middle school, I knew we were going to be friends for a very long time. Since we started working at the park, I have felt so close to you, and I wanted nothing more than to be with you, either as friends or boyfriends. But last night when I told you about my secret feelings for you, I saw a side of you that I never thought I would ever see. You called me a "faggot" and "queer", two words I never thought would come out of your mouth. You hurt me more than any other bully I have ever dealt with. I thought you would always be my friend no matter what, but clearly I was wrong. I have no friends, family, or anyone who halfway gives a fuck about me. All anybody ever does is cut me down and abuse me, but you were the one person I could count on to make it okay. You were the only reason I never killed myself. Every time I was picked on or laughed at, I just imagined ending it all, but I didn't because I had you. But now I see no reason to continue living. Good

Redkit looked up at her father, beside her Silentkit, no, Silentpaw's eyes glimmered with satisfaction. The lucky furball had gotten the clan deputy as a mentor. Beside him sat Shatterpaw, their brother. He'd gotten Crookedfang for a mentor, Owleye always said Crookedfang had a thistle stuck somewhere but surely he wouldn't be mean towards his own apprentice. The thought of Owleye made Redkit wince, if only her mother were there for her apprentice ceremony. She'd died two moons ago of green-cough. Her father looked down on his kits with pride and called forth Redkit.
"Redkit, step forward." he purred. Redkit did so, her pelt pricking.
"Redkit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day forth, until you have received your warrior name, you shall be known as Redpaw. Your mentor shall be Owlscreech." Bloodstar flicked his gaze at the brown she cat, beckoning her
Longing: Part 1 Snippe (Vigilante Magician)The Vigilante Magician's great feats were known far and wide in Great Britain. From his epic appearance at the London Bridge and thwarting a group of vandals from desecrating the national icon by causing their spray paint cans to spew bubbles, to his appalling appearance to save the unsuspecting from getting mugged in the streets of Derby. And who could forget, his official dramatic debut in the courtyard of Buckingham Palace, where he thwarted a gang of unruly foreign tourists threatening to ruin a picture-perfect day at the fountain by making doves fly out of their pockets and send them off with a good pecking frenzy.Longing: Part 1 Snippe (Vigilante Magician)6 days ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Everyone screamed her name, but Asami swore she was the loudest one. The Red Lotus mechasuit, that Korra had attempted to hijack, erupted in flames in the night sky and went down in a ball of fire. It crashed several hundred meters away, not in a ball of fire, as they expected, but still causing a lot of damage.
"KORRA!" Asami screamed again.
"ASAMI, WAIT!" Chief Beifong said, holding her back with her metal cables. Republic City firefighters rushed into the scene, spraying the wreckage with as much water as they could. There was still the threat of the wreckage bursting into flame, but so far it didn't look like that was going to happen.
What may have been a few minutes felt like an agonizing four hours. The crowd that had gathered could only watch helplessly, and even Team Avatar—with Bolin being consoled by Opal and Mako working crowd control—were the most helpless out of all of them. Of course, the other Airbenders, Jinora incl

Thankfully, they knew all obstacles had more-or-less been cleared on their first journey through, so there was little worry of more ambushes or traps. The Temporal Travelers lagged towards the back while Team Mystic and Dragon Tamer kept a bit ahead, each taking turns to glance behind at the more injured explorers.PMDU Dungeon 1: Temporal Travelers - Part 101 week ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

A man fearfully ran through the dark halls.
Ruined our chance at life before we got one…
The atmosphere within the newly rebuilt attraction grew ominously colder as five small figured zipped after the fleeing man.
We were innocent… Why did you do this to us?
Cornered! Three tanks to his left, an old, broken down yellow rabbit animatronic suit with a sinister grin permanently plastered to it to his right.
You’ve lived your life. It’s our time for vengeance.
He turned around. Four figures-Ghostlike children-blocked the doors. The man suddenly jumped back, staring in horror at the fifth child, the one with permanent tears staining his cheeks, lunged for him.
We were almost happy in our new lives. But you took that from us, too.
His eyes drifted back to the suit as he ended up running to the other side of the room, all five pairs of eyes staring at him as he lunged for the suit, quickly getting into the broken

"They will be the death of you.", the stranger said slowly. I thought about what the stranger said for a few seconds. "Why do you think that?", I asked. "Isn't it obvious?", he asked simply. I watched as my friends played on. I turned back to the stranger and said simply, "So be it." "No", he said, "You don't understand. Your greatest ally will betray you. It's Fate - Part 3They had been walking for many moons by now, but it was by no sense of the word boring. They had passed many beautiful pockets of forest, and they were never without someone to talk to or something to do. It may have been tiring each day, but a fun challenge nonetheless. The only thing putting Fate on edge was the quietness of his people in regards to him. Often back home he would speak to many other cats and foxes for hours, however now it seemed they would rather not speak to him in the slightest. He shrugged it off as just them being tired or angry as he was making them walk long distances. But they often rested and stopped, and he took everyone's ideas into consideration at all times. He may of been stubborn, but not cruel. Watching everyone talk to each other and not him was disheartening, but he learned to live with it for the time being; there must be a good reason for everyones choices. It's Fate - Part 31 week ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

ROOTS openingIt has been a long while since I’ve seen someone’s broken down truck on their lawn, but I guess that stands as the unofficial welcome sign to Southern Ohio, because nothing says home more like rusted doublewides, recycled tractor tire garden beds, and a collection of broken down Chevys in the yard.ROOTS opening1 week ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Southern Ohio is a curious place. Mostly composed of suffering lower class, there are still few locations in each township or city that houses the richer members of the community, and a nearly non-existent middle-class lies somewhere between the two.
Upper class was mostly composed of doctors or high management positions in utility companies or factories. The poor were either supported by the government or worked part-time jobs in factories, fast food, or small shops.
Of course, there were also those wealthy citizens who operated legal drug outlets referred to as pill mills. They were really just the successful and dedicated business leaders of the drug world, which had gro

If there were ever a single human being that really deserved the title of superhero, then Theodore Roosevelt would probably be one of the leading candidates. No matter if you consider the man villain or hero, there is no denying the volume of experiences and accomplishments that Roosevelt managed to rack up in a single life time. Just a quick glance at a list of all that this man did, and how deeply he involved himself in every single endeavor, reads much like a work of fiction. It’s hard to imagine how any person could do so much in a single life time. There is little doubt that Roosevelt is far from the most tireless individual that has ever lived but, unlike many, Roosevelt understood something that Benjamin Franklin once remarked on. “It’s not just important to do hard work, other people have to see you doing it.”
No one ever accused Roosevelt of modesty but, unlike George Armstrong Custer, Theodore’s trumpet did not seem to

Aki couldn't find the courage to speak as he frantically looked for a way to escape. Without hesitation, he dashed over to the kitchen and darted into the pantry, closing the door behind him. He didn't lock it however, (he thought it would've been suspicious as it was not normally locked) and so he managed to conceal himself in the corner with his hood over his head. He hugged his knees as tight as he could, hoping he was small enough to be overlooked. The corner was on the same wall the door was l

Just hanging out as a couple. We were at the food court grabing a bite and chatting when this skinny purple haired girl suddenly comes to us and asks if we're interested in some "fun" with her. I must admit blushed violently and so did Sophie. Before any of us could answer the girl tells us we look "awesome" and almost begs for us to accept. With a seductive look on her face and a suggestive wink. Sophie just thanked her and said we were not interested and she walked away with a disappointed expression. Chapter Two - Arrival
I slowly maneuvered my car down the narrow dirt trail. All around me dead and blackened trees reached up for the moon with gnarled and twisted branches. The forest was silent. Dead silent. No bird cries or animals moving through the underbrush.
This silence was almost unnatural, and it filled me with excitement.
As I made my way along the trees began to thin and my radio, previously playing a smooth jazz piece, suddenly cut out into harsh static. I flicked it off and when I looked up again I found that the forest had stopped. Ahead lay a low brick wall and a rusted metal gate and beyond that was a gravel driveway overgrown with weeds that led to the mansion.
Grabbing the backpack containing my equipment, I turned off the car and approached the gate. It wasn't locked, but it screeched as though in pain when I pushed it open. I walked up the driveway, gravel crunching underfoot, and as I did so there was a low rumble of thunder in the distance.
