The leather I wore hardly protected me from the harsh wind, but I was used to it by now. I stood just outside of my house, my brother next to me. It was perfect. This whole idea of a fighting game to win money and fame....oh how much I could use that power. It was the first year of this whole ordeal, so this year's winner would be known as the very first victor. What a huge honor! I grinned, thinking of the fame I would have. Ever since the announcement 7 months ago, I've been training extra hard so I could easily win. It was only a matter of time before that title belonged to me. Pit Nagaslash, the first victor of the Chaos Games...It's going to be me.
As I walked to the line of other boys my age, I watched a ridiculously dressed seedrian girl walk onto the stage. Ugh, the brightness of her clothes made me want to rip my eyes out. The girl tapped the microphone a few times before clearing her throat.
"Hello everyone, and welcome to the reaping of the very first year of

Kat slumped further into her chair in the empty Medico waiting room, arms crossed. She had been frowning at the television up in the corner of the room for most of the night, waiting for Response Team Alpha to finish putting Orion back together.
Her Round Three victory had already felt incredibly hollow - both due to the fact that she felt she won it by luck, and because it triggered bad memories that refused to leave her alone. Tonight, however, just made her “win” seem like an outright punishment.
She was lucky Orion was still breathing by the time she had arrived at Medico hours earlier. After the last hint of Shar’s Gladium Circle faded from Kat’s senses back at the Armstronge Hotel, she had tried to scoop up Orion's body in order to carry him to Medico, but moving the cat only made him yell in pain. Luckily, Lita and Baqir had heard the chaos and arrived before Kat's panic coul
Dixie Persona So Dixie is my new persona. Since 13 developed into a charechter all her own. So will Dixie, in time. In fact she already is developing her own style. But that's okay. In Dixies case, it works for her. She's much like Deadpool in the case of being a fourth wall breaker. She's more than aware that she's a persona and often plays with it in her own way. So talking to her is a crapshoot. You may be talking to Dixie as the stand in for me, then she'll just add her own shit. There'll be one of these * when that happens though. I'm mostly doing this to work on good fourth wall breaks with a charecter though.Dixie Persona12 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

"When I was a little girl, Fukuro-bo told me a story about a prince. This prince was the ninth in line for the throne, and his brothers and sisters were always fighting over who would be next to rule. Schemes, assassinations, and all-out declarations of war, cost him four brothers and three sisters out of his twelve siblings. While this infighting broke out within the royal family, their father the King was preoccupied with increasing his territories throughout the world.
It was a dysfunctional family, where the last one standing would succeed the king, and there was no love among brothers and sisters. The prince of course, wanted to succeed the throne, but not to rule and become like his father, he wanted to be king in order to stop the fighting. He believed that he could change the way things were from the inside, where the problem lie."
Picadilly's eyes drifted from the glow of the ferris wheel to the girl sitting behind where he stood. "So then, then, mate?

One week before the race in Monaco
Sunday without the race – nowadays, it is strange for me. I am feeling weird when I am sitting in the father's home on his couch and looking at newspaper, which gazed at me from the table. Alex sets across from me in the chair. I threw newspaper with rage on table next to each other.
"They did you nothing." Alex told me calmly. I misrepresented eyes. "Why are you so angry?" He asked me.
"I'm not." I retorted him. He looked at me shrewdly.
"It doesn´t seem." He put the magazine on the armrest of the chair and looked at me, I crossed my arms over my chest. "You're angry of what has happened on the track?" I again rolled my eyes.
"Angry and nervous."

Just like that. From young and in love to seventeen and suicidal. From one-million to negative one-billion. My dad told me love was a firework and I was convinced we’d become an explosion. I thought that Ashton was Heaven. But love is not a firework and she is not Heaven. Or I am just a cigarette and maybe I am not good enough for Heaven. I didn’t realize it would hurt this bad. When she leaves the room for a few hours I try pretending it didn’t really happen. Ashton didn’t actually just break up with me. We were just kidding. It was just a joke. We always joke around with each other. It’s nothing different, right? Right? Right? Wrong? Wr

It was midday in the empires, although it could have been midnight in Shadow Empires forest where Nebula lay in slumber up one of her favourite trees. “We look forward to hearing from you soon, mister Mercer.” The manager lied, adjusting his annoying tie on his perfect suit.
“Yeah.” Darcy said, already stepping out of the office.
The secretary gave him a paltry “Good day,” never looking up from her computer. It was raining once again, and Darcy didn’t bring along an umbrella. He’d have to wait at the bus stop for at least twenty minutes in the pouring rain as it tried and failed to be on time.
Everyone at the bus stop tried to ignore each other as best as possible while waiting. Darcy was the only one without an umbrella and the bench below the tiny roof of the bus stop was already taken by a single person. He didn’t bother taking a seat. He knew that if he sat down, the person sitting there might talk to him, and he was already done with talking to people today.

The shock of being told about Canine DNA being found in Will's wife body sent shockwaves throughout my body as I just paced around my cottage, trying to hold back my tears for Will, the first man that I truly loved. Once I had pulled myself together, I left the cottage and made my way back to the car where I thought that Will would still be inside. I knew after that call that the police had made, Will was already becoming the creature that he was telling me about.
As I walked to the passenger side door, I could see that he was gone and was wondering where he could be. But, before I could start looking, I felt the presence of someone coming towards me. I turned around and gasped in shock to see Will was the one standing before me, looking very calm, cool and very collected.
"You scared me," I gasped, trying to get myself together. "You were right, the phone was ringing. It was that detective, Bridger from earlier today."
"And what did he say?" asked Wi

Somehow, I always seemed to attract feelings of animosity whenever I rode the bus. I'm not sure why. I suppose that's how it's been for most of my life. People seemed to be irritated by my presence. Maybe I just gave off this vibe, I wasn't sure. Or maybe this city just generally wasn't a good place to live, so everyone was always in a bad mood. Yeah, that must've been it. Chalking it all up to coincidence was the only logical conclusion. These thoughts continued to float around in my mind more and more often, as I slowly came closer to not believing that, myself.
I boarded the bus, slowly dragging my scrawny frame step-by-step to the last row on the right-hand side, where I had come to expect a usual residence. Empty again, as always. I dropped my bag in the seat next to me and stretched my arms, folding them behind my head. My eyes wavered to the world passing by outside my window, carefully ob

Ellie landed safely at the foot of a hill, the soil and the scant vegetation covered in a heavy frost- nearly a half kilometer from Point Borrow, Alaska. She cut the cords from her parachute and dropped the knapsack onto the ground, abandoning it hastily in some dead brush that ensnared a large rock along an old dirt road. Ellie's new arctic suit blended in with the landscape, she noticed. The thought that she looked like a government stooge just occurred to her, hoping that it wouldn't jeopardize the mission with locals.
An uneventful dash to the nearby port town of Borrow got Ellie thinking about the plan. She never once was told what her contact looked like, who they were, or even exactly where they would meet her. Perhaps she had to look for another government stooge. Upon entering the town, all that Ellie could see were shacks, shanties, a few people dressed in parkas- natives of Alaska no-doubt for the most of them. Flying over Alaska by plane, Ellie thought that the landscape wa
