[starting from the 19th day of June, in the year 2010]
I did not know what to make of the peculiar dream I had that night. Little did I know that this dream would be the beginning of something so extraordinary, I would never come to fully grasp the implications of it, and the life I would come to live afterwards would be unlike anything I had ever known! My dream, in context, was surprisingly similar to the manner of Peter Petrelli's memories of his father Arthur, in the Heroes episode 'Eris Quod Sum', as in mine playing out by use of the psychic static from my telepathy.
In the silence between heartbeats, the life I knew would be changed forever. All logic I possessed regarding a myth, which was just that, a myth, would shatter like fragile crystal struck by a hammer.
A myth that would soon become reality for me, and change my life in ways I could never have imagined…
I was climbing slowly up through a maze of rocky crags and icy cliffs on Mount Logan, Canada's highest

The rain fell heavily over the city; a blanket of water. One that kept falling and falling, unsure if it had covered everything yet, and in its persistence and dedication it had begun to flood the sidewalks and walking paths.
Splashing through one of these flooded paths was a man, both his long coat and the paper he held above his head drenched, neither doing a very good job at keeping the blanket of precipitation off of him. He ran and ran and ran, every stomp of his feet splashing more water onto his already soaked suit pants. He had read somewhere that it had been proven that running through the rain, like he currently was, actually got you more wet than patiently walking through it. But he doubted a rain like this cared if he was walking or running, and the article in which he had read this was currently washing away above his head so there was no way he could be certain of what he had read.

Suddenly a bloated Matt with a partially digested lizard in his stomach arrived.
“Sorry I am late, rescued a girl and she gave me lunch.” Matt lied patting his distended belly.
“C’mon we have to return to Niyko and tell them what we did.” Conor instructed. The trio began heading to the Republican Kingdom of Niyko (often called Niyko) as they were in the Monster Republic of the Niykian Forest (often called the Dark Forest). The village that they previously in was at the heart of the forest meaning in would take a while to get to Niyko. The sun had finally set.
“We should probably make camp.” Conor advised, by now Matt’s belly had returned to the slightly chubby form. “We should eat.” Kamil started cooking using vegetables stored in his bag. In the meantime Conor constructed tents while Matt held his temple and his st

"Kamil...if this is the end...you were the best friend I could ever ask for..." Conor said closing his eyes for the last time.
"Same...to...you."Kamil also said before his eyelids sealed for good.
Meanwhile Matt was calmly walking through the forest with his belly sticking out proudly. Using his lizard eyes he looked down to see that the orb of flesh had started getting smaller.
"The master will be proud of me for not only possessing Matt's body and using his vore abilities but I have also defeated his comrades." Matt said patting his belly proudly before yawning. "All that eating has made me tired. I best rest. " Matt advised himself. He laid on the forest floor and fell asleep almost instantly as his sto

The gun smoke trailed off of the barrel of Monica’s revolver. As Vivian’s body erupted in blood spatter as the round split through her body. Some splattering Megan’s face as Vivian’s body fell in what seemed like slow motion as the woman whimpered like a wounded animal as Monica swiftly moved, standing over the body and pinning it still as she leveled the barrel as Vivian struggled to squirm away. “Oh no you don’t!” Monica barked as the revolver fired twice as the splatter of blood echoed with the eruption of gunfire before it trailed off into silence. Monica turned to Megan, who was slumped up against the end of a desk, her head bowed with the pistol loose in her hand as it rested in her lap. Megan could be heard sobbing loudly as Monica came over, kneeling to comfort her sobbing lover. “There, there. Its okay.” Monica soothed as she pulled Megan into a gentle hug and rubbed her back. Eventually, Mega

"Continuing the Promise"
As my reflections came to an end, the memorial service had reached its conclusion and we then continued the tradition of placing roses at the Memorial Cairn that was created for the 10th anniversary of the bombing. But, as nice as the Cairn was, it was not the right memorial for me as the real memorial for me was back in Coolsville, where I would be visiting in several days. However, as I walked away from the site of the memorial, I heard Daphne's voice again and with no one else looking, I saw what appeared to be a ghostly figure of Daphne standing in front of me, wearing the purple dress she was buried in.
"See? I told you that I was never gone, Freddie," she said to me, smiling slightly. "I've told Jesus all about you and he wanted me to tell you that I am saving you and everyone a seat up in heaven. I've actually gotten to know many of the people who died in the bombing and most of them are really nice to me."
I smiled at this, knowing that Daphn

"Daphne Blake's Funeral"
The day of Daphne's funeral was a somber and yet, celebratory occasion. While it was a day of mourning, it was also a day of a celebration of a special person's life. Daphne's funeral was a traditional Roman Catholic mass with Father Thomas, our longtime parish priest presiding over it, with traditional funeral songs such as Here I am Lord, Ave Maria and On Eagle's Wings being played throughout the church.. Even as we watched him step up to the podium on the left hand side of the casket, he had some words about Daphne that he had wanted to have spoken in his homily.
"God works in strange and mysterious ways, my friends," he began, looking down for a moment, before looking back up at us. "However, if a child of God is being victimized by Satan, then the child is brought to the New Jerusalem. From her baptism to conformation, Daphne was first and foremost, a student and a child of God. I had the distinction of watching her grow up from a beautiful youn

"Daphne Blake's Wake"
As planned, the mourning process for Daphne began the day after Christmas and all of our family and friends came in to say goodbye to a beautiful person whose life was cut tragically short at 31,000 feet. But, just before the wake was about to begin, I approached the opened mahogany casket and looked down at Daphne's body, clothed in her favorite purple dress with her legs clad in her favorite pink pantyhose and her purple high heels on her feet. Her neck was wrapped in her favorite green scarf and her red hair was washed nicely with the purple headband on her head.
"Well, this is it, Daphne," I whispered, placing my hand on her folded hands. "After all we have been through together; this is our last goodbye until next time. But, I have something for you to take with you up to our lord and master."
I then placed a small bouquet of baby roses in her hands, echoing what Joe DiMaggio did at Marilyn Monroe's funeral in 1962. Finally, I knew at that moment t

"The Preparations Begin"
It was already two days after the crash before the bodies of those from Pan Am 103 had arrived from the fields of southwest Scotland. When I had gotten the news, Mr. and Mrs. Blake allowed me to take them in the Mystery Machine down to JFK Airport and collect Daphne's body, which was one of the first one to be taken off of the Pan Am cargo jet.
"You'll be home soon, Daphne," I whispered to the wooden casket containing her remains as Mrs. Blake broke down sobbing again. I must say that the drive back to Coolsville was one of the longest in my life. I knew that this was the start of Daphne's final farewell and I had to prepare to say goodbye to my soul mate.
When we arrived back in Coolsville that night, the lights of the Christmas decorations were flashing bright all over the town, but when we arrived at the Tripp funeral home, the only lights greeting us were the flickering candles in the windows. As we arrived, we saw Daniel, the funeral director wai
PC: Greetings Among PiratesThe sky was stained a vibrant pink and the morning mist still hung in the air as Mynx made her morning rounds. To be fair the English port they had stopped at was dreadfully cold for her, but she refused to dress like one of those... honestly she had no idea how those females moved in such restrictive garb. Besides if she kept moving fast she wouldn't be so cold. As of the moment the little 'savage' as she was sometimes referred had just climbed up the main mast and was checking the strength of the beams and sails. Luckily whatever battles the ship had seen before her joining did not seem to have left considerable damage.. yet. Feeling satisfied with her inspection, Mynx slid back down the main mast to continue her examination of the ship.PC: Greetings Among Pirates6 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

A Sword for a Six-Gun~1So many of these sort of stories begin with a lone gunman riding in at sundown. Its a tired old trick, but its never wrong. Every story needs a fool to trip over a problem and kick up the dust when he lands. As soon as that dust settles, there’s a story surrounding that fool, ready to tear into him for disturbing it.A Sword for a Six-Gun~18 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
This fool was no exception. K the Goat was a drunk and a coward, although never at the same time. A banker’s son initially, he’d run away when he was fifteen to make a name for himself in history. Part of that name came from boasts spread around campfires and in saloons. The rest was what gave him his rather unfortunate title, “the Goat.” Anyone who had ever seen him eat would swear to two things: his stomach had no bottom and his tongue had no feeling. He’d eat anything that wouldn’t kill him, and a few things that rode the line. In fact, that appetite was the secret to his survival past the age of twenty-five.
EpilogueIt has been months since the fateful day of my life-altering journey, and not a day goes by that I don't enjoy my new life, and I know I now have great friends who had guided me every step of the way in my quest for a new beginning. And although I may never again return to my old home, I have come to enjoy both a new home, and life, in the mystical place known as Avalon, which in fact was the true Home of the dragons, and now a permanent haven for all who desired a new beginning for themselves.Epilogue9 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
I had known all along that I would never return to my home, but also knew that Avalon was far better a place to live, and I knew I would enjoy living here forever.
Later, Drago, by telepathy, had discovered from my family that, about five years ago, and two years after I had come to Avalon, the cave I had found in the quarry, which they had found while exploring there, that had held the sodalite structure that had transformed me, had long since collapsed, and had been n

But even so, I, as a Christian, always believed in having faith that even within the darkest hours, hope will always eventually come.
I lay sleeping quietly on a sunny hill beneath some apple trees, dreaming of my family. I dreamed of my father arriving with Barb and Brandon, here in Avalon, and I running into their embraces, knowing we would never again be separated, and could live as a family again, forever.
But, sadly, it seemed as though this was just out of reach. I suddenly felt intense psychic static following a brief flash of memory.
I jerked awake, looking around. I was alone at the moment, so I closed my eyes, seeking my vision. It flashed again, as my eyes snapped open, and I swiftly stood, turning to look toward the mountains. Then came the sudden, terrible realization that my premonition had indeed been real!!

I never stopped dreaming of Brandon, Barb, or my dad, even for one moment, in the past decade since I had come to Avalon.
Since it existed in a separate reality from that of Earth, time here was different: one month in Avalon equaled exactly two years on Earth, so now, since I had been here for a decade in Avalon's time, that meant that exactly 240 years had passed on Earth!!! I had enjoyed myself so much, that I hardly noticed time go by. I knew that neither I, nor any of the dragons, could ever age, and so we were free to live happily.
But as time stretched on, my dreams of my family became more and more frequent. My friends and Drago noticed that whenever I did think of my family, I became withdrawn, sad, and quiet.
Drago, Thorn and Marrok all consoled and comforted me, after learning that I was about to take a long journey back to the only home I'd ever known. It was my decision, and I knew I would act on it, even if it was painful.

AvalonI then looked around, and alongside Thorn, saw I was standing on a long, wide smooth pathway of brilliant black obsidian, extending to about two metres before us, then disappearing. We also saw many other dragons, both of Eastern and medieval forms, walking, flying, and lazing in the distance!
As I stared, slowly taking in the land's incredibly beautiful, ethereal appearance, Valryn smiled at my awed expression.
'Is this...?!' I started, as Drago smiled again.
'Yes, Drake!' he replied happily. 'This is Avalon, where you and Thorn are free to live in peace and prosperity for all time!'
Drago paused to let me collect this, although I did find it hard to believe that I had now come, and seen with my own eyes, the very place that I had only dreamed of seei

Crisscrossing the ground was an incredibly vast network of diamantine sodalite that seemed to glow with all the colours of the rainbow, while at the same time looking rather ethereal. Suddenly looking up, I saw a large rift, which we soon entered. I was absolutely spellbound as we flew through a long, winding cavernous tunnel whose walls blazed with sodalite charm! It was unlike anything I had ever seen, and I knew that I would never forget it!!
Soon, we reached a vast cavern, right in the heart of Fell-Dagr. It was so big that I imagined my old home could have fit in here twice over, with room to spare!!! The walls were sporadically veined with the chrysolite, but the dim light it gave off still allowed sufficient views. I
