A Home to Call His OwnThe night was late, and the storm was strong. Rain poured down fast and hard onto the mostly-empty streets, thunder booming and lightning flashing in the distance. Thanks to the clouds above, it was mostly dark, save for a few streetlamps here and there, and the headlights of the handful of cars on the road. It was weather that no one should be out in, if they could help it.A Home to Call His Own23 hours ago in Short Stories
For one child, he had no other choice. He was a brown-haired 4-year-old wrapped in a dark coat, which he had found in an alley. It was his sole protection against the cold winds and heavy rain, and it was hardly sufficient. He ran as he tightly clung to his teddy bear, the one true possession he had, like it was his brother. It was just another day for him, besides the unsuitable weather; find shelter for the night, and stay warm as he fell asleep. Even if it took him all night, he would find it. In his heart, he knew he could.
The boy jolted has he heard a woman’s voice, and fel
Good Morning - Mikaela Hyakuya x ReaderGood Morning - Mikaela Hyakuya x Reader6 hours ago in Short Stories
When morning rolled on around blue eyes slowly opened, yawning awake the blonde smiled when he saw his girl sleeping beside him, her (H/C) was a bit messy from her slumber and her (E/C) eyes were closed as she was in deep sleep.
As he propped himself on his elbow and smiled down at the girl, his fingers ran through her long hair and also moved some of it away from her face, he liked waking up in the morning just to see her at his side. Chuckling he knew that she'd have to wake up soon at some point.
So with the usual way he always had done he leaned down towards her and kissed her face with light pecks, on her cheek, nose, forehead, chin, eye lids and then finally her lips.
"Time to wake up (Y/N) dear." He whispered in her ear.
Pulling away he noticed her shift slightly as her eyes slowly open, smiling at him she slowly reached out cupping his cheek in her hand.
"Good morning Mika." She whispered still a bit tired.
"Good morning love." He replied.
Everyday that was how Mika woke you up

Geno: It's villainy.
Dipper: I'll look it up in a dictionary--
Mage: OKAY WE GET IT, IT'S A WORD THAT'S CONFUSING TO SPELL.
Knight: Well, we introduced all the new co-host now. Let's introduce them for real now!--
Tendo: I think I already introduced them enough in the journal I posted earlier.
Mage: Ah, never mind. Anyways; Villains. All throughout fiction they've existed.
Yang: But some villains are more pathetic then others. And they deserved to get punched in the face!
Knight: Like Lord Hater, the guy who waste all his power on his hatred for Wander and Silvia!
Geno: And Lord Crump, leader of the X-Nauts.
Tendo: It's our job to analyze fighters to see who would win in a Death Battle!

FLF - Prompt3 - FrigidHer gaze was frigid yet blazingly intense at the same time. I didn’t know why she stared at me like that. Maybe it was because of the camera. Little did I know that would be the last time I would see her or that this photograph I took of her would become so well-known. It makes me wish that I never took it. That maybe if I never took it, somehow, things would be different and she’d still be here, that she’d still be alive. I know it wouldn’t have mattered but I can’t help wishing all the same. They all keep telling me that it’s not my fault. How could it be? I wasn’t the one who killed her. But I’m her older sister. I was supposed to be looking out for her. I should have gone with her that night. Then at least, something would have been different. She might have lived. I knew how much she wanted to see that band but I- I couldn’t go. Fight or FlightThe violent roar of battle grew closer and closer as Honeypaw approached the area with his group of Moonclan Warriors and Apprentices. The sound was almost deafening, hisses and howls of anger and pain penetrated the air, screaming through the wind which then wrapped around them in a suffocating lock.Fight or Flight22 hours ago in Short Stories
He stayed close to Sighingpaw's side, trying to weigh up how nervous his friend was. Neither of them had ever faced war like this. They'd run through fires, travelled over vast trails of land, but somehow the experience of rushing onto a field where there were others, other cats trying to kill you and do you harm seemed all the more terrifying.
But it was okay, it was normal to be frightened before a fight. Right? It told you that your instincts were working properly which meant they would serve you better when you finally met your first opponent. At the end of the day cats could be cats all they wanted, but those worthy of respect, particularly amongst the toms always came from warfare.

Yuta had simply been standing there with her eyes still spinning unconsciously and Katia had managed to resist being pulled in.

Once again, Yuta had made no move against the princess.

AT.::Infinitehearts::.It should have been simple really, Catherine thought nervously. Just another social function with the lovely ladies of Boston. Though things were different now compared to how they had been last time she’d been to a party; Miss Matthews herself was different from then as well. She was….enlightened, she liked to think. For so long she’d been sheltered from the outside world, unable to think outside her mother’s parlor where she’d spent so many days sipping tea and trading gossip. “Catherine, darling!” A elderly voice called, and she pulled a fake smile upon her face. An older woman pulled her into an impersonal, awkward hug and Catherine couldn’t help but feel so wrong doing this. There had been a time when such actions had felt so normal; she reminded herself that had been before her life had been changed, and probably for the better.
The stayover endsIt is the middle of the afternoon, on the last day of Shadow's stayover at his best friend and "sister"'s place, to keep her company for a while. And Juley was taking a bit of a nap as she had a rough night sleeping, thanks to her unborn twins causing some mischief the night prior. Elsewhere, Shadow was doing some air-punching outside and out of harm's way regarding the items that could be wrecked inside Juley's home. As he trained, he pondered how much longer his "sis" had before she was going to have her kids. He tried his best to not let it bug him too much as he slowly upped his punching speed. The stayover ends22 hours ago in Short Stories

That's what they were. Small people in a small room speaking big thoughts about a bigger world about which they know nothing beyond what they have read or been told second-, third-, or even fourth-hand.
They built individual soapboxes, bolstered by raised voices and belligerent self-centeredness. They yelled and bickered and sniped at cross-purposes, mistaking overheard anecdotes for evidence, and arguers for the embodiment of their arguments.
There were a few that did not speak up, because what was there to say about a subject on which you know nothing?
Yet, the others were making a career out of it. Soon they would be demanding their exorbitant speaking fees and writing their memoirs about how they KNOW what is best and how everyone else is WRONG.
Meanwhile, in the small poor impoverished country these small people were linguistically masturbating over, a small boy dies of starvation.

A large storm raged above the ship, deafening the voices that called out to one another below the raging skies. While the sky bellowed out words deafened by thunder, the waves rose high and struck down at the ship, soaking, pushing and pulling all those that were caught beneath it. The water chilled them all to the very bone, but the promise of sleep after all of this was over and a strong drink of ale to warm them from the inside to the outside kept them going. The men refused to let their limbs seize up or give way underneath the strain of the cold, as well as the relentless pounding of the rain and sea. They all had families to go back to after this, well, not all of them. But they all had something precious to go home to. They all had a promise that they would always keep. None of those men were on that ship for the pure and sole purpose of money.

After he did so he returned home and spent time with those that lived in his Glade. Then, tuckered out, he had asked for the nanny to keep an eye on everyone, especially Ceren. The golden filly liked to run off. Often.
As soon as he woke up a bad feeling. He dismissed himself quickly from his glade and spotted the nanny coming towards him. She seemed rather distraught, staying that Ceren had run off after throwing an immense temper tantrum. Hmph. Odd. Ceren never threw temper tantrums. She had crying fits, but never temper tantrums... Unless this was something new.
The striped stag set off to track down his golden daughter. She was likely off playing with someone. He wasn't worried until someone began shouting. Alarm filled the stag and he turned that way, ringed ears pricked forwards. "Fire! There

Hmmm... it's going to be Valentine's Day soon, isn't it? I should probably make something for Sakuya--err, I mean... for everyone. Yeah, for everyone! It was early in the afternoon, and I had spent the entire day relaxing in my room. There was a lot on my mind... good things, of course, but it was difficult for me to focus on working hard when my heart was so full of... well, feelings.
Ever since Sakuya and I were paired up following the terrorist attacks on our ship, we've been growing closer. I decided that the promise wasn't necessary, that I didn't want to give up on his--on our--future. Together, we'd overcome it... I know we would. Since then, our journey's been really peaceful...it feels like an extended vacation. Anyway, I've only got a few days... I should get started. Hmm... I don't really know how to make anything that great, though. We're stopping in town

I opened my eyes lazily, and saw the figure next to me. At first I was startled, but relaxed. Jesus, it's just Sky... I thought, as I stretched my arms out, careful not to hit her or shake the bed she was laying in. Sighing, I looked at the way her chest rose gently, and fell. Some of her hair was laying above the tip of her red nose. I giggled slightly as she sneezed quietly, the hair blew evenly with every single breath she took. I closed my eyes, and remembered her tear stained face just earlier this morning. It made me sad to see this strong, seemingly emotionless woman look that way. I heard a yawn, and looked over to see Sky's steel blue eyes open. " Morning. " She said, and stretched her arms. Her ponytail looked sloppy, and her eyes drooped due to just waking up. She climbed out of bed, and turned towards it. Scrunching her nose at the Ruffled up sheets, she bent down, and started to make the bed.
