Fight for a Legend, chapter 6 I had a strange dream that night. I was standing before two planes at once. On my left was a plane filled with fire and lava, with a single red sword jutting from a stone. On my right was the blue sword I remembered seeing a while back, still encased in ice except the handle. I reached out to both, touched the handles, and after feeling nothing, gripped them. It felt right. So very natural, unlike the place I was in. Suddenly it was all yanked from me as I woke up.Fight for a Legend, chapter 68 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters
"Whaaaa....?" I lazily mumbled.
I looked at myself. I had kicked the blanket off of me, like I managed to do every night no matter where I slept, and saw that a lot of my cracked scales were healed. I wasn't completely 100%, but getting there at least. I looked and saw it was still night, and that Alexis and Dustin were asleep. I walked over to the window, opened it, and sat on the ledge, looking at the night sky. I enjoyed doing this, I never hardly had a chance because the past few days I've bee

Chapter 6- The Revelation!
The next morning, Korra, Nero, and Mako slowly woke up hearing, "Equality now! Equality now! We want equality now!" Korra saw she was using Mako as a pillow, making her yelp in surprise as she scooted away from the young Firebender. Nero heard the yelp but was more focused on Four Eyes as he said, "There's Four Eyes" Four Eyes continued on as the three walked toward him, making him gasp in surprise and yelled into the megaphone, "You two! You will not silence me Avatar! Demon!" Korra knocked the megaphone out of Four Eyes' hands and it shattered to the ground as she said, "Shut your yapper and listen up! Our friend got taken by some Chi-blockers, where did they take him?" "I have no idea what you're talking about", Four Eyes said as he crossed his arms. "Knew you'd say that", Nero muttered before Korra stomped her foot onto the ground, causing the desk to shoot upward, making Four Eyes fall off an
Tears of Gold--Page 1 (prologue)They say that the element of fire is wild--untamable. Dangerous. That fire, in its truest form, is somethings to be feared. That fire resembles fury, stress, and feral passion.Tears of Gold--Page 1 (prologue)6 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters
The other elements feared fire...each of them stayed far away in terror of being burnt. And don't get me wrong, fire is a fury that is meant to be feared.
Earth, though it can withstand fire, cannot keep the flames away from the plants it hopes so dearly to preserve. Earth is strong and sturdy, the best defense for the fragile plant life it protects, but even it knows fire is not to be fooled with.
Air is rumored to be able to wipe out the flames...but air fears feeding the fire to even greater height. When controlling huge gusts of wind, air may be able to become a worthy opponent. But with that power comes a price. Air is afraid of feeding the flame, so more often than not, it retreats to the skies, where delicate features are needed.
Fire, it seems, is the strongest of all. But don't let that fool you.

The three of them froze at the sound of the door knock and the voice on the other side. The speed of the event was alarming, considering the permutations of their conversation with the faceless man just then. Tracer leaned over to look through the peephole into the hallway, blinking and turning back towards the others with a profoundly confused look in his eyes. There was, in fact, a maid standing there in the uniform of the hotel. She was plain and normal looking, patiently waiting outside of the door with a set of towels in her hands.
“Well, who is it?” Dusk said, her eyebrow raised.
“It's actually one of the hotel staff. I don't get it,” Tracer said, watching as Samantha stormed up and wrenched the door open to look directly at the woman, eyes scanning the hall. Nothing. There was no sign, and they hadn't heard the doors open once. The impossibility of it was too strong, but regardless it

Solemn: Cartoonival Audition
Knives in Toy Land
A decrepit town sits between a dark fiery mountain and a cold sorrowful lake. A thick mist covered it, the only light being from the half moons looming overhead. The town was home to only one soul, a doll by the name of Solemn. She was fast asleep in a very well made makeshift bed. Looking at her she seemed more like a fresh corpse then a living doll, she was motionless, no small shifts to get comfortable, no breathing. The only movement came from a curtain lightly floating in the draft of a cracked window that overlooked the lake. The sun started to peak over the water and Solemn’s eye opened slowly. She lightly lifted the cover off of her, she sat up, flexed her joints to make sure they all still worked. She got up slowly and moved to a small magic powered stove top, she turned it on. She grabbed a tea pot, filled it with water and placed it on the stove. Solemn almost looked content despite her usual vacant stare, she went back t

What a nice day! The skies are blue, the grass is green, and I want to go out in the forest to explore! I jump down from my perch on the mountain and spread my wings. I slowly and carefully glide down to the place where my flock is. "Mother, can I go out to explore?" I ask. "Sure, young one. Just don't get lost." Mother is so nice! I fly off with a whoop.
Soon, I come to a small clearing where there was a Grimalkin. She didn't seem to be that old, and was looking closely at a flower. "Hello!" I greet. She turns around. "Who're you?" "I'm Zephyr!" "Oh, that's nice, I'm Lily." "So, do you want to be friends or something?" "I just met you barely a moment ago." "Okay, I'll go away." "Wait!" "Huh?" "Do you want to go and meet my family?" "Okay!"
Well, she walked, so I walked, too. Soon we came to a place where houses were built on the trees. Just like nests! A lot of Grimalkins were staring at me. We came to what I assumed was her house. She had to climb on a
The Nippening [Roleplay]It was a slow day over at Keith’s farm house, and by slow, it meant that everything was going wrong that could go wrong. Durango had gotten out to go see Lady again and threw a hissy fit when Keith had to take him home. Then it started to rain while he trekked back. Keith locked his mustang up and secured a rope around the gate to ensure that Durango didn't make an unwanted departure. Now thoroughly soaked to the bone and muddy the cowboy trudged inside to the bathroom and found that his shower had no hot water. So he grit his teeth and took a not so nice cold shower. The Nippening [Roleplay]2 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters
Flo had been out working with the Lady when Durango had trotted up as though it was his due. The Lady had immediately began to ignore Florence, obviously more concerned with the appearance of the stallion. She snorted at him and then, when he was taken away by a rather irate-looking Keith, began to kick up a fuss by rearing and whinnying for the stallion. Flo had called it a day after managing to get the horse's att

I stared at the building in front of me, my hands in my pockets. Somewhere inside this building was the artifact I had been tasked with retrieving. Of course, the face the building was a museum was no real surprise. Yet, finding the artifact might be more difficult than I’d imagined. With a sigh, I headed into the building to begin my search.
The artifact was a necklace of some value, hinted to be part of a great set that came from some distant world. It had been passed down from Assassin to Assassin, with the occasional Templar. Then it became lost to time, and no one could find it for centuries. It, of course, found in some dig somewhere and stored in museum after museum. Leo wanted to bring it back to the compound, to bring it back to our Order.
I wandered, staring at the displays and taking in various historical information. I shuddered slightly and pulled my jacket a little closer around me. I wasn’t sure if it was due to the chill in the air or if the man behind m

A month later, I was walking up the steps of my high school with my best friend, Seth Blake. As we entered the school, it became suddenly quiet as people stopped what they were doing to stare at us, me in particular. I haven’t been there in over a month because of my almost demise and already I feel like I'm a stranger again. I’ve only been here for about five years and it took a while for people to warm up to me. And still not very many people actually talk to me, err, that I actually talk to, anyway, otherwise I’d be sort of popular. I’ve been asked out by almost every girl in school and even a few guys, but my answer has always been the same: No.
It’s not that I don't like them, its just that I feel like its not me they really want, but my best friend. I know, I'm sounding a bit paranoid but I can't help it. Where we live, you have to be or you could get yourself killed. I know, a bit strange coming from a guy who nearly died a month ago becau

Many long black shadows cast over the Lameth plain from the tall, mighty Nidon Mountains in their solitude and beautiful silence, and the ever growing trees of the forest of Glarwe. He knew that he should be at least slightly happy about being alive, but...he felt absolutely nothing...and he did not care about it even a bit. Neither he cared that someone's pretty stinky foot was on his chest. The warlock turned his head to the left to take a look at a person, to whom this foot belongs, and was not surprised at all to what he saw. Right next to him was laying Lirian with his head hanging off of the edge of the bed. His hands were tied in some impossible position under his back and legs just thrown to different sides as if they were boneless. Seeing this picture Ddraig slightly raised his eyebrow wondering how is that even possible. Then pushed blond's foot off of own chest and got up from the bed. Lirian was not even thinking about waking up and simply rolled to his side putting his feet on pillows. Ddraig wat

Iris, behind the bars, was curled up on the jail cell bed with her back against the wall. They had taken her swords, which were being stored by a desk in front of the prison. The little jail only had a couple of cells, but only Iris’ was filled. Her eyes were baggy and it was evident that she had been very, very upset.
“I saw Cyclone,” Raizor explained, sitting down outside of the jail. Turning to Metyl, he whispered, “You can go ahead and wait outside.”
Metyl nodded, and ducked out of the room.
Iris narrowed her eyes through the bars at her brother. “So…?”
“I know what you’re thinking,” Raizor said, staring up at the ceiling. “That I’m going to protest against Cyclone, to say that he lied, to try to defend myself…”

It blackened the sky, turning the clouds grey, darkening their beautiful world. Debrees were everywhere, covering the courtyard with bricks and stones, wood and metal; it was a mess. Cries of fear and pain, shouts of anguish rose up, breaking the silence of the early morning. Tearing peace from the castle and the city nearby. Euressious, now, was completely awake. I was beginning to wish I'd never heard of Udon Gho Pahn. That dish had caused me nothing but trouble since I got here. It had dragged me out of the shadows into the limelight. Not just with the staff but with the noble family, and now even the Duke himself.
The moment Cecile left the room, Dora's eyes lit up. They practically sparkled with things unspoken. I was in awe of the ease with which the aged duchess switched between personas. From doddering, kindly old mistress to astute political manipulator in the blink of an eye.
I was certain my own eyes were filled with something approaching dread. Despite all my clever, if ultimately empty threats. Despite everything I had learned. I was boxed into a corner. I didn't have any choices left to me. I wanted to stay quiet and unseen in the shadows until I could figure this whole thing out. Until I could find a way home. Instead

I would like for you to come with me. Your father does have a seat on the council if his advice was ever needed" Vergil nodded his head and followed Tenzin to the council chambers. I'm being held down. Somebody is strapping me to a table. I can't move, I can't breathe... What is happening to me? I'm struggling to get out from under these straps that are biting deep into my flesh. It hurts, it hurts very much. I grit my teeth and keep struggling, trying to break these straps apart but with no luck. I can smell my own blood. Oh, man, this is bad. Real bad. Finally, I stopped struggling and just yelled at the top of my lungs, "Let me out of here!"
I hadn't expected an answer. After all, who really answers something like 'let me out of hear'? Not any kind of horror monsters I know of. Then again, who even asks 'let me out of here'? Oh, wait, me. I just did. Guess that makes me an idiot.
I lay there, finally out of breath which is ridiculous considering I'm a vampire and they don't lose their breath all too easily. I lay there, trying to calm my erratic heart and to clear my mind so I can possibly think more rationally. Suddenly, bright lights surround me.

She shook the bars, trying to make eye contact with any of the firing squad. However, as soon as she did, they looked away briskly.
She finally sank down to the ground of the cage, hopeless. “Please… please…”
One of the guards lowered his gun. The movement caught Mint’s eye, and she looked up for a bit. The guard turned his head towards the road leading out of Tealios to Bluestone, and motioned to one of the other members of the squad. Soon, they were all looking at the road, and the surrounding civilians began to join them.
