“Are you sure it’s okay for us to cuddle with these two?” FireBrandi asked as she scratched Snowball’s head, “Aw, he’s so soft…”
“Sure,” the catgirl replied, “And I know! He’s even softer than me! Feel my fur!”
Snuggle held up her arm and Brandi petted it. Sure as the catgirl said, her short brown hairs were quite soft, but not nearly as “cottony” as Snowball or Snowflake’s fur.
“Ah, that’s chinchilla for you,” she sighed.
“Chimichanga?” Snowball asked.
“No, it’s too late for food,” Brandi admonished, then tickled the little bear’s nose, “It’s time for sleep and cuddles.
Damien's Time - Adam and Eve 2 Adam tried to get up, but once again fell back to the ground, “You have to go now ? You can't do anything to help me get my strength back ? You are the one who put me to sleep.”Damien's Time - Adam and Eve 21 hour ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Jehovah grew angry at the tone Adam was using towards him, “I'll go whenever I decide to go,” he answered, “The only thing that can help you regain your strength is someone nursing you back to full health, and I think Eve can handle that without me being here. As far as me putting you to sleep, I did what had to be done to calm you down and keep you in Eden. Do you want to leave now ?”
Adam was cowering down from Jehovah as he answered him, “No, I do not want to leave Eden. I am sorry. I did not mean to offend you in anyway. I thank you for all you have done for me.”
Jehovah turned towards Eve, who had also taken a couple of steps back from him due to fear of his anger, “I am sorry,” he said to he
On a Snowy Evening The snow fell at a light pace on the field. The night was cold but inviting as the stars peeked out from behind the cover of the clouds. On the horizon was a small town in a quiet section of the country. The houses were alight with holiday warmth and festive fires and lighting. Families turned in for the night as another day during this joyous season drew to a close. On a Snowy Evening1 hour ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The clouds parted and a beam of moonlight leapt through the gap and fell upon a clear patch of grass. A small gust of wind swirled about in and in a flash of frost and cold air a woman appeared. The grass became coated in frost as her feet touched the earth. The women had a tall, elegant stature with eyes that shined like crystals and skin as white as the falling snow. Her skin pale like the snow and her smile was warm and inviting like a timid fire in the hearth.
Dressed in azure and ivory robes, the ice nymph landed si

After giving their answer to the dastardly duo that they would rather fight than submit to them, war was declared on Thanesan, the entire army to descend upon them within a week’s time. A panic began to erupt through the town and castle, people condemning Jurian and Idelisa for not sacrificing themselves for the safety of the people. With such hateful thoughts and speech running through the population, Idelisa called forth the people to gather in the town square, standing in the center alone while Jurian, Jal, and Sycamore watched from the rooftops as she gathered everyone’s attention. “People of Thanesan! I call forth your attention as I wish to speak to you from the heart. Word of impeding war is upon is, the vile Malice Wing of ancient lore wishes to destroy not only myself but the entire land. Chapter One: Where is the MessRolling off her rack, Natalie muttered to the computer to turn the lights on dim, and stumbled over to her wall. She rubbed her sleep filled eyes as she pressed a switch, opening her closet. Gray, gray, darker grey, and black greeted her in the form of simple coveralls. She seriously needed to get some shopping done, this issued clothing was not going to cut it for the redhead.Chapter One: Where is the Mess8 minutes ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
It was her first full day on the station, the previous being a haze of paperwork and someone giving her a quick tour that included where she lived, how to get to the mess decks, and where orientation was, and not much else. She barely remembered the way to breakfast, and she was regretting that, as her belly was grumbling the need for oatmeal and her head screamed for coffee.
She pulled on the black coveralls and sighed inwardly when she noticed they were a good six inches too long. She had listed her hight, a full five feet tall, but evidently there was a mix up, or t

"You… you were good," the girl said. "My name's Shade."
Humerus glared at her, then replied, "Humerus."
"Rupert…" Rupert moaned, limply lifting up his hand.
Shade nodded, then slowly sat down.
Humerus smiled, looking up at the sky. It was surprisingly blue, like the tropical ocean that he had seen on a postcard. He fell back onto the soft, chalky earth, staring at the clear blue.
Shade looked over to him, then said, "I've never been here…" She looked up at the sky. "I've never been anywhere, really… I'm someone's shadow… meant to bring them all their worst fears… I'm them… but… darker…"
Rupert sat up, his eyes downcast. "I lost my pack today… we were supposed to go all the w

"What… what happened…?" Rupert choked out, close to tears.
Humerus shock his head in shock. "I don't know…"
The forest in front of them was bare, not a tree to be seen. The ground was white and the soil was chalky. It looked like it had become a desert.
"My… my home…" Rupert said, falling to his knees, tears rolling down his cheeks.
Humerus knelt down and grabbed a hand full of the chalk, slowly letting it fall through his fingers. He held up his now chalky hand, looking at it, then around the now desert area. His eyes landed on a dark, cloaked figure standing on a rocky outcropping. The

Pumori hesitantly strolled towards the door that led to the wing with all the apartments of the Jarl and his immediate family. If of course, he had had an immediate family. She slowed her pace when she approached the garden door until she finally came to a full stop. With her hands on her back, she scraped one foot nervously over the stone floor, staring at the door and the guard standing in front of it (who was starting to wonder what was going on). Suddenly, her courage left her and she abruptly turned around to walk away. Anya was standing only a few meters behind her. She smiled at the startled and embarrassed wolf girl.
“Pumori! How nice to see you. What are you doing here? Are you waiting for someone or something? I think Falco is in his study. He’s been there a lot lately.”
“No. Not wait for somebody. Not Falco-lord. Pumori go now.”
Anya quickly put her hand on the girl’s arm to stop her from marching off.

She ran her hand along the cold, broken, moss covered stone just before she jumped up and landed her bum up on the wall.
She kicked her legs up and down banging her heels into the stone; little chunks of it fell away as she did so.
It wasn’t long after then that she saw him limping by.
Tall, dark haired, pale skinned, wrapped up in his bloodied jacket, purples splinters sticking out of his body.
He was sort of good looking if you give him a long glance.
Rosie thought. She almost fell backwards off the wall, after just realising what she said internally to herself.
The night wasn’t warm in the slightest, she figured Seamus wouldn’t be able to see her; she didn’t have a very steady or strong body temperature.
He was just about past the little clearing of footpath you could see from the wall. But R

It didn’t take him long before he was dressed and ready and on his motorcycle. He was a little surprised that Zeltis hadn’t bothered him yet but he didn’t think too hard about it, in case that would jinx it. After parking, he was a little nervous about going in. He couldn’t help but worry about running into Hugh again. A few people looked at him oddly when he crept in, glancing around everywhere. Nissa wished she could weep, but that well had run dry.
Strangely, the cage was almost a comfort this time. The bars provided distance from the still-upset Lorcan, despite the cage door being unlocked.
“Why do you still dislike me so, pet?” Lorcan's tone wasn't derogatory or even angry. He sounded hurt. “Is my kindness not enough for you?”
Nissa toyed with a piece of fabric on her dress. “Sometimes...sometimes you still frighten me. So, when The Knowing tells me to run, I do. I can't stop myself.”
Lorcan turned his quizzical expression her way. “The Knowing?”
Nissa shrugged. “Yes.”
“Pray, tell. What is this Knowing?”
Another shrug. She couldn't explain it. She just couldn't tell him.
Lorcan shook his head and paced toward the door. “How can you expect me to trust you when in return you offer nothing?”
Nissa sighed. “How can you ask that of me when it should be the other way around

January 16th, 1875
Since this my first entry in this journal, I might as well introduce myself. My name is Professor Edward Cadmon. I have recently completed my studies in Biology and more specifically Zoology at Oxford. By the time someone else is reading my entries I will have hopefully obtained my doctorate. That is what this expedition is for after all.
I am to be spending a year in the Amazon rainforest, more than seventy five miles from civilization, to study the strange and wild life forms that inhabit the area, and hopefully discover a new species of animal altogether. This journal is supposed to be solely for research purposes, I donut that will happen. I have a terrible habit of going off on tangents with my thoughts, and this journal might end up as much of a collection of personal thoughts as scientific discovery.
I digress. To continue with my location, I arrived in Brazil a week ago and since then, my campsite has been set up. We have had to set up mosquito nets over all

"You have everything that will keep you goin' for a month, Randy?" Naomi asked, and Randy nodded,
"Yes, mom, for the third time." Randy replied, annoyed. Naomi smiled softly, and hugged her son one more time before he got on the bus. Randy blushed slightly in embarrassment, but hugged his mother back, and she ruffled his hair.
"Make sure you call after you get settled." Naomi said, and Randy nodded, slightly annoyed, and got on the bus.
"Dude, this is going to be the cheese!" Howard cheered, and Randy grinned back in glee.
"I know! I can't believe my cousin is actually a mega genius!" Randy replied as he sat down next to Howard.
"The only thing that will suck during this trip is that we have to wear stupid uniforms." Howard groaned, throwing his arms onto his lap. Randy shrugged,

I looked over at the clock and practically jumped out of bed. My alarm hadn’t gone off. When I checked my phone, I found that I forgot to unmute it after the concert. “Why didn’t you wake me?” I inquired. “When are you ever late? I figured I just missed you while I was eating, since I didn’t notice you when I got up.” replied Jarod. Well, I was late today. I sent Aaliyah a text to inquire when I was needed downstairs, and got a reply almost instantly. Luckily, I didn’t have anything for a couple hours still. This was only the third day of the convention, and I already was in the mindset to be there before the floor opens. What had happened to me? The Imagination of the new kid “Wake up Sherlock!” I called from the green bushes in my backyard, that stupid creature still hadn’t moved from his cozy little spot on my bed. I pulled up the sleeve of my red flannel shirt and peeked at my silver watch. Noon; I swear, that dog sleeps more than I do. I focused on the small brown bucket by my feet; I still had work to do and water to bring to Alex for the horses. I would have asked for his help, if I wasn’t so stubborn. He had asked if I wanted help fetching water from the well behind my cottage (which I had now painted white), but I, being to awkward in the presence of a boy, insisted that I already knew how to do everything on my own and I was even strong enough to carry the bucket. The Imagination of the new kid2 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

As his vision gradually became sharper, the stranger's features grew more defined. It was Lianna. She was wearing a black form-fitting leather suit typical of trackers in the Homeguard. Her short dark brown hair framed the delicate features of her face, which were frowning in a look of concern. Her girlish appearance and fragile features hid the strong will and tough demeanor that had allowed Lianna to survive the grueling challenges and hardships that becoming a solider of the Sentorian Homeguard entailed.
