Chapter 5 Master PostEmily had stood there in silence as Darrian disappeared into the distance out through the industrial tier’s arch. She didn’t know what to think about him at all now, but the more she let it swim around in her mind the more it made sense. He kept refusing to show himself, and now she knew why. The memory burned within her mind, it was hard to mistake the look in his eyes. He wasn’t the same as she remembered though, so part of her wanted to not believe they were the same; the kesslan beside her however confirmed it.Chapter 5 Master Post7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters
The sudden weight of an arm lay across Emily’s shoulders and soft grey fur brushed the side of her face as Cassandra pulled the girl closer. “He gives a hell of a show doesn’t he?”
Emily snapped out of her stupor with a flinch. “Sorry. Uhh yes he does.”
Cassandra shook the girl slightly. “Aww don’t go getting lusty at him, he’s spoken for.”
Emily blushed, “no no, I was not. It was just -

It seemed almost unrealistically causal for them both when Sylvia stepped aboard Jon's roomy palm once more. But as the days passed, Sylvia was growing more familiar with this daunting mode of transportation. It was growing on her.
Jon carried her to the window by his closet. A steady drizzle continued beyond the pane of glass, painting the sky a darkened, dull grey.
"The paint is a little stubborn on the frame. Gimme a second," He set her down on the sill so he could pry at the window with both hands. Without warning, there was a juddering smack of wood against wood. The window flew open. "Ah! There we go."
The sound of rain amplified, its humid odor wafting over the threshold. Jon got on his knees behind her, waiting.
Not wanting to get soaked again just after cleaning and drying up, Sylvia was careful to stay out of direct contact with the rain as she stepped forwa

It was noon in the forest. The light was turned green from the leaves that swayed whenever the breeze blew. A young husky quietly followed a scent. She had been living on her own for quite some time and learned it wasn't so easy.
Yesterday Sophie had heard howling coming from the lands below the mountains. That didn't mean she could quickly catch a meal from the plentiful lands. There it was! A rather scrawny rabbit nervously chewed on some grass, unaware of her presence. Sophie lined herself up with the prey and prepared to leap.
Another day was passing, and it was one that Shadow had decided to relax on now, her hard work paying off. Her new pack seemed to be growing, and it filled her with pride to see her new members slowly coming out of their shell. There were a lot of injured that seemed to arrive here, but Shadow would assist them all t
Sange and Yasha - QuaintLoneliness was never one of Sange's primary concerns. If any other had wandered the plains as much as Sange has, they, too, would realize the lack of importance companionship held. Not once has she wished for any sort of companion, for she believed her own sword was the only companion she needs and the only companion she desires. Called “The Swordsman of Totality” by some, Sange roamed everywhere she wished with no specific purpose. Even though she has never set a purpose for herself, she still finds it her duty to prove to other swordsmen that they are not nearly of her caliber. As she thought of this, she also briefly thought of her lack of companionship. If they can't even beat me in a duel, she thought, they don't deserve the right to have me as their accompaniment. It's only been a couple of years since Sange had set out alone, quietly, without much of a trace from her hometown. It was her desire for solitude in the first place that caused her to venture out. However,Sange and Yasha - Quaint8 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters

No matter how fast she ran, she could still feel it. The darkness, creeping up on her with murderous intent. She could imagine it spreading through the new world. Feeling, learning from, and tainting everything it touched.
The darkness wanted her. She was to be its catalyst; the being that would give it power beyond comprehension. Through her spirit, and against her will, it would multiply all through existence, festering until no one could stop it.
So Akari ran. Away from her homeland. Away from her comrades in arms and mutual adversaries. It didn't matter that her escape had opened a pathway for it. The darkness was weak without its catalyst. If anything, her flight had slowed its progress by forcing it to use more of its precious energy chasing her down.
No matter what happened, she could not allow it to catch up to her.

Blinding the Eye pt. 3A television show once asked “If you put a mysterious blue box slap-bang in the middle of town, what would people do? That’s right, they’d walk past it…” Nukus often thought that was a faulty form of logic. For instance, what if the box appeared in a time when there weren’t any blue boxes? Especially ones like the one from that TV show. It sounded to him like it was justification for a low budget.Blinding the Eye pt. 39 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters
What brought the thought to mind, however, was the eerily nondescript steel door stuck in the side of the mountain. What was worse was that part of the mountain’s climbing route went nearby (marked with a couple nondescript stone pylons that you would normally miss if you didn’t know what to look for). If anybody climbed down here, they would see the door… And then ignore it?
Even staring at the door, Nukus wanted to look away. Even when he knew Mr. Black, the Fear Engine, Solomon or wh

The Days passed quickly into weeks, and the weeks quietly turned into months. All the while, The Beast and Enoch worked to replant the farmlands of Pottsfield. Every night, they slipped out of their shed together and begin their work. Sometimes, The Beast would go to the forest to cut down more Edelwood, but most evenings, he'd follow Enoch to another field to start their work. Enoch liked working with The Beast. Sometimes, the Hope-Eater would start singing, and Enoch certainly enjoyed that voice.
One evening, as The Beast followed Enoch out of the shed, Enoch paused and glanced up to investigate something that had caught his eye. Black clouds were rolling in from the North, as dark and ominous as black clouds often were. The two figures stood still, rooted to the ground as they watched the horizon. The Beast hummed quietly in thought as Enoch felt the fur on his back raise with anxiousness.
"Smoke clouds?" Enoch murmured as he glanced up at his companion. The Bea

Bard wyszedł przed namiot. Szedł niepewnie, w jego kroku nie było tej zwyczajowej radości. Robił małe kroczki, trzymając lutnię przy sobie. Stanął i obejrzał się za siebie. Uśmiechnięci Fae i Kot gestami pokazywali mu, by kontynuował. Marywil westchnął. Nakręcił kołki lutni, zagrał kilka razy przypadkowe akordy, odchrząknął, po czym zaczął śpiewać na cały głos:
Czy spokojnie, czy deszczowo, czy to zawierucha
Zawsze snadnie sobie włożę penisa do ucha
Kot i Fae zaczęli się śmiać. Bard odwrócił na nich wzrok. Oni jednak gestami kazali mu kontynuować. Po kolejnym westchnięciu, Marywil śpiewał dalej:
Ni to w mięsie, ni w deserze, jeno tylko w zupie
A najlepiej dla mnie to dostawać kutasa wprost w dupę
Egzotyczny wojownik i elf zaczęli się tarzać

It was early in the morning, around 6:00 to more exact I had to be up early in order to help my niece get onto the bus for school, the apartment that I lived in was pretty quite, and through the windows I could see a few cars passing by on the roads. I lived in a small town mostly covered by woods but since the town had added a few new stores there were less woods which made me feel a bit upset. The air was cool not so cold that you would need a jacket on but it nice and refreshing and being able to breathe that crisp cool air was one of the many things that I loved. I had spent enough time dallying an began to get ready for the day, I walked into my bathroom and turned on the light not bothering to close the bathroom door. I picked up my toothbrush and turned on the cold water then I ran my toothbrush under it for a few seconds after that I grabbed the toothpaste and removed the top so that the paste would get onto my toothbrush. I set my toothbrush down and put t

Gabriel Cottontail (Rabbit TF) - Part 3It didn't take Audrey long to panic at the lack of texts from Gabe. Most of the day, he had texted her fairly consistently. He hadn't taken any more than a few minutes to respond to any of them. Then, around five, she had texted him again. Ten minutes passed. Then fifteen. Then twenty. At first, she hoped he was just driving home and that was what was causing the delayed response. But there were a couple things wrong with that theory. One, he surely would have let her know that he would be driving and unable to reply. Failing that, he only had a ten minute drive to work, which was (from what she could tell) one of the few things he liked about the job. He would be home by now, and should have replied.Gabriel Cottontail (Rabbit TF) - Part 312 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters

Aelwen was getting the run-around as to the whereabouts of the esteemed Captain Ballister, and was trying to keep her cool. She donned a demure smile as the boatswain, for the fifth time now, gave her a look that said, “I know exactly where he is, but I’m not telling an Elf, and I’m certainly not telling a woman.” That was the problem with humans, she mused; they said far too much without saying a damn thing.
Cliff Renfield was an interesting exception, of course. That ubiquitous scowl of his made him intriguing and almost unreadable. Aelwen was patient, however. Some day, she’d get the whole story out of him. For now, it was enough that he did not question her reasons for financing his ship. It was odd… it seemed at times that he wasn’t even grateful for her assistance; she was just another tool at h

Chaelim sauntered alongside Aelwen down the street leading to the docks. The street doubled as a small marketplace, and Chaelim couldn’t help but inspect the wares for sale as they walked. He paused to buy some apples and hurried back to her side.
“So, Miss Aelwen, why do you suppose the captain took such a quick interest in those two?” he asked at last. Smiling, he tossed the Elven woman one of the apples.
“I’m sure I’ve no idea,” Aelwen replied, catching the apple with two fingers. She examined it and then produced a handkerchief, dusting the fruit off with dainty sweeps until satisfied. She took a small nibble. “Something to do with that vendetta of his, like as not.”

Cliff Renfield took another long pull at his beer, the icy cold drink burning the back of his throat, and then sighed. Aelwen, their financier (and spoiled Elven “princess”), had all but demanded they stop in Ferrosia for a drink, in spite of Renfield’s protests. Feeling the balmy chill soothe its way from his throat down into his lungs with a refreshing breath, he decided it wasn’t such a bad idea after all. He nodded his appreciation to Grimmel, his ship’s engineer. The Frost Dwarf grinned wide, slipping his thick gloves back on his hands. Grimmel, with his ever-present rime of ice and ability to chill anything with a touch, was always a favorite when the crew went out drinking.
His first mate, Isis, cuddled the stout engineer without a hint of shame. Not content with just cold drinks, it seemed, the sprightly

“As the spirit wanes, the form appears.” The Old Man said.
They had just crested the last hill before reaching Southaven Cliffs, a town so far South in the great Kingdom of Ferrosia that the edge of town doubled as the edge of the country. This was because the floating land masses that were tethered and bridged together to comprise the so-called “Kingdom of Iron” extended no further. Indeed, a great portion of the town proper was built down along the cliffs and out onto the Empty Sea. To the Armored Man, who gazed at the open expanse of sky that lay beyond the land of his birth, this was, quite literally, the end of the world.
“I’m sorry…?” The Armored man replied, pulling his eyes from the horizon.
“It’s something a very wise man once
TG Youko: To Share Closeness The march through the blizzard had gone on for what felt like a whole day. By the time it had blown over, the sun had set, leaving everything immensely darker and colder than it had been before. As someone who's used to the heat and a muggier climate, this wasn't a happy place for me. For close to an hour we stayed huddled in the dark, occasionally moving to look for others. Things were getting rather glum when we rather literally stumbled upon some Jounin who were building a signal fire. As the responsible eldest sibling, I made sure my younger sisters and brother had duties distributed among them to get things ready. Thanks to this, a camp was promptly set up, and other shinobi soon began trickling in. They were all very cold and miserable as well, but it was heartwarming to see them gathering aroun

Starlight glared at the frost covered walls. He tried to snarl in fury but even the slightest movement was provented by the clamp around his snout. They didn't want a single puff of statlight escaping and drugging the guards. He smiled inwardly. They couldn't contain his light. If anyone were to come in, he would blind them, and then kill them. It was so easy. Starlight's talons itched for another mission for Queen Brisingr to send him on. It was always fun watching dragons lose all sense of purpose, and seeing the way their eyes widened when he temporarily blinded them. Except it wasn't temporary, because he would always kill them long before they could recover.
Then it hit him. Memories flooded in, filling his head with images of all the dragons he'd killed. He saw the color draining from their scales, the way their bodies fell limp and then stifened. He wanted to throw up his front feet, to cover his ears and block out a

Before dozing off however a Charmeleon pokes you from the side, trying to gain your attention, he keeps doing so until he climbs up onto your belly and taunts you even more by doing a dance on it. "Your too lazy to eat me!" He says, still dancing. Your belly then gives off a loud growl, forcing him to stop.
What will you do next?
