A Story, if You Please
10 minutes or so later…
No stories had been told yet as I was just floating there, concentrating and pondering intensely about the next story to tell.
Once I was fed up with waiting I decided to ask, "Um, hello? What kind of story did you want? You haven't told me and I haven't moved yet…"
Anything you want to reveal is fine by me, although after watching that… *ahem* "show" you put on when you died; I'd like to know more about who that sleeping person was.
"Oh him? You want to know about him? He's not really all that interesting to say the least…"
Well tell me anyway.
"…You didn't give me a chance to finish. He's not very interesting and yet I would n
Rise Of Decay Chapter 1: Dead Already?!A/N: Welcome to Rise of Decay! This is my very first published story on FictionPress, so I hope that this is worthy of being on this site. "…'sometimes everything you do will lead to a single, inescapable fate'. Such is this where I, a powerful and intimidating warlord with nothing but the gods to stop me, am reduced to nothing more than a cold, monotonous, insidious existence. I would wish to tell you more about myself, but the truth is… I am currently dead…"

Orbis: PrologueWe open our book of tales to an introduction of sorts. Somewhere in the human world, where you are right now, there is a secret passage that could lead someone to and from a universe that demons inhabit. The last being to know where this passage was, died many years ago. Since then, not a single human or demon has made such a travel between universes. That is, until a certain somebody decided to give it a go.Orbis: Prologue7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
He was a demon feared by most, with tousled black hair and orange eyes to go along with it - he looked far from intimidating, to say the least. But yet, for some odd reason that he couldn't figure out, he intimidated other demons. He had tried to ask them on previous occasions, but they all abandoned him before he could fully open his mouth. Thus, he spent most of his time in his library, reading books in many various genres. If they couldn't bother with him, then he had no plans to bother with them.
One day, he was scanning through the thousands of books that complete
Colour: PreviewSean stared intently at his window, stock still with his shirt dangling loosely in his hand. He was sure he had seen it. Part of his mind suggested that it could have been the sun hitting the wind chime, but another part told him that wind chimes didn’t have wings, and they most certainly did not giggle.Colour: Preview7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
He walked slowly towards his window, amber eyes narrowing as he looked around. The sky was a deep blue, and the grass was a bright green, and the flowers outside his window were just as vibrant as the two combined. There was a sudden tinkling noise, though his wind chime was silent, and suddenly a colourful light flit in front of his eyes. There!
His hand suddenly darted out and caught the small figure, and Sean grinned triumphantly at the little sprite caught in his hands. “Gotcha, you pesky little smidge!” he crowed, and the spring spite huffed and chattered resentfully.
“Sean! Are you messing with the sprites again!” his mother’s voice carried up
The Leaders of the Eras Chapter 4The boy was shorter and pale with freckles dotting his face. He had bright red hair and dark amber eyes. “Can I help you?” the boy asked in a far nicer voice then Rose.
It took effort for Riene to tear her gaze from the boy.
“Listen, this is going to sound crazy, but we traveled very far to find you.” And she held up the compass for him to see as it continued to point to him.
“Is that?” breathed the boy and Riene nodded.
He took the compass and it began to spin and looked to the box that was tied to Riene’s belt.
“The puzzle led you here?” he asked and Riene nodded again.
The boy led Riene and Trouvé inside and let them sit at a small table.
“Why are you bringing them in here? I was about to ask them to leave.” said Rose.
Riene ignored the girl completely as she thanked the boy.
“Merci. May I ask your n

Violet was sitting left of me on the parking block, picking away at golden pieces of chicken. Her legs were stretched before her, held tight by bright red skinny-jeans. How on earth can she live in those? Plaid sand-shoes provided fashion and comfort to her feet (since their to this to do much else) and a black tank preserved what little modesty she cared for. Her tomboyish ways never allowed for trivial matters to be of concern to her, however she was often concerned about making sure her short hair was always the most bizarre of colors. Today its bleached white, though she has promised that it will soon be frosted green. I have honestly never seen the true color of her hair, but that doesn't matter. No matter how insensible her attire may be (and this is
Confined to Shadows VIIIThere were bruises. On my chest and on my throat. They looked much worse on my reflection. I knew that whatever she had wanted she had taken by force. Brushing off my concerns I went back to the room settling on the edge of the bed. His hands clenched and unclenched gripping the sheets. Held firm in a bad dream or perhaps a bad memory. At least he was alive, I guess. Looking away I was pulled harshly back and pinned underneath his slightly larger body. When had he...no, he was still lost in the images in his head. Gray eyes holding a far off expression. The grip on my arms tightened and the pressure of his knee on my lower stomach increased to the point where he was close to breaking me. Pain stole my breath, my thoughts and my words. One hand moved sliding under my shirt nails went straight through the flesh. I kicked and twisted. I got lucky and managed to throw him to the side. He moved and I backhanded him. The awkward angle I was at caused a painful snap of the wrist on impact. GoConfined to Shadows VIII8 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

She was a pretty girl, blessed with an angelic look. Thick curls formed a golden halo around her narrow face. A thin nose sat above soft pink lips, and in between freckled cheeks. Green-blue eyes, so bright that they almost glowed, rested under dark lashes. Her skin was smooth, soft and pale, almost the color of the moon.
The girl stared blankly out the rain soaked window. She had the same dead look in her eye that she had in them since the day of the accident. She had her hands clasped on her lap, sitting on her unmoving legs.
Her mother would often sit in front of her wheelchair, holding her hands. Sometimes, she would tell her about life, and about the world on the other side of the window. Sometimes though, she would cry. She would sob and beg for the girl to look at her or say anything.
“Please,” Her mother would beg, “Just say something!”
One those days, her father would come and wrap his arms around his petite wife. He would hol

Two cloaked figures had travelled a great distance for the one place where they knew that they could find hope. Things had grown significantly worse with each passing day. The rule and command of only one mind, only one famous lord, had gone on for precisely a century. Knowing of the intentions from that mind, a century too long. These cloaked men continued searching long and hard, appearing to wander lost in the city where they had finally stopped. However, there was still energy in one of them, and was desperate to find what they had been searching for.
What the cloaked men searched for, was their assumption of the origin of the way that they always followed. The city was lit, but rather poorly. They were used to going out at night, which it was, and their robes were a black as the night sky, when there were no stars or moon to be seen. There was nothing to guide them, but they needed no guide. It was the faint sound in their minds that would give them that for which they se

"What in the-" This definitely was NOT where she was a moment ago. Not that this was a bad thing.
Alanor sat up slowly with a wince. Rock; beneath her and on all sides- except up, where bright stars barely illuminated the hole she was in.
How did I get here?
She moved to get up, cringing as something bit into her palm- broken glass.
The moon appeared from behind a cloud and brought definition to her surroundings. The walls of her pit were high, pitted and broken by time. Alanor looked around herself for an easy route out. No stairs or ramps, but... Above her was a strange chair silhouetted against the lighter sky behind.

Dedicated to Sarah Lindgren, my bff and muse
The legend of the Princess and Knight was a story that was largely untold because those in power did not want their exploits to be known, to inspire the people that they could rise up and change the world. They were considered a threat by those in power so stories were squashed but this is not about why the story was not told but to tell the truth of the lives of Jurian of the Ursine Moon and Lady Idelisa of Thanesan.
Time moved quickly after they left from the castle, rumors flew about their departure from politic exile to them running away in a fit of love but regardless, they were loved by all for Idelisa’s beauty and Jurian’s strength. A month had passed since they left, traveling together as fiancés and loving life even more now that they were free to be themselves and express their love. They traveled from town to town, listening to stories, taking in mu

“Still here?” She asked. It nodded. Amy slid out of bed, putting on her typical clothes, jeans and a blank red T-Shirt. She straightened herself and unlocked her door, the Glaceon following.
“Today’s the day!” She exclaimed. “I’m gonna meet a former army officer in Café Casse-croûte. He’s my new boyfriend.”
The Glaceon tilted his head at this.
“Yeah, it’s kind of far away.” She replied, acting like she could understand him. Both of them walked down the path, away from the college. Soon enough, they made it to the cafe; the officer in front of the door greeting them.
"Good morning, sweetness!" The officer said with delight. The Glaceon seemed to jolt back at the officer. He was a tall man with military slacks. He had a hell of an upper body, almost too much. He wore a backpack with one yellow pouch- a biochemistry po

The young buck walked along the border, head up and nostrils flaring as he took in all sights, scents, and sounds. Everything was so new to him! And laced with a thrill of anticipation to boot as his hooves tread over pine needles. He wasn’t really supposed to be here, so close to the Blackwood border. Only soldiers were allowed to patrol, and Ayden had only recently been admitted into training…
But he was large, powerful, had a nice first set of antlers, and he had fire magic. He could take on anything!
The red dun kept moving along, being as alert as he could, though unfortunately he wasn’t very silent. Heavy steps made noise, even in the soft pine needles and crisp layer of snow, and coat was clearly visible. He was new to this, rather untrained, but too stubborn and arrogant to realize it.

You laughed, "You're not getting drunk." You stated, "Well you're no fun." He huffed as he took another drink, "Well we can't have you getting drunk and blurting out crap that could get us all killed." Dark stated flatly.
Mark looked at Dark and arched an eyebrow, "Good point." He replied, "We better get upstairs, its starting to get late." You stated, "But we just got here!" Mark whined.
You took a look in Mark's pint, it was almost empty, "And you have had enough to drink good sir." You stated, "No I haven't." He replied, "Yes you have now come on." You said pulling him up from his chair.

"You know I hate being called that, Aqua." River Crystal grumbled, pulling along the huge wagon alone as best he could as the rain poured down into his eyes, making him shiver. He'd been asked to take a shipment of ornamental stones to the next village over in order to exchange them for food and water he'd then bring back to the village he'd just left; what he didn't realize was just how heavy a wagon filled with bags and chests of smooth, shiny river-worn stones could be and how long the trip was going to take, especially through the mud. He slogged through the heavy, cold, almost putrid mud, and finally on the horizon he could see the woo

The next morning, Violet was plotting the next course on a map. She was well aware of Riley standing behind her, watching her intently. What really bugged her was that she didn't know why he was acting that way lately. "It'll take us a while we reach an Island of some sort" she sighed. She leaned back in her chair, craning her head to look up at Riley. "You okay, Riley? You seem edgy" she asked.
She was right; Riley had been a little tense since wondering about his father the other day as well as his confusion about why he was always so worried about Violet. "Cripes, are you always like this?" he asked back.
"Um...yeah" Violet said.
Riley sighed and looked away. "I'm just freakin' worried, ok? Maybe that marine knows who my Father was" he admitted.
Violet stood up and crossed over to Riley. "You're still freaking out over that? Riley, no matter who your father turns out to be, it doesn't change the way I think o

He looked behind him as they continued, and he felt like he shouldn't trust this cat. Maybe I should head back. He thought to himself. After all, who can trust a Night Cat?
Night Cats were incredibly an incredibly strong tribe, even though the leader was getting old. They had bat-like wings and dark colored pelts; it would be rare to see white on one of them. In this case, Nixè had a rare pelt color for her tribe.
"Sky, you're staring into space," Nixè meowed quietly to him. "What's wrong?"
Sky blinked, turning to look at her, still walking. "Nothing." He replied. "I'm just thinking to myself."

"What's the deal with your bed?!" I asked.
"It's a water bed genius." Erin snapped. "Why don't you get your own?"
"I would love to, but since either of you trust me with my own money..." I pointed to a box taped and locked.
"Well why don't you-"
"Shut up you two!" Katherine yelled from inside the kitchen. "Honestly! How I'm I still alive?!"
"I don't know?!" I yelled.
"Die already!" Erin snapped.
"I'm trying too! DWMA is a suicide mission anyway." She muttered in between sips of orange juice. I let myself fall into Erin's bed and my head was overtaken by blankets. My shoulder burned and I was reminded of the injury I gave to Sil. I wanted to cry, and felt so bad. I wish he didn't get in front of me. I wished Soul would pierce my stomach instead.
That's a good a idea. Showing off your black blood.
Shut up you damned demon. I though in my mind.
