The rain had ceased by the time the wagon rolled into the village. The hunters were gathered at the Inn, standing all around its exterior, cheering and laughing at their feat. Arakarth dropped from the wagon and stared across the road at the group of Men, or what remained. Hatred for these men that were boasting about the deaths of two innocent dragons rose in his heart and it began to ache. "Hunters," spat his Uncle, gaining his attention through the morning light. The old Man was loosening the harness on the horse and then began to unpack the goods from the back. "They think they rule over the Village just because they protect us from dragon attacks."
"Have you ever thought that maybe the dragons only attacked," began Arakarth slowly, helping to take all the corn from the back of the wagon to the stand they had set up. "Because they can't get enough food to feed themselves?" The older man chuckled quietly and patted the boy's shoulder

An apple chose the exact worst moment to fall on my head. It fell and bonked me directly on the top of my head. I was just getting into the best part of the book. I closed my book titled The Book of Lies, and prayed a silent prayer to keep from getting a headache.
My head started throbbing so I decided to leave the safety of my hideout in the apple orchard. The trees were dotted with red as I looked down the rows. Our orchard is my father’s pride and joy. He says that it took him three years to see the fruits of his labor. I suppose he messed it up somehow, seeing it took three years. Mom had always said he did thing slowly, but proficiently. He wouldn’t let one bad, bruised apple go on without plucking it.
My garden is in the front. I grow most of our food because we live in the small village of Starlight. It only has about one store, but it’s miles away from our house.
I make it to the minute house before the headache kicks in. Lucki

The Last Hope *Chapter 2*Colour drained from the teen's face as she scrambled in the opposite direction from the noise- However, when Victoria turned around she was greeted by darkness and an astonishing pain in her face. Victoria fell to the ground; It was obvious that someone had knocked her out.The Last Hope *Chapter 2*19 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
When Victoria awoke she found herself restricted by rope, tied to a chair- Brilliant. 'Damn... And I was so close to the smoke as well... This sucks.' She thought to herself. Even though she was captured that didn't mean she was a 'Damsel is distress'- She always hated the idea of being helpless, needing a douche in shining armour to save her- So she looked around the eerily dark and small room, looking for anything to help her escape.
Within the room Victoria could see her trusty backpack, annoyingly just out of reach, and not a lot else. She strained herself to reach the small, tattered bag but her efforts were in vain. Her next plan was to try to untie herself.

“You have given me an insect?”
“No, not an insect.” Caisson said with a frown. “It’s the Cricket. That’s the name of the chip that I gave you.”
“I do not understand…”
Caisson walked to a drawer that was on the other side of the room and pulled it out. He grabbed a carton of cigarettes and pulled one out, using his lighter to light one up. Pinion’s face scrunched at him and Caisson smiled again.
“I see your disapproval for my smoking habit.”
“I… do not approve, no…” Pin said, wondering what was happening. “Father, what is this feeling? What have you done to me?”
“Simple; I’ve given you the ability to feel.”
“Feel? How do you mean?”
“Both ways, if that’s what you mean. You feel on the outside, as in your sensory levels are now alert as well as emotions. Haven’t I ever told yo
Forevermore and Nevermore: Part 3Soon enough he arrived to stretch of land baring the markings of strange outlanders. He curled his lip at the scent and lashed his tail, why did they have to decide to live here of all places? Surely these travelers could have started living somewhere else. Somewhere away from Boss and his land. With a sigh he crossed over the markers, but who were these strangers? They must have heard rumors of the ruthless owner of these lands, so why did they start living here? Were they so strong that they didn’t even have to fear Boss himself?Forevermore and Nevermore: Part 315 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The breeze tore across the dry patch of land and among the soft rustling of tall grass, he could make out soft whispers. All around him, he could hear the endless murmurs. He felt shivers run down his spine, even though the blazing sunlight beamed down on him. He felt the beat of his heart starting to speed up as he tried to locate the owners of the voices.
The grass rustled and Ebony tensed, his hackles beginning to rise. He lowered himself into a cro

“Looks like this is it.” We were pulled up in front of an old house that honestly looked like it hadn’t been inhabited for quite a while. Yellow paint was peeling off the walls and the whole yard was overgrown, giving it a kind of eerie look. The only sign that someone lived there was an old car in the driveway.
Luca stared at me for a while before speaking up. “Are you going in? ‘Cause I am, with or without you.” He started to exit the car before I stopped him.
“Have some sympathy, alright? This is a big thing for me.” I began to follow him out of the car, slamming the door shut. If he wanted to be an ass, then let him be an ass. Fuck if he’d know what it felt like.
We walked up to the front door, and it took me a couple seconds to work up the courage to knock. I didn’t know why I was worrying, though maybe it had to do with my mom’s w
Stolen Chapter 3: AustinWithout even thinking, I jumped off the monkey bars and ran. The loud footsteps behind me indicating that Izzy and Alyssa did the same. I didn’t even bother looking back. When I was just an arm’s reach from her, she opened her mouth as if to say something but I didn’t let her. I closed her mouth with my lips and we were absorbed in a deep kiss. I missed her so much, I wanted to prove to her just how much I missed her.
When we finally pulled apart, we were both breathless. I took a glance over at Izzy and Chris. The second she reached him he picked her up and spun her mid-air. Soon, just like Mary and I, they were absorbed in a kiss. It was the happiest I’ve seen Izzy in months. It was the happiest I’ve been in months. Mary and Chris really needed to have gotten here sooner.
I looked back at the prettiest girl ever and stroked her hair. Her now short hair. Damn, now it was hard to stroke.

Gwynet - 1 Gwyn insisted upon being present when Rurik explained to Ryn how things stood. She had not been to the initiates’ barracks for years, but they looked just the same—two rows of rough wood beds, with a few wash basins along the walls. A new class of initiates would be arriving soon, but for the moment it was empty of all but the three of them.Gwynet - 112 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Ryn moved in for a hug as Gwyn joined her on her bed, in the farthest corner of the room. Gwyn returned the girl’s hug, happy to see her, but with a heart fluttering with worry. Rurik’s anxiety was written all over his face as he sat on the bed opposite them. Ryn read it, too, climbing into his lap and staring him down.
“You promised to tell me what happened last night.”
Rurik sighed and nodded. “First, I need you to know that neither I, nor Gwyn, nor anyone else in the Castle is going to put you in danger.
FAFFL 58: Loch NessLoch Ness was one of those places whose natural beauty and strange magic inspired rumors. And nowhere else had there been a bigger rumor inspired than that of the beast living in Scotland’s frigid waters. Everybody living in the country had heard it before, and the rustic village of Kestrel knew this rumor the most. Kestrel sat half swallowed by the Creag-nan-Eun forest on the Loch’s north shore, made up of a few dark stoned houses, a pier and a single watchtower.FAFFL 58: Loch Ness19 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
It acted as a base camp for people coming from all over Scotland who wanted to catch a glimpse of the monster rumored to dwell underwater. The assassins had managed to find their way here too, but not for sightseeing purposes. Mirage was called away on Sanctuary business and he dragged Sanguine along for some fresh air. Sanguine was unsure at first, but once they hit the open roads his attitude quickly changed. The wild sights and sounds of the Loch enamored him, and he couldn’t wait to reach their bed and b

What seemed to be a simple everyday task, putting on clothes was becoming a hard challenge for George, Natalie, and Julia. An estimation was pondered that they might have gained 40 to 80 lb. while they were sleeping (and dreaming of gorging on delicious food or being back to their original sizes).
George yelled. “Ohh, this is terrible!” He felt uncomfortable with his summer uniform shirt and sweat pants being very tight from his growing midsection and overall figure. Julia and Natalie had very full hourglass figures of large breasts, hips, and stomachs.
Julia murmured, “We best get to the Main Hall to see what’s this all about. If this is a stupid prank from any magic kids who decided to become jokesters, I’m not laugh

“What is it, Father?” Coda asked, his whiskers twitching in curiosity as he and his brother entered their father’s private work area. The writing desk that was usually covered in half-written scrolls and inkwells was unusually cleared. All that rested upon it was a checkered wooden board. The old red fox had turned the desk sideways so that two chairs could sit across from the other. Their father had already taken a seat at one of the chairs, raising a familiar ink-stained paw to beckon them in.
“We are going to play a game,” Arthur said to the two adolescent boys, placing a wooden box that had rested in his lap onto the table. He opened the box and rummaged inside while the young red fox and panther looked on in curiosity.
“What kind of game?” Finn’s ears perked in excitement. He couldn’t recall a time when their father had asked to play a game with them. Usually when they were invited i
Ki part 2: coming to termsWith her father gone, Ki wasn't the happiest little girl, and the things that were being done for her didn't help. Her mother had taken her to a support group for young children with parents divorcing. It was held at a play-group nearby. She entered the tiled room, looking around at the unfamiliar space around her. The woman leading the group was rather tall, though to her, everyone was tall. "Welcome Ki." the woman said, smiling kindly at her. The golden bell hanging from the woman's neck glistened prettily in the artificial light. She was lead into the circle of small plastic chairs, each child older than the last. The woman's black spotted hand held hers gently as she sat Ki down beside a child about her age. Ki smiled awkwardly at him and waved before the woman rang the bell, "It's time for our session to begin." she said, "now, we have a few new members of our family. Let's be sure to pay attention as they speak, Ki, would you like to introduce yourself?" she asked. Ki got up, nerKi part 2: coming to terms18 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Spirit Of The Charizard- PrologueThe Charizard's head snapped to attention, it's massive frame, which towered over remaining boulders, standing directly in front of a large circle of rocks. Inside lay soft, beautiful hay, which was gently disturbed by something twitching. Another Charizard appeared in the distance, it's frame slightly faded by mist, until it finally approached. It landed on the hard, rocky ground, causing the area to shake just a little.Spirit Of The Charizard- Prologue15 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"So, it's finally happening?" The one that had just arrived asked in a gruff, yet somewhat scared voice. Obviously a male one.
The female replied, "Yes. He's been twitching since dawn,". The male watched the tiny figure rustling in the hay: a white egg with splotches of green. "Do you think he's quite alright?" He asked, swishing his tail, which was tipped with a spectacular, glowing flame, like the female's, and shadows danced among the walls.
The female nodded. "He's fine. It usually takes a while for them to emerge,".
The male opened his jaws to say s

You'd think that I'd have brought more money if I am going on a quest that could potentially run over a year. Fool that I am, I don't have much money on me. I'm gonna have to find a way to earn some money before I can continue looking for the blue haired girl. I couldn't afford a horse, so I walked here. Jordan is a small village, and the people are somewhat wary of me. Do I look scary? It's true that I have to duck going in most doorways, and I carry a sword. One that is not for show.
It would be a bad idea to spend the night in the village. I don't need to wake anyone with my nightmares. Last night was awful. I kept waking up screaming and crying. I'm a bit embarrassed about it, but there is nothing to be done about it until I can lay down my sword. At least, I hope that will make the nightmares stop. I will head out tomorrow to the city of Corinth, and look for work. Maybe I'll luck out and be able to unload freight or some other non-violent work... Light

"We can't move on without him," Elania said resting her bow on her knees, "Tirithon ordered us to wait for him her while he goes to the council. We need him to find exactly where your sister is Aranhil."
"Using his bond with her to find Marilla is wrong," Aranhil said angrily, "How would you feel if I did that to you? Wouldn't you feel wronged?"
"That is different," Elania said, "Tirithon and Marilla have not completed their bond, we have. Your sister cannot be left to herself with the forces that hunt her. We need her if we are to win this war and end the cycle."
Aranhil turned in the tree and stared at her. He couldn't believe that she was condoning this.
"I am not going to sacrifice my little sister," Aranhil spat, "She won't be happy that we are
