Meliodic Part IX: EverytimeShe searched his face for some sort of smile or gesture towards sarcasm, but there was none. Melody felt herself internally panic. They had... just met. "Are you joking...?" she asked, still hopelessly confused.
"N- no..." he looked at her gob-smacked expression, "Everytime I see you, my heart beats uncontrollably! When you're near, my chest hurts. I don't know what to do!"
He cried out before running into a nearby bush to hide.
Melody now felt her own heart beating out of control and her stomach was churning. What was she to do about this? She approached that hiding spot of his cautiously, "Ryo..." She stood beside the bush, exhaling heavily. "Come out of there..."
"W-We can work this out together, alright?"
Ryo hesitantly crawled out of his hiding-spot and stood to slowly present himself before the patiently waiting girl. He still attempted to hide his face by moving it to the side, his hands behind his back.

Ryo looked to the side with the most obvious and questionable blushing expression. Not a word could leave his mouth.
Melody slowly released him from her grip and finally took a look at his face. There was something off about him...
"Are... you alright, Ryo?"
The expression was unable to exit his mind. He was speechless. The powerful thumping inside his chest and the aches his heart had been feeling all day. It was all too much...
Ryo snapped his head toward's Melody's, crashing his lips into hers, pulling on the back of her neck with his glasses clenched in his fist.
Melody found herself frozen and unable to even think straight. There was a part of her who liked it... and then there was another part of her that was totally shocked at what was happening. It was this part of her that eventually gave her the willpower to pull away. They wer
Catfish!Silver awoke late afternoon the next day to a loud rumbling in his belly. Opening one eye and yawning, the tom stretched out his sore legs. Somehow he had made his way further up the shore to a much dryer spot, away from the now calm licking tide. Grumbling, Silver slowly stood up and looked around at his newly discovered home. The beach was actually only a slim lining surrounded by a rocky cliff shore. Jungle could be seen a little further off as well. The island seemed to go on forever. His curiosity was teeming. What could be out there? Where there any other survivors? What was the light he had seen the night before?Catfish!7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Silver took a deep whiff of fresh air. It smelled of sea salt and fish. Fish...food...his belly growled at him again. As much as he wanted to explore this new land, the tom knew food had to come first. Slowly, Silver made his way back down to the water line on still shaky legs and pawed at its surface casually. Thankfully, the cold water from the night before had turned
Meliodic Part VII: I'm SorryThroughout the schoolday, Melody found that thoughts of that forest boy were wandering through her head. She even found herself writing his name in one of her classes - only to scribble it out afterwards. She almost jumped from her seat once the last class was over, and somehow her legs took her directly to the Ryo's domain, out of breath and kind of tired from the day's events. At least it was Friday!Meliodic Part VII: I'm Sorry5 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Ryo...?" she said, looking around.
"Melody!" a voice exclaimed from the left as Melody was simultaneously tackled to the ground.
"I- I missed you!" Ryo yelled as if tears would soon sprout, refusing to let go.
Melody felt like she nearly had a heart attack, and it took her a moment to recover. "R-Ryo," she stuttered, regaining herself with a heavy breath. "God damnit! Don't do that ever again..."
She pushed him off a bit, only to fail to do so, before huffing.
"You could've broke something..." like his own neck..
Ryo's eyes widened once more. "I- I'm so sorry!!" he projected

Melody had to break into a mid-sprint halfway through her journey there to make it on time. She swore someone was following her the whole time, but she didn't risk looking back to find out if it were true. Instead, she entered the school, out of breath as she was and went straight to class. Dropping her bag off at her desk, she finally lifted her head to realize that her previous suspicions were correct...
Ryo was stood outside the school gate. His blood red eyes glaring into her distracted visage. Ryo heavily analysed the grounds, though didn't risk stepping upon it. He sat there for around three hours, gazing at the classes that took place. He then began to miss her and went back into the forest to distract his mind.
"What is this ache in my chest..

Ryo woke up beneath the trees by his raccoon. "You like her, don't you?"
Ryo's face became as red as his eyes, "N- no.. o- of course not!" he protested.
"Let's see if she actually comes back." The raccoon giggled, leaving Ryo to sigh in seemingly evermore isolation.
Sure enough, the light crunching of shoes on the ground signalled that she came back. This time, though, she wasn't covered in filth and actually looked approachable. Melody took a few steps through the place she was the day before, trying to remember the boy's name.
R... Rrr... "R... Ryo...?
Melody looked around, briefly glancing at her watch. "Are... you here?"
Ryo peaked around the corner of a tree, "M- Melody?"
Ryo smiled, ignoring the audible beats of his chest as he approached her, "You actually came back."
Melody shrugged her shoulders and gave a yawn, stretching her a

The light drizzle hit the side of the old, stone building, causing small splashes to burst off its surface. It had turned to autumn just recently, but the cold moved in quickly that year. It caused the rather tall man in the overcoat, taking shelter in the building’s shadow, to hunch closer to the doorway. He didn’t mind being wet, but he had never liked being cold. Not that he had to worry about it much. It was a small effort to shrug off the unwanted sensation. It was as natural as breathing to him.
He looked down at the paper he carried, trying to keep it from the rain, and double-checked the address again. “You better had gotten this right, Laramie,” he sighed.
He pressed against the doorway, not bothering with the handle. It was locked anyway. He pressed harder and was rewarded by the sound of steel rending on the other side. Finally, the door buckled and swung open. It clanged hard against the wall, but Terence Bryce pai
Setanta x Dawn part 18"I must inform you that Dawn's so-called guard is in possession of truly abhorable mannerisms. "I request for the benefit of Lady Life that she be in the care of more able-minded individuals- and to seize Pieris the Foul before he brings harm to anyone else."
"Well then- I guess it's settled, yes? I'll tell the higher ups about Pieris tomorrow- For right now-", Simonetti looks toward Dawn, "..Whats underneath your mask? Did he hurt you so much that you have to hide yourself?"
Dawn flinched back- but not enough to the point she hides behind Setanta. Slowly, she reaches her hand up. Grabbing the mask and slowly bringing it down to her side. A black eye, cuts on her cheek and nose, then a busted lip.

Ryo smiled as she tried to pet the raccoon, "He's my companion." He crouched down and let the creature run up his arm and onto his shoulder again. "I don't have many friends." He laughed sarcastically, scratching the back of his head.
Melody's eyes widened a bit. Well, if a person relaxed in the forest and befriended a raccoon, they would seem rather unfriendly and unapproachable... "I know we got off on the wrong foot..." Melody sighed quietly as guilt tugged at her stomach, "but I could... try to be your friend."
Besides, she was curious to see who this guy was...
Ryo's eyes widened.
A- a friend?
He broke the stare into her eyes with a smile of gratitude, "I- I'd like that..."
The insolent brat Melody encountered moments earlier seemed to have vanished, replaced by a boy with a shy and slightly red expression.
Melody hesitated with the sudden change in personality, raising an eyebrow. For a guy lying out in the forest
Halloween Story 2: Either Stay Alive or Die TryingIn a desolated island, the Koopa King himself frustrated that he can't get Peach to marry him, so wanted to devise a plan. He remembered what Peach said to him before Mario defeated him that she would not marry him unless he is the last thing on earth, "This could be it, I'll use this potion that I stole from that black haired guy who tried to kill that one guy," he said pulling a purple liquid in a bottle from... wherever he pulled it out from, "I don't want anybody to know what I'm doing, I just hope that this works as what I think it should," he waited till night time when everyone is not very much active, he went to the graveyard where Nathan's parents were buried and poured the purple liquid onto the ground. He waited for a couple of minutes before his patience ran out, "I knew it, it was just a fake. Time to get to the old, dusty trail and get rid of Mario and his pansy brother Luigi," he left without a trace and head back to his castle on his clown-copter, not knowing that the pHalloween Story 2: Either Stay Alive or Die Trying55 minutes ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

This guy was really... odd... Melody shrugged her shoulders, deciding that she really didn't care but would play along anyway. "Does it matter? ...I'm on my way home." She adjusted her book bag's straps upon her shoulders. "And you know a forest isn't exactly the safest place to lay down for a 'study session'."
There was something peculiar about this girl that Ryo could not put his finger on, "But nature fascinates me," he grinned, calling out and summoning a raccoon upon his shoulder, "meet Lou." he laughed, petting the creature.
Melody stared in fascination as he called a raccoon out of seemingly nowhere, "I can tell..."
She paid more attention to the raccoon itself, and almost leaned down to attempt petting it too.

Melody, said individual, was taking her usual path home when her feet snagged on something - or rather someone - and tripped head over heels, landing her face in a lovely patch of grass, dirt, and bits of mud.
Much to her astonishment, a strange bloke lay on the grass beneath. His eyes were redder than the scattered leaves around him; almost illuminous. His hair was pitch black with traces of scarlet red. It also came across as a greater shock that he, despite Melody tripping over him, remained unharmed and in the same, half-asleep and inanimate state he was in prior to the accident.
Melody uprooted herself from the ground rather irritably, dirt and grass all through her hair and all over her face. Mud was streaked over her face in places
