A/N: This story takes place while I write as closely to canon as possible, and is a take on what happened to Peridot before and after Joy Ride.
-Right before the ending of Jail Break-
Peridot had successfully escaped the hand shaped ship as Amethyst tied her up in her whip using an escape pod. As her ship hurdled down to the blue planet below, she thought, “My chances seems low.”
She was shocked that Steven had resisted the Gem Destabilizer enough to move, let alone withstand it. As she was lost in thought, she crashed into a cornfield right near Beach City.
-Before the events of Joy Ride-
The impact of the crash caused Peridot to hit her head and her gem on the dashboard. That activated the ejector seat sending Peridot flying out of the ship and landed into the cornfield. She was injured from the blow and being launched. She
Spirit World. Ch1. In the capital city of a disgruntled nation, a man sits on a balcony looking out over the night covered city. In the distance he could see the dim predawn light peeking out over the mountain ranges. This world was weird…. The sun rose from the North and depending on the season it could sink back into the north or find its way to the South. The spirit world never played by the same rules as the physical world did; he had learned that many years ago as a child. With a sigh, he looks down at his hands and clenches them gently; they’re covered in scars from years of fighting. Some are pale as the moonlight and others are dark like soot across his sun darkened skin. Memories of how he got them flooded his mind and for a moment he relived the fights, before he pushed the thoughts to one side. He had neither the time nor the desire to relive the past. He had too much on his mind as it now stood. Honestly, he was surprised he hadn’t woken anyone up with hisSpirit World. Ch1. 18 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

"Vampires - on the loose everywhere" said Sicari. "Whether Jerry decides to keep fighting these vampires, or if he decides he and Nancy should join them, we've betrayed them. They told us to kill these vampires ages ago, now look what's happened. The world is at threat. On the other hand, we're basically massacring these vampires, so that doesn't look good either if they're sided with them. The word's going to shit."

Constable Centaur - C5 - Putting On The Serge - P1Depot was really a great place for Jeremiah. He was getting himself in the local newspapers and RCMP officers clamoured to catch a glimpse of the centaur Mountie-in-training. Since the drill sergeant fracas, all drill sergeants were given a warning to take it easy on Jeremiah, and to exempt him from a few parts of the DDT classes that he couldn't do, like stand to attention in under a second and marching in beat with everyone else, which Jeremiah was practicing himself, but was told it was not necessary for him. The fracas had gotten himself more news coverage, a double-edged sword for the RCMP. One side was publicity, and the other was risk of trespassers and criminals trying to get to Jeremiah, now that they knew he existed.Constable Centaur - C5 - Putting On The Serge - P12 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

The young twelve year old girl carried a wooden bowl into the kitchen filled with flour. There was movement in the large stuffy room as slaves hurried around making for the feast that night. She made her way through the operation and found a table that wasn’t occupied. She placed the bowl on the wooden table. An older girl of fifteen came around the table and smoothed her apron out.
“Hello Miriam. Thanks for the flour.” She said and smiled. She took the flour and poured eggs in it. She took a whiskey and began beating it until it was fluffy. She also added other ingredients.
“No problem, Ariella. I’ll be back with more.” The girl with freckles said.
With that, the girl left. Ariella poured the mix into a circle shaped pan and put it in the rusty oven. Miriam was back with two more bowls of flour and they soon had three tiers of cake.
“What colors did she say she wanted?” Miriam

Many ancient buildings stand in the Lochgate capital and are still useable today. The buildings include one hundred twenty stone houses (all of which are holding residents), two stone blacksmiths shops (only the eastern one is used), eight ancient Japanese styled homes (unused except for two), and nineteen stores. The oldest building in Maple City, and in all of Lochgate, is Goldacre.
It's been said the first settlers in Lochgate came from a planet called Goldacre. The Goldies built the stone homes, shops, and possibly Goldacre, which was called NewGate then. Seems like a tall-tale, I know, but it is possible that the Goldies existed at one point. Lochie blood isn't 100% human.

The Persecuted - Chapter 14The foot of the mountain was home to a small village, though calling it an outpost might have been more accurate. There was a shop selling all sorts of supplies that miners coming down from their claims were likely to buy. There was an inn to accommodate any new arrivals, miners looking to spend the winter in more comfort, and to offer drinks to those looking to get drunk. There were a few more buildings for residents who made their living seeing to what ever craft was needed to keep a town like it running. Blacksmith, carpenter, at least those two signs were visible as the group rolled through the muddy street that cut through the huddle of buildings. The Persecuted - Chapter 141 day ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

There I learned from Steven that there is actually no magic swords in this world. Although there are monsters that look like weapons and are able to cast magic. You can also use materials to make weapons, with like a crystal sword for example, but they aren't magical and are mostly just for looks and decorations.
Should I make some experiment on those materials?
So what is that thing then... could it be magic? But how did I invoke it? I took a knife from the house for an experiment.

Chapter 1. The Creature in the Cave
The rain cascaded down the sheer cliff face, creating a gushing water fall over the mouth to a dark, lonely looking cave. As the sound of muffled footsteps grew closer to the seemingly endless ibis, the cave began to look more and more welcoming. The footsteps belong to a stranger to this land, its hunched form hobbling toward the only shelter it had seen since it arrived at the desolate, rain soaked beach. The creature stumbled into the relative shelter of the damp cave, its chest heaved from the effort of lowering itself down onto the moss covered floor. The faint smell of blood seeped from its torn skin and it lay, trying to forget about the pain. The creature soon fell into a much welcomed slumber, where the pain from its tattered wound could no longer be felt.
As dawn broke, the rays of the new sun pierced through the

It had been so long since Cynder had really taken notice of Malefors old fortress. It had been over twenty years since she and Spyro last ventured there to take on the Dark Master. She feared this day would come again, but never would she have thought that her own son would be the one to bring him back.
As she flew with Shadow, she couldn’t help but notice that the scenery had changed quite a bit. Aside from the field that she used to take Phoenus to play in when he was young, a tree line had been formed just miles away from where the belt of fire once stood. The belt had disappeared after Malefor was defeated, his dark magic no longer able to sustain it, and life had begun to return to the once desolate land.
