The Leaders of the Eras Chapter 4The boy was shorter and pale with freckles dotting his face. He had bright red hair and dark amber eyes. He looked physically stronger than Riene, but she was taller. “And probably faster” she thought. The Leaders of the Eras Chapter 44 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“Can I help you?” the boy asked in a far nicer voice then Rose.
It took effort for Riene to tear her gaze from the boy.
“Listen, this is going to sound crazy, but we traveled very far to find you.” And she held up the compass for him to see as it continued to point to him.
“Is that?” breathed the boy and Riene nodded.
He took the compass and it began to spin and looked to the box that was tied to Riene’s belt.
“The puzzle led you here?” he asked and Riene nodded again.
The boy led Riene and Trouvé inside and let them sit at a small table.
“Why are you bringing them in here? I was about to ask them to leave.” said Rose.
Riene ignored the girl completely as she thanked the boy.
“Merci. May I ask your n

She was a pretty girl, blessed with an angelic look. Thick curls formed a golden halo around her narrow face. A thin nose sat above soft pink lips, and in between freckled cheeks. Green-blue eyes, so bright that they almost glowed, rested under dark lashes. Her skin was smooth, soft and pale, almost the color of the moon.
The girl stared blankly out the rain soaked window. She had the same dead look in her eye that she had in them since the day of the accident. She had her hands clasped on her lap, sitting on her unmoving legs.
Her mother would often sit in front of her wheelchair, holding her hands. Sometimes, she would tell her about life, and about the world on the other side of the window. Sometimes though, she would cry. She would sob and beg for the girl to look at her or say anything.
“Please,” Her mother would beg, “Just say something!”
One those days, her father would come and wrap his arms around his petite wife. He would hol

Two cloaked figures had travelled a great distance for the one place where they knew that they could find hope. Things had grown significantly worse with each passing day. The rule and command of only one mind, only one famous lord, had gone on for precisely a century. Knowing of the intentions from that mind, a century too long. These cloaked men continued searching long and hard, appearing to wander lost in the city where they had finally stopped. However, there was still energy in one of them, and was desperate to find what they had been searching for.
What the cloaked men searched for, was their assumption of the origin of the way that they always followed. The city was lit, but rather poorly. They were used to going out at night, which it was, and their robes were a black as the night sky, when there were no stars or moon to be seen. There was nothing to guide them, but they needed no guide. It was the faint sound in their minds that would give them that for which they se

Dedicated to Sarah Lindgren, my bff and muse
The legend of the Princess and Knight was a story that was largely untold because those in power did not want their exploits to be known, to inspire the people that they could rise up and change the world. They were considered a threat by those in power so stories were squashed but this is not about why the story was not told but to tell the truth of the lives of Jurian of the Ursine Moon and Lady Idelisa of Thanesan.
Time moved quickly after they left from the castle, rumors flew about their departure from politic exile to them running away in a fit of love but regardless, they were loved by all for Idelisa’s beauty and Jurian’s strength. A month had passed since they left, traveling together as fiancés and loving life even more now that they were free to be themselves and express their love. They traveled from town to town, listening to stories, taking in mu
Mists of Grey Matter - Part 2 It had been at least a few days since they had first encountered each other, and yet the blonde hadn’t given up on his endeavor. He left when he closed up shop and came back in the morning when it opened. The inn next door must have been the place where he had been staying at to have pulled something like that off. There were no other places close by, and if there was they sure were not half as nice as the the one down this street.Mists of Grey Matter - Part 26 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Vale gave a sigh as he sat back against the tall wooden backing of his seat, spreading his legs out in front of him. What day was this the fourth day that he has had to deal with this. That man was over in the corner just sitting there in protest until he got what he came for. Such a brat. Even when there were customers who came in for their fortunes he was still just sitting there. This was ridiculous how much longer would he hold out for before he would go back home and leave him in peace. He had stated already

Winter, Year 756 of the New Age
The young buck walked along the border, head up and nostrils flaring as he took in all sights, scents, and sounds. Everything was so new to him! And laced with a thrill of anticipation to boot as his hooves tread over pine needles. He wasn’t really supposed to be here, so close to the Blackwood border. Only soldiers were allowed to patrol, and Ayden had only recently been admitted into training…
But he was large, powerful, had a nice first set of antlers, and he had fire magic. He could take on anything!
The red dun kept moving along, being as alert as he could, though unfortunately he wasn’t very silent. Heavy steps made noise, even in the soft pine needles and crisp layer of snow, and coat was clearly visible. He was new to this, rather untrained, but too stubborn and arrogant to realize it.

It was supposed to be a simple walk to the next town over, to the next
village or city of supplies, wares and good food. A simple restocking run,
and perhaps even retirement for a now-aging heavy duty earth pony.
Too bad things are never that easy...
"Come ON, RC!"
"You know I hate being called that, Aqua." River Crystal grumbled, pulling along the huge wagon alone as best he could as the rain poured down into his eyes, making him shiver. He'd been asked to take a shipment of ornamental stones to the next village over in order to exchange them for food and water he'd then bring back to the village he'd just left; what he didn't realize was just how heavy a wagon filled with bags and chests of smooth, shiny river-worn stones could be and how long the trip was going to take, especially through the mud. He slogged through the heavy, cold, almost putrid mud, and finally on the horizon he could see the woo

I sat on Erin's bed. It shifted whenever I moved.
"What's the deal with your bed?!" I asked.
"It's a water bed genius." Erin snapped. "Why don't you get your own?"
"I would love to, but since either of you trust me with my own money..." I pointed to a box taped and locked.
"Well why don't you-"
"Shut up you two!" Katherine yelled from inside the kitchen. "Honestly! How I'm I still alive?!"
"I don't know?!" I yelled.
"Die already!" Erin snapped.
"I'm trying too! DWMA is a suicide mission anyway." She muttered in between sips of orange juice. I let myself fall into Erin's bed and my head was overtaken by blankets. My shoulder burned and I was reminded of the injury I gave to Sil. I wanted to cry, and felt so bad. I wish he didn't get in front of me. I wished Soul would pierce my stomach instead.
That's a good a idea. Showing off your black blood.
Shut up you damned demon. I though in my mind.
The phone rang and Erin picked it up.

Sky walked next to Nixè, his wing feeling absolutely horrible. He looked on ahead, seeing several hills, and behind them was a pine forest. He couldn't see beyond that, which marked the horizon. He looked behind him as they continued, and he felt like he shouldn't trust this cat. Maybe I should head back. He thought to himself. After all, who can trust a Night Cat?
Night Cats were incredibly an incredibly strong tribe, even though the leader was getting old. They had bat-like wings and dark colored pelts; it would be rare to see white on one of them. In this case, Nixè had a rare pelt color for her tribe.
"Sky, you're staring into space," Nixè meowed quietly to him. "What's wrong?"
Sky blinked, turning to look at her, still walking. "Nothing." He replied. "I'm just thinking to myself."
Nixè nodded, and sh

Violet was sitting left of me on the parking block, picking away at golden pieces of chicken. Her legs were stretched before her, held tight by bright red skinny-jeans. How on earth can she live in those? Plaid sand-shoes provided fashion and comfort to her feet (since their to this to do much else) and a black tank preserved what little modesty she cared for. Her tomboyish ways never allowed for trivial matters to be of concern to her, however she was often concerned about making sure her short hair was always the most bizarre of colors. Today its bleached white, though she has promised that it will soon be frosted green. I have honestly never seen the true color of her hair, but that doesn't matter. The dark castle in which is owned by Blackheart was empty, cold, and dead with the exception of the Shadows inside the darkness until Blackheart entered and walked through the hallways in his victory.
"...The deed is now done, and the wielder is no longer. All that remains of his is his body, and the lost focus-" Blackheart said until he stopped, feeling Mass's presence still existing. "What? He still lives? How...Is it possible? Could it...Be because of Aurora and Ultor?" He closed his eyes and kept walking. "I see...Then I shall wait for their arrival if even an ambush will not stop him." He feels all of the shadows nearby, but one in particular was not present to him by some unknown reason; Haruma. "I do not sense him nearby...Perhaps he too has changed paths...No matter...Mass Chokion will be dealt with soon." He stood there and waited while a pair of Red eyes, Haruma's eyes, which as now darker and sinister t

He'd had plenty of time to shower and change when they returned. The orderlies dealt with the inmates, imprisoning them in holding cells deep underground. All but Donovan, with whom he needed to…talk.
He'd had no idea she'd be capable of something like that stunt she'd pulled with the helicopters. Taking down walls required only brute strength; taking down helicopters took a precision he hadn't known she possessed. She probably hadn't known it either, until just then. The woman was even more trouble than he'd bargained for.
She was currently still very unconscious, laid out on a gurney at the center of the room. Sooty, sweaty, filthy, her hair matted and filled with debris -- she looked quite out-of-place in the otherwise tidy room. The light of his (third) desk lamp was muted: he didn't want her seeing anything with clarit

Such is this where I, a powerful and intimidating warlord with nothing but the gods to stop me, am reduced to nothing more than a cold, monotonous, insidious existence.
