Chapter: 14 The Burning of Arendelle
It was early morning and Ada was fast asleep in her snug, cottage bed. Her face was plastered against her pillow as she snored loudly. "Auntie Ada!" cried Herfinn. "Auntie Ada!"
She began to stir as Hilda yelled, "Auntiiiiieeee! Hurry!"
"Wha-" she groaned. "What is it?"
The words brought the old woman to her feet in an instant, "WHAT?!" she scurried downstairs, nearly tripping twice. Downstairs, she found Hilda and Herfinn in their sleepwear, staring out the window and pointing. She pressed her groggy face against the window and gasped. Enormous clouds of black smoke were forming in the distance.
"The kingdom," gasped Ada before grabbing the children. "I don't want either of you going outside!"
"Tomas'll stop the fire!" cheered

Joel heaved the breaths into his lungs as lunged through the giant burly beast. The beast puffed out his chest and Joel cracked his head against its crusted grey chest. He stumbled backwards and the Djinn thwacked him across the room with the back of its gargantuan fist. Joel hit the wall with a thud.
He put his hand to his head. It was bleeding. It stung like fire. His vision was turning red. He felt sick. The Djinn stood there, grunting at him, pounding the ground, challenging him to keep fighting. Joel sighed. “You really don't want to give up, do you?”
The Djinn grinned. It charged forward. Joel was only barely able to hop out of the way before the Djinn ran through the wall. It groaned for a few moments and emerged from the rubble stone faced. Joel laughed and ran at it again, this time with his fists encased in misty blue ice.
He landed a right hook on the beast's jaw and it tumbled away. He slid after it and jabbed it in the gut. It doubled over

This was the first iteration of the finfolk, while I had an idea of these seal people, but hadn’t put them into the Eldrus world yet, and was thinking of doing a different story with them. Here they would have been cannibalistic tribal sea monkeys. Yeah, they are basically sea monkeys, that was literally the title of this document! I mean real life sea monkeys are little… things, nothing like monkeys, biggest disappointment as pets of my childhood!

Bowser and Dr. Eggman were causing trouble once again.
Earlier that morning, Mario and Sonic were out on a walk with their girlfriends, Princess Peach and Amy, and they spotted the villains running off with some loot they must have stolen from the Toad Factory.
Seeing Bowser and Eggman running off in the Egg Mobile, Mario and Sonic chased after them, leaving Peach and Amy worried back in the city.
Mario and Sonic chased after Bowser and Eggman for a bit, until they made it to one of Eggman’s old bases.
“Stop right there!” Sonic shouted at them.
He and Mario had caught up to Bowser and Eggman, and now, the villains were cornered.
“There’s nowhere to run, so give it up!” Mario snapped at Bowser and Eggman.
“He’s right. I guess we give up…” Eggman said with a sigh.
“Or do we…” Bowser said, as he started to pull

‘So you will do what I say and… no questions, right?’ Nathaemis slid the helmet over Elisa’s face and his mouth curled up in a crooked grin as he saw his sister’s big eyes popping under her helmet, filled with question marks. He put on his own helmet himself, letting his hair wave as a dark blond waterfall over his shoulder. That was unusual for him, for he always wore his dark blond, collarbone-length hair tied in a low knot or ponytail. Elisa had squeezed all her hair in a long braid into the helmet. She was the one who shouldn’t get recognized.
‘We will meet my companion at the east side of the guard’s barracks at nine O’clock. We have ten minutes. Come.’ Nathaemis began to walk, straight and supple, like all the other guards. Elisa tried her best to march behind him, straightening her back to come over as much as her older brother. The armor was heavy to wear an

There are just a handful of issues with this. One, Geryon is a giant with three bodies, and was widely considered to be the strongest thing alive (which, to my knowledge, Hercules did not contest.) On top of that, the cattle were guarded by Eurytion, just an average old demigod child of Ares, and the two-headed dog Orthus, who was one of the many monstrous spawn of Echinda and Typhon.
Oh, and not to mention, that the location of Geryon's very special herd of red cattle were located on Erytheia, which was an island way, way, way west of the rest of Greece.
Hercules heads out quick after getting assigned the task. The reason is because the island was so far away from everything else that it was going to take Hercules an incredible long time to get to the location, not to mention

Hatched within the shadow realm, Sadness was named from her bright blue coloring. The crystalline hide was something she was proud of. Never showing her anger, quiet to a fault, one didn't know she was angry until she showed it.
The Kelp Beds was where she was being trained. It was where the strong ruled, the fast swam, and the demons roamed. She was in her element here.
Wonderland watched her with a careful eye. He could sense something off about the dragoness, but he tried to ignore it.

From his cypress perch, Serpens watched the house that had been transformed into a den of snakes with delight. His plan was going to work. While Cynthia struggled at first, once the serpentine influence of Hercules took hold, the reptile within her nearly burst out. The two anacondas had settled into a happy life together. They hunted together every night in the everglades. Serpens happily noticed that his magic had altered the natural order of reptiles. While water monitors and anacondas were naturally solitary creatures these four appeared to have mated for life. Cynthia had even opened her den to other snakes to come and go as they please. Violence between reptiles had stopped. Serpens saw that the jungle inside of Cynthia's house was beginning to push out of the windows. "Someone is going to notice this." He hissed nervously. Was this neighborhood ready, or would they respond with violence?
