A large part of the Guild's success is due to the great amount of care they give to their hunters. They try to make sure that every hunter that goes out in their name safely returns home, at the least, alive. This is made possible thanks to the Felyne Rescue Squad, a group of felynes who are trained in first-aid and extraction of hunters who are in peril.
The FRS is a completely voluntary service with good benefits to the felynes that enlists. Though benefits differ depending on the village, most include some sort of health benefit. However, arguably the biggest benefit to being in the FRS is the amount of human connections a felyne can form during this job, particularly with guild personal. If a felyne ever wanted to work for or be involved with the guild, it was almost necessary to be a part of the FRS.
At first, this job was tasked to other specialized hunters that were trained in stealth and distraction to stay out of sight during a

Domain of the Wolf
Nightfall came with a foreboding gloom, clouds overcasting the land of Vale, obscuring the mountains in a ghostly white. As snow began to fall, Raban waited anxiously on the edges of a branch from an old Aspen tree at the head of the valley, watching the wolves as they retired to their dens one by one. A storm is coming. He shifted uncomfortably, knowing all too well of its impending consequences for those caught within its midst. He found his eyes trailing the northern ledges of the looming mountains before him, until finally, they settled upon the largest hallow at its face. A dark blur appeared in his peripheral vision, adverting his eyes to meet the gaze of the wolf he had been waiting on standing at the fringes of the forest. All of the conditions and preparations had been met. Now it was all up to Raban.
The white raven slung himself from the tree. His

"Where are they going?" I thought, I watched the people who raised me, for two years, walk away. They did not look back, nor did they stop.
"Please wait?" I tried to follow them, but they were in a car and down the road by the time I had made it out of the alley. I was an orphan now.
I walked the streets, cold and alone. I came upon an old building, it was boarded up and only one door. I entered the house and looked around. Old furniture was all that was in there. I could call this home, if I knew I did not already have one. I know they will be back for me, they cannot just leave the boy they raised alone on the streets.
I sat down on a chair and dozed off.
They will be back.
I know it.
One year later.
I awoke on my chair, my blankets were all matted. I was tossing in the night. I got out and looked around for my dinner from last night. I found only the bowl, the rats got to it. Another morning without much food. I walk

As she reached the courtyard, she scanned the crowd for Taphram. As soon as she spotted who she believed to be him, she approached. "Hi." She said with a smile. "You're Taphram, right?"
"That's me," he replied, smiling. "Who are..." He leaned forward, studying her face. It took him a moment to realize he recognized her - she looked so different from the photo. "Melysa? I don't recognize you. You're so pretty!"
Immediately his face went a little red. "I mean, I don't mean you didn't look pretty in the photo, it's just - well..." Melysa blushed, giggling. "Boys always seem to have the same reaction when seeing my in person." She slightly

"Yeah.." Higgsbury said as he got up and followed, leaving the coat in the van.
He hide it away in the back just to be safe and followed after Alice. He still didn't feel safe and being back out in the open wasn't ideal. Quickly he followed after her while trying not to draw attention.
"Sure..pizza..." Higgsbury muttered.
Once back in the apartment, which was a lot more decorated than two days ago, Alice set the bags down in the living room and sat down on the couch.
The second bedroom was where she let Higgsbury stay and moved the couch mattress into there for him.
"I'll be right back. I'm gonna call this pizza in, and the take a quick shower." She said, heading into her room and then into the bathroom.
The First Encounter WF29Lumi could hardly believe her eyes as she gazed at the notice in her trembling hands. Her heart pounded, eyes wide and mouth agape as Luke pointed to the photo with his claw. Just moments ago, he had rushed to her upon returning from his visit to town, a crumpled piece of paper in his hand that he had torn from the notice board at the Trading Post. Lumi cleared her throat and straightened up, tucking a stray strand of blonde hair behind her ear. She folded the paper and stuffed in impatiently into her pocket. "Then there's no time to loose! Help me saddle up Arkana!" With that, the two trotted across the property to call in the tawny half-mane, a gentle but tough Tokota. She would be perfect for this task.
Arkana wagged her tail excitedly as Lumi and Luke led her to the barn

Gardens of Elysia, Saraph Territory
Vaelan wandered aimlessly around the central part of The Gardens, near the sacred Pools where over pricing merchants and slavers were quite common. He was having trouble finding any work the past week and his physical condition was starting to show it. The slave watched as a couple well known slavers paraded around with their ‘items’....
To be honest, Vaelan hated the slave trade and wished he had nothing to do with it. But such was not the way of the world. Unfortunately. ”Oh well, at least i won’t be starved to death if I join one…” he thought grudgingly.

Neatly, she guided him alongside the gate, leaning over to unlatch it and backing him to swing it open before clicking her tongue and urging him through, pulling it shut behind them. Breaking the IceWhile he had taken Goloris to go fishing, he hadn’t taken Achak. Compared to hunting, Ginko was a fishing God. After meeting a nice guy named Jay, who apparently could shape shift. Ginko had heard of such magic before, but had never dared to try it. They had met about a mile from a large lake, and had let their tokotas meet. Achak had been weary of Dogmeat, both the tokota and the owner giving off a strong personality. When Ginko had met Jay, he had been kind of fearful, but also felt like Jay could fuck someone up if Ginko needed it. It might have been Ginko that had pushed the idea onto the other, but either way they were going to fish together.Breaking the Ice4 hours ago in Short Stories

He was often much more busy with other more important things, tokotas weren't his thing really, until his father came barreling into the house one day completely excited and enthusiastic about one of these tokotas. The Stormborn GirlShe whirled into my life like a winter breeze through an open window, deciding she should grace me with her presence for a few days. She smelled of pine and aspen, and she wore nothing except a polar bear skin around her pale, bare body. Upon her head of long silver hair sat a crown made of twigs, flowers, and leaves with two large moose antlers jutting out of either side. As I sat at the kitchen table watching her dance around to the old Christmas music pouring out of my radio, I wonder how they don't fall off; I wonder how her crown doesn't scratch her soft face. The Stormborn Girl5 hours ago in Short Stories

Dire Lune Well this was a stupid idea. Takael kicked his feet dredging deep tracks through the snow. This is ridiculous. He had often left Ashildar's side while out in the wildlands, allowing the big oaf to hunt on his own. He had always come back within a few hours. Even if he didn't catch anything. The morning had already passed and the last rays of sunlight were becoming twilight. No Ashildar. Not even a sign of him. Takael had acted stupidly. When Ash hadn't come back in a few hours he had done nothing. He didn't follow Ash' tracks, he didn't decide to hike out alone, and he didn't even try to make a shelter! No he had sat around on his bum all afternoon, sketching on his notebook. The winter air was growing colder by the second, and not just by a few degrees. Takael was lucky so far, the sky was clear, hopefully no sudden snowstorms would drop on his head and freeze him to death. At the distant edge of the clearing movement caught Takael's eye. It's been little less than a year since I have seen my mother and father, she thought in her head, this will definitely be rather awkward.
