Rite of Fortitude (Finduilas/Clever Girl/Sephyra)So begins another day. Unlike the last one in which Naasir and Finduilas had a rather pleasant day to spend hunting Walrus, the dark clouds overhead threatened to make their next rite a bit more of a challenge. The forecast called for thunder and maybe a few crackles of lightning. Something the young man didn’t really want to deal with when it came to this particular rite. He and his mount would be outside for awhile. The next five days Naasir and mount Finduilas would be traversing through the wilderness in an attempt to local totems and figure out where the finish line was located. Each totem would lead them to where they had to go. Once they crossed the finish line, they would pass the second rite and move onto the last portion of their struggles. However, there was also a time limit to this rite. Five days was the allotted time that they had been given and if those five days were up before they finished than they would have to do the whole thing over again. one sunny day in the town of London, princess tutu was helping caroline, Cassidy and Rapunzel prepare for one of their closest friends, Amanda's birthday. as they were preparing, Cassidy said, "hey caroline, what's this big surprise you had for miss Amanda? I'm dying to know." caroline giggled and responded, "well, if I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise. am I right, princess tutu?" tutu said, "of course. but what I can tell you, is that Amanda's going to see a very fun group of ballerinas who love hopper balls. speaking of hoppity hops, caroline, where would you like me to put the pink hoppity hop?" caroline looked up to princess tutu and said, "hmm, how about over there. that way, Amanda can see it the moment she walks in." so princess tutu did as caroline said and put the pink hopper ball by the front door. after all the preparations were made, Rapunzel said, "OMG, I cant wait to see Amanda's face when s

Spring, Year 764 of the New Age
"Continue ahead, give me a moment."
"I said continue! That is an order Guardsman."
Cadeyrn watched the young guard scurry away, a few nervous glances thrown back at him as he growled out of irritation. Foolish bucks, they should learn how to think for themselves but instead they continued to expect him to make every decision for him.
And he just couldn't do that. Not when...not when she lingered just out of view at all times, his tired mind playing tricks on him. He couldn't think properly and at the same time he had to do his duty towards the herd. He was a knight now, and though it might just be a fancy title to brag about Cadeyrn knew that the general population would expect him to be a good leader, to do his job to the best of his abilities.

OC Special: MonstersShe was knocked against the wall of the room, before she fell down to the ground. She looked up at the woman, who was still standing on the other side of the room, calm, with an ice cold stare in her blue eyes. the young girl, who seemed to be around 8 years old, stood up. She too wore a black dress, but had long golden blond hair which reached the bottom of her neck. her mother frowned, ‘if you have time and energy to waste words, better spend it on training!’ in the blink of an eye, the woman had reached her daughter, grabbed her shoulder and turned around, throwing the young girl to the

There was one good thing about taking work from the leasing office; you always got a new story to tell. Whether it was a good or a bad story depended entirely on what the job was.
Fishlegs had taken this posting for something to do while Leroy was training up the latest pups on their estate. He was quite a bit older and larger than he'd once been, and fully trusted to be out and about on his own, though he didn't quite have the right temperament for helping out with training. Maybe his handler just remembered all the trouble he had gotten into as a pup. Leroy wouldn't want them to follow in his footsteps, after all, and thinking back on some of those misadventures Fishlegs couldn't exactly blame him.
Instead, he focused on his new friend and the Leasing Office in town, which always had something interesting
College writing, We Were All DeceivedWe were all deceived. Well, I suppose there were some that actually understood what they were getting to, and wanted to support Lucifer anyway. For most of us, though, we were angels--literally. We might have been a bit rebellious, sure. There were those of us who wanted a change of pace, or maybe just a bit more glory going to us rather than Him Almighty. There were others who followed Lucifer because he had authority, charisma, a winning smile; we followed him because it seemed like the right thing to do at the time, following the orders of such a respected and well-known angel. We followed his orders, even when they started getting a little iffy. And he wanted to do something different, he wanted to make a change. He gathered a third of heaven's angels--that's us, his loyal, uninformed, deceived followers.College writing, We Were All Deceived16 hours ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes

Early Spring, Year 762 of the New Age
Blackwood, East of the Proving Grounds
I had only heightened my possession abilities to a low level by that time - and had barely even started on the enthralling that I pursue these days - but those small bits of magic served me well nonetheless.
I'd ventured from my superiors early that morning, eager to push the mission that was my Coming Of Age into action. I can still feel my pelt prickling with the excitement as if I’d submerged me in a pool of icy water. I was young yet, but tired of being treated that way. I was wise beyond my years, and bored of being seen as a fawn. It was time I took my place among the herds as an adult, a member that the other members of our land saw instead of looked past.

The large crocodile pokemon laughed at this tiny creature swinging a sword in his face. Lashing his tail Hank bellowed.
“You? A pipsqueak like you thinks you can defeat me!?” The Krookodile roars and stomps his feet sending tremors through the ground. Aramis can feel the emotions of the giant lizard. They are unpleasant, the Krookodile is arrogant and slightly insulted it seems. Though a growing tinge of amused cruelty started to blanket the creatures thoughts.

I was on my way to new bark town to get my first Pokémon from professor elm. I was going through route 29 from violate city when the weather started darkening and I heard thunder cracking. I was maybe half way there when the rain hit and it hit hard. It took little no time at all for me to be soaked and I started having trouble seeing where I was going. luckily I’d made this walk several times and I knew there was a small cave in the area that I had discovered but never went into. I had almost reached it when I scrapped my knee really badly after tripping on a tree root. It hurt a lot causing me to cry but I had to keep moving. the cold rain numbed my entire body including my knee as I kept moving. When I reached the cave I was happy to know it was empty. The only thing was at the deepest point there was a circular lake in the middle and the edges had grass and some brushes. It was then the cold stopped numbin
~W3: Ezelia Caije RP: So Much for Hall Buddies~It was nearing midday and already Caije was out wandering the halls. He had been all prepared to begin analyzing and re-organizing his recent notes and information on his recent 'subjects', but had managed to hit a rather intriguing set of thoughts. Unable to focus, and for the moment unable to seek out his subjects themselves, he had taken to the halls to ponder over the matters. Curiosities occurring between his two newest subjects buzzing in his mind so much he had once more neglected to take proper notice of where he was going. "Mia, are you ready?" A voice called from the hall behind me. I pulled my brown hair back into a short ponytail and examined my reflection in the vanity mirror. A stern faced woman stared back, hardened from years of training and prepared for the trials ahead. It was the last day of The Crown, and the previous events were grueling to say the least. There have been dozens of injuries, and even an accidental death. But there are always risks when it comes to an event like this. With tensions between us and the humans on the rise, a new leader must be chosen to lead dragons to victory, and only the best will do. Good thing I'm here.
"And I will win," I grinned at my reflection.
"Is that a yes?" Caillermon stood in the doorway, her emerald eyes shining mischievously, "And don't think for a second I'm going to go easy on you today. That crown isn't yours until it's on your head."
I grabbed her wrist and led her dow

Her Ladyship's Order (Part 2/4): Human CustomsGray was one of Tanya's favorite colors, the color of the top underneath her jacket and the overcast sky above her. She found the rays of the sun to be an eye-searing eye-sore, precisely the reason why she wore sunglasses when the sun shone full blast. It was even more irritating on warmer days since sun usually meant heat, and Tanya didn't like having to part ways with her leather jacket. Many of the feet belonged to business workers on lunch break or mothers and their children, all of them strolling under the dreary afternoon sky. A few older women grumbled about the drab weather, gripping their furry overcoats and griping over the frigid wind. Tanya watched a pudgy little boy run around merrily in nothing more than a sports
Something newChris stepped carefully on the shifting surface of the sand, her feet sinking into the warm particles of dry dirt as she walked along. Occasionally, she would bend down and pick up a small shell, spin it in her hands, and decide if it was worthy of keeping. If it was, she would add it to a small plastic bag at her side and continue on. If not, she tossed it back into the ocean so that a fish or other creature could find some use in it. it had been a while since Chris found herself able to just take a bit of time for herself and relax, which was nice. Eventually though, the brunette's eyes landed on a small creature squirming ahead in the sand, and she quickened her pace. Let me In - Round 2Lamaya has never felt as ill as she does when she wakes up. Body trembling, she suddenly wakes up by a series of violent lurches in her stomach. Her head spins as she tries to sit up; however, she is bound to the bed she was lying on. She becomes desperate as her body spasms and heats up from the stress. She has to rock forward heavily once, twice, three times before the two restraints restricting her torso let out a loud snap as they break. This gives her enough leeway to bend over as the contents of her stomach forces itself out through her mouth and nose before splattering on the white tiled floor. Coughing painfully, her stomach empties itself two more times before calming down. Lamaya pants heavily as she rolls back on the bed and closes her eyes. Her throat and nose burn and she smells repugnant, but at least the worst is over. MeetingShe greeted him quietly, with only a slight nod, and her mouth not moving at all. The first thing he noticed about the girl was her eyes, almost a pure white, with only the slightest hints of blue. Even from his young age, only about 10, he knew the implications--if not the very meaning--of those eyes. It would be an understatement to say he was surprised to see her in such a place, in such a bad way. The only thing that he could figure was that she had been here since the beginning of her life, that she had hid away whenever someone had come in. Why else would such a treasure still be here?Meeting14 hours ago in Short Stories

Just as he had been taught, he would have avoided her, not gotten close to her, but the girl had other ideas.

They noticed that Aradis was covered in blood. “Are you alright, boy? Are you hurt?”
Aradis silently stared at them. Then his expression changed into a smile when he noticed that they had realized he was the one responsible for the village’s demise.
“How could you attack an innocent village?!” they demanded.
Aradis’ smile vanished. “Do you honestly believe this village was innocent?” he snapped.
The men said nothing, but he could hear their thoughts. They did not understand why he would destroy this pathetic village. “Stupid humans…” he muttered to himself.
