She is Free Father kicked her out. Snow blanketed the ground and he threw her out without a second thought. The bitter wind burned my cheeks as I tried to find her. “Molly,” I yelled but my voice echoed back across the acres of land. The cold made my throat dry and, before long, my voice was cracked when I called her name. She is Free3 hours ago in Short Stories
Our empty land was coated with a glittering blanket of pure white. I squinted as I looked across the land. There were sprouts where the bare tree popped through the snow. Where our land met the tree line, the trees were being weighed down with the massive snow from the night before. As I worked my way farther out from the house, checking barns and sheds, I found only footsteps of her.
Clouds slowly filled the sky, dampening my search. I had lost track of time. I trudged back through the snow which slid and crunched under my boots. My boots were too big b

Before she could get her mom off the phone, her mom gave her words of advice. Samantha rolled her eyes. Her mom continued with inspiring words of wisdom. She babbled on about her younger sister Elizabeth coming to visit next week, or two, and how she can’t wait to see her and the baby. There was a quick mention of something about her dad.
With simple agreements, her mom thought she was engaged in the conversation and not focused on the newly planted flowers in front of the house. Finally, her mom needed to go. She told her how much she loved her before a click brought Sama

Thistleheart and Bluestep were...lucky in a way. While they felt discluded from the happy faces before them, they also hadn’t suffered as much loss as many of their clanmates had had to. Being discluded, Thistleheart decided, was worth it in this case.
At least, he liked to think he was discluded. But when a small kitten, less than 3 moons old, materialized from the waterfall, he felt his heart drop. Bluestep seemed to stiffen beside him. Dark-kit. Their brother, their littermate, gone before his time.
The siblings could be easily spotted, further away from the falls than the rest. They frantically searched out their mother because, really, she was the only cat who would recognize the little tom. They spotted her, nestled into Foxsp
Goodnight Or Goodbye?A young girl, brown hair and blue eyes sat at the window in a classroom, hearing nothing the other kids said about her. All she heard were the voices that screamed at her from inside. She heard the bell ring as she walked to outside. Her Dad picked her up outside. She got home as he walked out the door to the house next door as she smiled and said for him to be safe and a short,'I love you,Daddy,' before loading the gun as he left. She aimed it at her heart as a friend called. It was now 11:41 PM. She said goodnight and hung up the phone with a short whimper at the end from the tears accidentally spilling like a flood. She aimed the gun at her heart and aimed for the middle. Her last breath was helping a friend who had tried to do what she had just succeeded at doing.Goodnight Or Goodbye?3 days ago in Short Stories

“Annie...err...it's...do you...I...“ He was standing in the kitchen, his eyes fixed on a small book. Onion, it said, in his wife's elegant handwriting. He had been standing there for over an hour, reading the lines again and again, before deciding to call his daughter on the phone. Onion, potatoes, sweet pepper, carrots, ginger... All ingredients neatly written down, but no hint on how much or what to do with them whatsoever.
“Is something wrong with Mom? Is she alright?” Annie asked, breaking the silence with a distressed, high-pitched voice.
“She's fine, I mean, she obviously is not, she's in the hospital...”
“I know that. Did they call you? Did anything happen?”
“No, no, it's not about Mom, well it is, but no...she can't walk, what could possibly happen?” he asked absent-minded, sunken back into the enigma of his wife's recipe book. Vegetable broth, coconut milk, red lentils...

Chapter 4: "To Ashes"
The heavy, anticipating silence that flooded the air was almost unbearable. Her perception of time altered once more, the moment seemed to last an eternity. The dark voice that had reached her was of a stranger, and panic soon stole away her fragile peace. Deep brown eyes stared widely at the ground, muscles frozen as she was enveloped by the sound of her own heartbeat. Keavy knew thhe the moment she raised her head, she could no longer take comfort in uncertainty. If she looked up, she would find out the truth about this newcomer and thus his intentions. For her experiences so far, she was inclined not to believe samaritans existed in such a place… But for now, she could fool herself in to thinking a saviour was before her in the brief naivety.
The doe’s brows creased deeply over her eyes. She was no fool.
Slowly, her gaze raised to firmly lock eyes with the stranger. A look weighted with the

"It was Sunday. I was sitting in the window. Watching the sky and the yard. The view from my room faces the backyard. It was tiny. A tree, a few flowers, cover for the tank and washing machine, clothesline.
It had grass. It had birds. Oh, how i hate birds! Stupid and dumb animals. People love them. But , i hate them. Who loves birds is because they never took a peck. So , i prefer rabbits. They don't peck and are cuddly.
And the butterflies. They are beautiful, delicate, short life . They are like ghouls trying to blend into human society. The slightest slip, a hug and goodbye. I always loved butterflies. All i wanted was for my kagunes were like butterfly wings. But , unfortunately, i will never be. My ukaku has only one side because it is incomplete.
At least, if i can not be a butterfly,i t can be a rabbit. I have soft hair, i am small and fast. My boyfriend tells me i 'm his bunny . I consider it a compliment. It's cool to be a rabbit.

all that we had is gone.
Your words mean the same as your commitment.
You speak for us,
when you really just speaking for yourself.
Did you even know the real me?
Or just the version you wanted me to be.
I've outgrown you.
I've missed us,
but I've missed my freedom more.
I can hear myself think.
I see the game that was played.
I feel the love that was wasted.
Regrets are child's play,
it happens, it always does.
But why waste time on something long gone.
Childhood"Noah—hey, get up." Richard's deep, perpetually gruff voice brought Noah's hazy attention to him. The tank of a man was stooped over Noah in his bed, his icy blue gaze suggesting he had been trying to wake the boy up for some time now.Childhood6 days ago in Short Stories
"'m up," Noah managed to mutter as he lazily pushed himself up and ran a hand through his haphazardly bleached curls.
"You said that twenty minutes ago."
He couldn't recall. In a yawn, Noah asked the man, "What time is it?"
The number alone woke the boy up well enough as he asked incredulously, "At night?" He looked towards the window, partially covered by tattered blue curtains, to see what could easily have been dusk approaching.
Just as quickly, Noah reverted back into a tired stupor and flopped his head back onto his pillow, drawing up the blankets as Richard took hold to stop him from doing so. "Richard," He griped, "This is bullshit."
"I know," Richard nodded with all the patienc

Her mother put down the romance novel she was reading "Wait a minute there Glory. You know I don't like Sammy. She always rubs me the wrong way."
"She doesn't do it on purpose." said Gloria "Nobody else hangs out with her, and if I don't than who will?"
"Well, be careful around her. Remember that time when you went to the flea market and Sammy didn't have enough money? You lost five dollars helping her pay for her teapot that day."
"She paid me back." Gloria said defensively.
"Yeah, after two months and one phone call from me." Mom replied "How about that time you went to the haunted house and had to leave early because it was too scary for her? Or that time you

Alchemy blinked awake in the dim sunlight shining into the den, she looked about, she spent most of her nights alone in the nursery, but she didn't mind. Thus she made her way towards the jaguar who had been nursing new cubs that had been born a week before! Neither had made much trouble, until now.
She crept her way over to the sleeping Jaguar, poking at the Ambriel cub quietly. "Psst!"
Wildfire-Tama (Ambriel) said the following:
Ambriel woke to a paw prodding at her side. ”Mmmph?” the young she-cat murmured, opening her pale green eyes to meet the deep purple gaze of another cub. She withdrew her head in shock, bumping her sister lightly, but luckily it did not wake her. She blinked in confusion at the cub. ”What is it? Who are you?&
