Pregnancy and parenthoodFloortje van Rossem (18) was a sweet girl. She had loving parents and got high grades in school. She was also in a loving relationship with her Swedish boyfriend Göran Almstedt (21). One day, Floortje appeared to be pregnant by him. When he heard that, Göran got furious and said: "Do you really think that I want to have a child with you! I'm not that stupid!" Immediately, he went away, leaving Floortje behind in tears. Since that day, almost everyone regarded Floortje as an outsider. Her friends turned their backs on her, school didn't go well anymore; her life was turned upside down. Luckily, her family supported her, especially during the birth of her daughter. She named her Sara and raised her up with the help of her parents. Two weeks later, Göran returned. He told Floortje that back then, he wasn't ready to be a father and that it happened too fast. He also had a huge amount of regret that he bailed on Floortje and asked her for forgiveness and a second chance. ThisPregnancy and parenthood16 hours ago in Short Stories

There was an aura of anxiousness hanging through the air. It was a Friday afternoon and 10 year old Jenny was at home with just her 15 year old brother Daniel for the weekend as their parents went to a wedding. She couldn’t have friends over when her parents were gone, and Daniel never wanted to play with her. This time she had something that could help with that problem. She had a bit of an odd friend named Alexis that gave her a solution. Alexis said she knew how to hypnotize people and taught Jenny the skill. Jenny was a bit skeptical, but she had nothing to lose.
She knocked on her brother’s door to ask if he wanted to play. Daniel responded with “I got homework to do; I can’t play your little girl games right now.” Jenny knew he would say no and decided to go with plan b. She needed to get him to let her test it out to see if it works. “My friend says that you can hypnotize anyone. Will you let me try it out on you?&
A Holiday Tale“What do you mean you don’t want to take the throne?!!” Queen Darla Chalice was furious with her daughter. Blossom Chalice spoke up again, this time her voice was stronger and steadier. “I can’t marry him and be queen so I am stepping down and letting Mystic take my place.” Darla gasped. “Blossom think about what you’re doing! What will the kingdom say?!! MY oldest daughter running off with a Holiday! A seasonal performer that is not even a horse..But a bear! A carnivore! This is the scandal of the century! Please reconsider!!” “Mother I love him.” Darla raised an eyebrow. “Are-Are you sure?” Blossom nodded. “I wouldn’t be doing this if I wasn’t 100% sure.” Darla sighed. “Well...I can’t tell you not to feel something Blossom. If this is what you really want I won’t stop you.” Blossom smiled and put her forelegs around her mother’s neck. “ThankA Holiday Tale3 days ago in Short Stories

Ci passavo e ci pensavo spesso.
"Qui" mi dicevo "Qui è dove è morto papà".
Non so bene che sensazione provassi. È passato tanto di quel tempo. Quasi vent'anni.
E oggi come allora, ci ripenso.

Aqua decided to call in sick today. She needed to get into the ocean. She pulled out her light glasses, took everything not water proof off of her person, turned her cell phone off, and got out of apartment.
The ocean, once upon a time, was all she knew. It was early fall, very little people want to visit a cold sea on a cold day. She stepped into the ocean foam one foot at a time. It wasn't cold to her, it was warm and inviting, asking her to swim in its depths like she did ages ago. Soon the sand turned to rock and gravel and she was in the sea waist deep. She didn't care if anyone was looking. She dived right in.
"Wings for a tail." She whispered under the water and as she commanded, Her feet began to stick together and the familiar sensation of her fins came back again. They were so delicate yet strong enough to brave the strongest currents. Feet were only good for land, but fins never let her down like her weak legs.
She swam down to a nice smooth rock and put on her light glasses

Then she began crying, frantically pacing the room back and forth, and playing with her red hair, repeatedly wringing it out and pulling on it nervously.
Then Jackson came down the stairs and saw the tears flooding from her eyes, "whoa whoa Hollie!" he said quickly walking over to her and wrapping her up in his arms, "what's wrong?" He asked lightly wiping her tears with his thumb.
"Jackson!!" She cried harder hugging him tightly, she stuffed her face into
Mother is HappyHer heart beat in her throat. Seven years old. The age made mother cry, she knew. So old where have I been is all she'd say, but the child riding in the car could only think of where she herself had been. Eyes that were the only thing left of where she came from, those stared out the window, deep in thought. Mother was an object in her mind. These people she lived with referred to the broken lady that looked like her as her mother but it was difficult to see her that way. Still, they took her down to the ice cream shop once a month. She was hospitalized and mother hadn't been allowed to see her.

Her father got up from his swivel seat and marched over to Cinder’s room. Opening up the door he looked at his daughter, “Cinder get off that tablet!” he barked at her ripping the tablet

We can also communicate with each other through telepathy, but I’ll get to that later.
We’re each other’s best friend, and have been pretty much inseparable since birth considering we were even born holding hands.
We were born on May 21st, which is kind of ironic considering that makes us Gemini, aka, the twins.
Because we’re twins, we’ve always shared; birthday parties, rooms, clothes, friends, food, books, video games, Netflix accounts, everything.
We’ve never minded.
It was just a fact of life for us.
I, Katherine, share with Cae, and he, Caiden, shares with me.
Ever since we were little, I’ve always hung out with him and his guy friends, and he’s always hung out with me and my girl friends.
I remember once when we were ten, he was so excited about going to our friend Ricky’s birthday because they were gonna go to Dave & Busters.
Instantly, I got excited too, b

“We can’t keep putting her through this! Look at what keeps happening, Mel!” It was a couple days after Lorrie had woken up and I was inside Mel’s room. She sat at her oak desk signing documents and reading over laws in the old language. As the head of the Royal Protection Force and a leader of this fair country by Vampiric Law, Melissa Carter was indeed a very busy woman.
Mel had personally taken care of me when I had been injured by my now deceased childhood friend. She was a Registered Nurse in the modern world and at the same time she had taken on three apprentices to get ready for a war that was about to start. Mel was a good person, but that didn’t mean that she didn’t have the brain or the brawn to back herself up. Normally, whatever she said was law.

Apparently their mother had taken online self-defense classes and had attacked their cat (Sprinkles) when she caught him "sneaking around behind her" then she was arrested because she called the police over to the house and then punched one of them to "try out her new skills on experienced people".
You might ask :where was John when all this was happening?
He was, in fact, filming the whole thing and then uploaded it to his YouTube and tumblr account with the name: # MyMomsSoCrazyEvenThePoliceCantDeal.
And where was Ned?
He was at the supermarket buying something for the three of them to eat at home.
He was only gone for ten minutes.
Well, do they have any other crazy family members?
Not at the moment, the last time they saw their father they were on a family outing at the zoo but, they did get a call from someone who sounded like him. Although the call came from Egypt. There's no way that it's him right? I mean, wh

A face appeared in the doorway separating the kitchen and living room of the old manor, where Zora’s mate, a grey jackal stepped out. “Hey,” he said, his voice quiet yet concerned. This was a normal occurrence for Zora and her mother to argue over the phone, and it never ended well.
The bat looked over at El and sighed. “Hey,” she said, turning around and flopping on the couch. “Sorry about all the yelling.”
The jackal made his way out of the doorway, sitting next to his mate and pulling her into a hug. After what seemed like ages, he pulled away, holding her by the shoulders. “Wanna ta

In a car headed to Gloria Springs, Maddie was sitting back, not with a care in the world, as she had some headphones on, with some hard rock music blaring from them. The Social Care worker glanced at the troubled tween, as she continued to drive.
“Maddie, I hope you don't screw this one up...” The Social Care worker sighed out loud. “You got potential, and yet, you're doing this and that… What brought all of this on?”
But Maddie wasn't listening, as she blew a bubble from her bubblegum.
“Maddie, hello?” The Social Care worker asked again. “Are you even listening to me?”
She then yanked the cord from the headphone jack, causing the music to turn off from Maddie's earphones.
“Ugh, I was getting to the best song in this set!” Maddie complained.
“Look, I just want you to listen to me! I want you to please… Be good for your newer foster family. I don't want to see you locked up in Juvie. You're more than that!

Sometimes, one simple person can do something that helps change our life around. And for one person, this is one of those times. This is the tale of one Maddie Footsies, and how she grew into the energetic and kind mom we see today.
In the year 1985, a young, brunette girl was sitting outside a zoo gift shop, looking down at her feet. Her name was Maddie, and she looked sad.
“Man… Everyone can get to buy a souvenir… Yet, I can't...” Maddie lamented.
She sat down at a bench, to wait for the rest of the class, when an older lady, wheeling a cart, approached her.
“Aww… You doing okay?” The older lady asked.
“Well, the rest of the class gets to buy a souvenir, yet… I can't.” Maddie complained. “All because my mom and dad said so!”
“There, there...” The older lady said, comforting the young girl.

All I remember was running. From what? I had no clue. I just had to get away. I whipped back and forth, left and right as my body ached from moving so quickly. I breathed heavily. Cold air around me making my insides nearly freeze over. My feet were icy cold and made me really uncomfortable. I turned around to look behind me as I scrambled as quickly as I could forwards. All I saw was a bright thing, slowly getting brighter and brighter. All hair stood on end. What...what was it? Why was it chasing me? What did I do to deserve this?
Looking back was a bad idea. As soon as I turned my head back to face forwards, a huge boulder sprung itself up and out of the ground. I gasped as both of my front legs slammed into it. I flipped and hit the ground. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I looked around me, confused and disoriented as I tried to gather my thoughts together. I looked down to what seemed to be a large pool of..something.
Letting GoA cigarette, a lighter, and a spark lit the twilight. The lamp swaying over their heads had stopped working long before they came, settling for a sweeping shadow instead. Beneath it, a sheet of dust saturated the table, and through the grimy glass, hungry fingers of sunlight searched desultory menus not worth a glimpse. The sun burned furiously. But it was not what anyone would name a bright day. A simple glance out the window earned only a melancholy view; tense and resigned to rip at the next sign of stress, the streets were worn and strung together by threads, the frayed edges reminiscent of a dilapidated security blanket. The old man thought and thought for a long time until the sky turned blue again. He was aware he was going to die. It was just a matter of when. And when ‘when’ would come.
