Laney had known that Corey was oblivious to her crush on him.
Corey was away for the weekend on a trip and she missed him dearly.
She had some lyrics to share her love but was nervous to show them to him.
Later that night, she went to the garage having an idea.
“Kin, and Kon,” she called for them.
Kin and Kon were at their instruments.
“What’s up Laney?” asked Kon.
“I wanted to know if you could look at these,” said Laney as she gave them the lyrics.
“You wrote these?” asked Kin, “These are good.”
“Can we make a song out of this?” asked Laney, “I want it to be a surprise for Corey.”
Kin and Kon had wide eyes.
“We’ve been shipping you for days,” said Kon, “You guys are adorbs.”
Later they set up the instruments and did some practice with the lyrics.
“I think we’re ready this time,” said Laney, “
A Night Under the Moon (werewolf sneezefic)Times like these made me grateful for all the chaos in the house, it made sneaking out so much easier. With my siblings running around, my parents cleaning up after them, and my grandparents visiting to criticize their parenting skills, all I had to do was keep quiet until I was out the door! I mentally mapped out my trail as I walked into the nearby forest just beyond our fence. I explored this area often enough that such a task was no longer required, but nature was constantly changing and I would hate to get stuck in an unfamiliar spot. Soon the sky transitioned into a beautiful mix of pink, purple, and light blue tones. I could felt the sticks and leaves crunch beneath my feet as I traveled deeper. The autumn air combined with the scent of pine trees. The small river of rushing water could be heard just up the trail behind a small rock formation.A Night Under the Moon (werewolf sneezefic)3 minutes ago in Short Stories More Like This

Hitoshi Journal - Entry 12Time seems to steadily continue on as we travel along. It is good that the twins can join us finally. The past 2 years have been quite strange not having them around. It was understandable with Kin having to get back into form. I am still surprised to see them when I wake up here in China. I have noticed that Míng and Kokoro have found common ground with plenty of things. They speak with each other quite a lot. I doubt that they will ever be the best of friends but I believe that they will be very respectful. I don't see a sibling nature springing from their relationship which could be a positive. I'm not sure how a tigress would like it if a dingo decided to stomp her foot and demand an audience. Or like it if such a relatively small canine showed just how much power it had over larger animals and pulled said tigress by the ear. ^-^; I guess I will have to be the one that such things happen to. I am alright with that. I don't think I want another sister anyway. I get picked on enHitoshi Journal - Entry 129 minutes ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

It was a sunny day. Just like the other three days before, not a single cloud was daring to stand in the sun's way. The birds were happily singing in the park, and the fresh scent of flowers could be smelt everywhere in the little town Seruho. Spring definitely kicked off quite energetic. Certainly, it was a great day to relax and let the spring into one's heart.
And yet, one protested against all of the serenity that was this thursday. In the middle of a park, one could hear the sighing of a young girl. She was lying on the bench, kicking into the air out of boredom. „Is it really just thursday by now?“, she asked herself, „That means I have to stay in this town for another day... Wonderful. Just won-der-ful...“
Another sigh escaped her chest. Ever since the girl arrived with her class at this town, she was either angry, bored or a mixture of both. Neither does the history of the small town Seruho interest her, nor would all the „si

The day that our fingertips brushed was the day my world exploded with color. Our eyes met and one silent word formed between us: soulmates. We were overjoyed, the usual black-and-white and become tiring, dull, too depressing. Now the world was a rainbow of colors.
The grasses that littered the land were shades of green. And when it was spring, when the weather wasn't too hot or too cold, flowers of yellow, purple, red, pink and blue sprang up from those grasses. The apple and cherry trees, a light hue of pink due to the fruit bearing flowers. Other trees remained green all year while other trees leaves turned red, orange and brown, which fell the fall. In the winter, the ground would be blanketed with pure white snow. And the process repeats.
Humans are almost as beautiful as their surroundings. Their skin would be shades of tan, brown and tinges of yellow. The color of their eyes were stu

They had been casting an eye now and then on a closed notebook on their desk, while packing up necessary stuff for the daily routine to come. Bringing it could be an option, but not a choice. They would have to wait for dusk, the time of the day when no disturbance would occur, no crowd would gather around them, and their mind could be more at ease for new plots and speeches. They eyed the closed notebook again, as if something special was caged inside the pages wa

I looked up to see a dark gray sky, almost black, and tall acadia trees looking down upon me as if I was and insect. Dead leaves were crushed by my feet. The thistle of the forest floor dug into my flesh and cut it. I was so tired, I had been walking for so long. My legs and arms stung and I could barely keep my eyes open.
Maybe I should sit here and rest?
No! I must continue...

Time sat still .. dead ...
Hours passed and I was alone here in my sacred Grove my garden of Eden which I call home , hours turned to days I didn't see toe setting sun for the bleak emptiness that greeted me was so cold ... that my eyes would flow with tears , the days fell into weeks , wandering blind and helpless unable to return home , from the guilt and the shame of giving up , weeks passed and the months roll on the abyss that I was subjected to in the hollow casket of my grave you dug ....
Though I found comfort in the beauty of nature, the looming sensation of death ,the numb longing for what has been long lost , never to return, never to have once more under the setting sun , starving solitary on lonely shores ...
Never to go home .....
Snowfall - Chapter 4 “Are you sure you know where you’re going?” Blazer asked, breaking the silence. They had been following Reaper for several hours now, and gotten absolutely nowhere.Snowfall - Chapter 414 minutes ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“That’s an excellent question!” Reaper said.
A few minutes passed without elaboration. “So… What’s the answer?” Firegirl asked.
“42!” Reaper exclaimed cheerfully.
Tim huffed in frustration. “But yeah, I know where I’m going,” Reaper finished.
“Well, good. We need ta sleep, though. Gettin’ late,” Rocki said.
“Oh, crap, it is. Yeah, let’s set up camp,” Icegirl said, checking the time on her phone.
The group stopped and started setting up. Rocki made some small tent-like structures out of slabs of earth, Firegirl set up a campfire, Blazer started charging up all the different electronics, and Icegirl
Escape from Sol 2 prologueGas escaped from the pod. It was partly crushed from the landing on the unknown planet. It most have had a thick atmosphere and was a rocky one. Inside the asteroid belt. Either Sol 2 or Sol 3. I opened my eyes. And indeed the crash had done its toll on the small craft. The main computer was down. I reached my tail over to pulled down on the leaver. A small shaft of yellow light drifted in. I began to uncoil myself. My rough skinned dull blue tail poked out the pod. Within half a second it recoiled back in "Ow!" I shrieked in pain. "Hot, so hot!" I pulled the tail up to my face. It nearly got melted by the heat. This planet clearly suffered a greenhouse effect. I was on Sol 2.
I could never understand why the apes of Sol 3 though of this planet as beautiful. It was a nightmare!
It was unbearable coiled up inside the small pod. My long body was designed for slithering down corridors of a
cobblestonesFog mingles with the light emanating from the street lamps, drawing out a continuous, honey-coloured stream of photons from their crowned heads looming up above in the murky greyness, looking down onto the wet cobblestones so slippery you might break your neck although there isn’t even much rain falling, only intrusive dampness creeping into the gaps between the layers of your clothes.cobblestones17 minutes ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Down the street a tall figure is walking unsteadily on the wet cobblestones, holding up a lanky pole with a half-open sphere at the top, swaying gently in the breeze, gathering up the fog saturated with the pale lamplight, storing it for further use. As the figure continues down the street, the air grows tangibly dimmer, the light harvested, its particles removed gently.
The figure softly hums a tune that smells faintly of the darkness following, a crisp, musky odour hailing back to unlit caves penetrated by the scent of burnt-down fires and sooty bones littering the ashes, the thick smell of charc

Placky, Willy-T and Treavor found themselves hurtling through a white portal, the red, green and blue duck-tape stripes ripped away..
“That ain’t good.” murmured Placky.
“So, what are they gonna call me!?” called Willy.
“I already have it written down” called Placky, “We took votes earlier.” A script paper popped out of Placky’s glovebox. Willy read it out loud.
“W.B. Thunderbutt, three marks.. number.. what the hell is this!?” snapped Willy.
“Just go with it, you’ll figure it out.” assured Placky.
“Okay..” groaned Willy. Suddenly Placky lurched, and rapidly began to fall from the sky.
“I think we’re here!” called Placky. Suddenly, the little Diesel pitched wildly downward, and ground came into view, followed by the appertain of what seemed to be a giant black boulder.. though it was shaped funny. All three were blinded momentarily, as Placky sma

Danielle fell against the wall, her back slamming painfully, causing her to moan out while she shut her eyes tight; she gripped the prize to her chest, causing a slow grin to form on her pink lips.
Opening her eyes she pushes off the brick wall and turns to glance around the corner; there was no one in sight, which made her grin wider.
Giving her attention to the newest thing she stolen, she began turning in her doll like hands. It was a strange crystal that shone with many colours from an unknown light source within.
Her smile dropped when she saw her hands; both had been cut off when she was caught a few years ago and now had these yellow doll hands that hovered at her w
