Sun, the Chimchar, fumbled on the word 'monoliths' for a while as the word does not belong to her normal language. LSR: MisunderstandingWandering through the forest was a Blaziken under the name of Zoey. She was bipedal with a mostly red body, though there were yellow blaze markings on her feet and a small yellow triangle on her chest. She had a peach colored mane around her head and chest, which sort of looked like long hair. She has a very short, pointed tail and bird talons for hands. Just this morning, she had spoken to one slightly younger ranch Pokemon-not one of the babies, but maybe more of a teenager-and that Pokemon reported that it was attacked while attempting to train in the forest. Many other Pokemon confirmed that report, that something dangerous was hiding in the forest. Zoey went and told her trainer and ranch mascot, strongest Pokemon in the ranch, but somehow she had been volunteered to go out and look instead. She didn’t argue.LSR: Misunderstanding39 minutes ago in Short Stories More Like This

I was walking around with Toadstool. “I never thought I would see this city with my own eyes,” said Toadstool. “Me either,” I said, “I ought to keep this book around with me more often.” “Where did you find it anyway?” she asked. “It was lying on an old bed,” I said, “It has a lot of info about this world too.” Ike was watching us. “That boy has some good potential on him,” he said. “Yeah, but he’s just a kid,” said Cloud. “You were a kid once too,” said Ike, “You’re still a kid now.” “I guess you’re right,” he said. Moments later I was walking to Robin’s magic class. After a few days they decided to make me one of their students. “Question,” said Robin, “What is Fire?” “Fire is the chi that keeps you warm and the light that guides your way,” we all said. “Correct,

I awake with a jolt, as rain drips onto my face, to see an overcast, gray sky above me. I sit up in bed, wondering what’s going on…
…and then I see that the wall has caved in.
I look out the window, and I wonder what’s happened. The trees are blackened and charred. Patches of grass are still growing here and there, but most of the houses up and down the street have been either blasted out, or completely levelled. Shards of timber are everywhere, sharp nails, smashed cars scattered like bowling pins. I turn to get up, to see whether my family might have survived, but as I turn, I realize that the entire rest of the house is completely gone.
I get up, and wander out into what’s left of the yard. The rain is beginning to lessen, but I still head into the shade of one lone leaning wall connected to what used to be our house. I start yelling for help, yelling for anyone out there who can hear me.
There is no response.
I turn on my phone. No bars. It usually get

The fire died out.
The following day, most of those who immigrated to this strange new area of the world and made a point to visit the native village were preparing to depart and return to their newly formed towns and cities.
The man who quite literally paled in comparison to the natives, whose complexion was as achromasia against the variedly chromatic pigmentation of the tribesmen and tribeswomen, and who spent nearly an hour the previous night arguing with the old man, Pivane, about the nature of his stories, before leaving, made an effort to locate Miss Iti from the night before.
She was walking parallel to a longhouse. The man hastened his pace, though never quite gliding to her. Tripping slightly at the pace he was going, he caught up to her, stopping her to talk.
“Good morning, Iti.”
“Good morning, sir.”
“Oh, no. No, no, no, not sir. Rudy, I said.”

The fire illuminated the various faces of the onlookers as the storyteller, clad in some form of seemingly traditional regalia, continued on about his explanation of the whys of the world. Most of the audience consisted of locals, listening out of respect for the rambling old man. Warned ahead of time that the story might make little sense, and the man telling the story was not all there, there were very few foreign folk who remained till the end of the tale.
Several larger men with heavily tattooed faces went nearly unnoticed in the gathering despite their striking appearance as the most bewildering face being illuminated by the fire was the fair gentleman who stared at the storyteller in disbelief. He kept rubbing the side of his nose, mouth agape, so enthralled in the tale he noticed nothing else.
After some time, when the fire began to die down, a young woman came to start it up again. She broug

- Aunt Dee? Machar lets out and listens for an answer.
No response. Machar continues into the house and looks into the kitchen. There sits two persons by the table, all wrapped up in lots of layers of clothing.
Machar walks in and sits down in front of them. He looks at them and sees that, while they're alive, they're trying to conserve as much energy as they can by simply not moving.
Their eyes barely make any motion of seeing him, yet he knows they do. He sighs and goes up to hug them.
- Hi Aunt Dee, Hi Uncle Cee. Machar says.
No Response. Machar decides to look around. It was quite some time since he visited last. He checks around the house as he remembers how fun he used to have five years ago.
When he's nearly done, he quietly checks one of the bedrooms. He sees a figure in the bed and smiles worriedly. Then he walks back to the kitchen.

The strings rose, immediately followed by the soloists and the chorus. It was beautiful, awe-inspiring and skilfully played – it was the fourth movement of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, and as Justin leaned back in his chair he allowed the music to wash over him, submerge him in its sublime depths while he forgot the world.
And then someone coughed.
“Gah,” he spat in disgust, pulling off his headphones and dumping them unceremoniously on his desk.
From his seat opposite him his colleague, Salvadore ‘Sal’ Soldano, craned his neck and peered over his laptop at his colleague.
“Someone coughed. Right there, in the middle of the performance, some joker fucking coughed.”
Sal arched an eyebrow. “It was a live recording; it’s to be expected that there would be some background noise. Just see if you can adjust the lev

Toadstool and I were heading far from the Mushroom Kingdom to find shelter. “I should’ve known my own trusted companion was behind this entire attack,” said Toadsworth. “I was trying to tell you he was evil,” said Toadstool, “I saw it in his eyes that he couldn’t be trusted.” I kept walking. I remembered the thing I did at Blue Shell Business Boarding School. “Why did I do that?” I asked myself. I looked at my hands. “Were these hands meant to destroy?” Toadstool took my hands. “Don’t let it get to you,” she said, “You did what you thought was right.” “I know,” I said, “But I didn’t mean to kill him.” She gave me a hug. “Mystery of the Lion’s Tomb”
Scarlet Substitutes, Marvels Theatre, and of course, us here at Radio 11 would like very much to thank you out there for the continued support from our beloved listeners. However, we have had quite a disruption after last week’s announcement that the live performance of ‘Mystery of the Lion’s Tomb’ had been canceled and many of our less beloved listeners have decided to threaten the radio station. Our programme director, Sir Carlton Winslow has a few words.
“Good evening. Radio 11 strives always to bring you, the listener, the best of radio serials. We thank you for continued support and the acclaim our shows have received.
“Tonight, to take a bit away from the regular cheer our shows bring to you, I wish

A short while later Shiloh emerges from his bedroom to find, much to his relief, that Ray is wearing his shorts again. He doesn’t look happy about it but that doesn’t bother Shiloh. He’s sharing his home with the guy, the least he can do is cover up his dick.
“I’m hungry”, he whines.
“That’s because you fell asleep before the pizza was ready”, Shiloh points out.
He glances in the direction of the kitchen. He really can’t be bothered to make anything right now. Maybe they could eat out instead. He knows a nice little café just up the road in town.
“Come on”, he says, approaching the front door. “I’ll get us some grub”.
He grabs his shoes and slips them on, then hands Ray a spare pair of sandals. Ray takes them and stares at them as though they are foreign objects which, to him at least, they kind of are.
“What do I do with these?” He asks.

Listen, dearest: I am always with you. You need never fear darkness or loneliness or despair. I am with you, heart and soul. I know you can see me only in your dreams, but I am always at your side. I am always watching over you.
Dearest, I will never leave you.
I will drive out your nightmares and kiss away your tears. Nothing will lurk behind the veil of night to claw at you in your sleep, for I will forever be your shield. I will comfort you when nothing else can.

It is lonely, and it is cold.

Chapter 2: Left alone
Lucas, the love of my life, left me there, at a huge fancy restaurant just for couples, alone. He paid for the food, but he broke my heart. I thought we were meant to be together forever… it turns out I was wrong.
I quickly ran outside, and as the tears poured down my face, the rain started to fall, messing up my beautiful dress I wore just for this special night. I took the phone out from my purse, and I dialed my mom’s phone number. It was really embarrassing for me to have to call her to pick me up, because the love of my life dumped me for another girl.
My mother pulled into the parking lot, quickly getting out of the car and rushing towards me. I hugged her tightly, crying onto her chest.
“There, there, my love… it’s OK,” she whispered into my ear. When I had calmed down, she drove me home. She started having a conversation with me about love and the positive and negative effects it can have; she even talk
My August 2 We’re on the sofa, in my living room, both half naked. This is going to be such a good image when my parents come home. It won’t get Danny thrown out of my house at all. Totally. Telling them that I wanted to op when I didn’t plan to was bad enough, but then them coming home and finding who I said I’d invited around as a friend half naked wouldn’t bode well. Especially considering it hasn’t quite been a year since I had my op. And I was told to ‘not mess around’ before that. Not by my doctors, only by my parents. Of course that had to be their biggest concern. Not that a lot of people liked to call me a she-he or whatever. Something like that could never matter.
Oh well, at least I’m not stuck wit

chapter 1: a lovely date gone wrong
I was so psyched! It was our 2nd year dating, and today was the anniversary of the day we first kissed! To celebrate, we were going over to the most expensive, fancy restaurant in all of town; we both had saved up all our money just to go to it. We, literally, had to work in order to get the money. Lucas had to clean apartments while I had to babysit after school.
I had no idea what dress to wear; “Hmm…red dress…no…aha,” I shouted to myself while searching around in my closet for the perfect dress. I chose the black dress with white sleeves, and I wore black knee socks along with cute black sandals; It was the perfect dress for the perfect day, but I wasn’t wearing it just for the night; I was wearing it for the whole school day.
I’ll never forget the day Lucas and I met; we met our freshmen year, and we both had the exact same classes. I was a little depressed that year, because I missed my
The dark side of HeavenThe dark side of HeavenThe dark side of Heaven2 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This
Heaven is endless, it promises freedom and it´s the home of all kind of angels. They live there while watching over the humans, helping them, protecting them. Their white wings show their purity and brave intentions. They live in God´s light, laughing, feeling glad they´re alive.
But there is a place that is never reached by God´s light and warmth. Beyond the heavenly Towns and golden fields of Heaven there is a dark, dead land. There live angels, too. They bring suffer, hate and sorrow to the humans. Their wings are black so they can be identified as different from their peaceful conspecifics.
Why are there such dark angels? Why is there this dark side of Heaven?
Long time ago God banished all the angels, that had bad intentions against mankind, to hell. They gathered and allied against Heaven. They almost toppled God.
God decided to create a dark side of Heaven for the rebelling angels. The angels with dark wings live as outcasts. They may
