Child!Nordic!Reader x Child!Depressed!Prussia-PlayI wandered around the forest after breakfast. There wasn't much to do, really, all I did was sit in the small cabin me and my family lived in. Today I decided that things would be different, and wandered in hopes of some entertainment, a friend maybe. Unfortunately for me, most children already had their friends, and I wasn't too needed. The only people I played with were my siblings, and I wanted someone new. I kicked a stone, until I saw something... white by the riverside. I moved closer towards it, to find it to be a boy, with white hair, sitting by it. To my greatest delight, he was my age, and I went to investigate.Child!Nordic!Reader x Child!Depressed!Prussia-Play1 day ago in Short Stories More Like This
"Hej!" I pranced up to him, and he turned his head in my direction. He had bright crimson eyes, and very pale skin. That didn't really bother me, though.
"Hallo" The boy spoke quietly.
"What're you doing here?" I cheerily asked, imitating my Danish brother's accent.
"I'm just waiting for someone, but I don't think they're coming." He sighed, hanging his head.

That was what my sister said to me one autumn day.
It was sunny, with yellowed falling leaves like sand sprinkling down an hourglass. I thought about how they would fall, until each tree branch was stark and empty.
We sat on a wooden bench, motionless, until I finally asked her why she wanted to stop time.
“To stop people from drifting away, to stop you from drifting away,” she answered.
“But where will I go?” I asked.
“I don’t know… maybe just away.”
“I’ll always be here if you need me.”
“Always, forever… they’re are all lies. I will disappear, or you will, everyone will in one way or another - unless we stop time.”
She then reached out her hand to catch a falling leaf, only to miss. It was as though she was trying to stop a grain of sand in an hourglass. Then the wind came, the leave

Featuring Crown Prince Donnaghán & Princess Nuala:
Winter, Year 755 of the New Age
Glenmore, Donnaghán’s Winter Den
The day had been a long and tiresome one for the Crown Prince and it was with relief that he once again viewed the proud boughs of his beloved Oak.
Beneath the light of Óganach’s full right eye, he and the small band of guardsmen that had joined him on a thorough inspection of the Blackwood border returned from their mission. They were cold and tired, having trudged through the latest hours of the night through deep, fresh powder and light snowfall to make it home. Their assignment had been a successful one, although had taken a few days longer than they had initially anticipated. Ever eager to prove his readiness to protect and defend his kingdom, Donnaghán had led the procession to the southwestern most reaches of the

Her e we go – some Assam tea today. I’ve been trying to find a blend I can safely serve to my customers if they wish to discuss matters, and this week this is the leaf of choice.
It may surprise you to know that there have been quite a few occasions where, in addition to availing myself of the opportunity to add to my collection from those I visited, I ended up doing something for them as well. Let me give you an example.
In 1972, Idi Amin kicked the Asian business owners out of Uganda, and a lot of them came to the UK, settling in places like Leicester. As a result, the rather drab colours of that decade were often blasted away by a blaze of colour in those areas, and a lot of people were attracted to that style and colour of clothing.
A year or so later, I had come to Leicester with the intention of visiting a few homes, and one particular one was in the area many of these immigrants against their will had settled. Getting in was easy enough, as I
Shelob and Amy: The Victorious Arachnid It was a warm, July day. The sun glowing bright and basking down through the leaves of the trees. But still, Amy shivered. A lot of that probably had something to do with the soaking wet school uniform that was pasted onto the young woman's sensitive skin. But she had to admit that some of it probably came from the uncertainty of what was ahead of her. Not the path through the forest — she knew it'd lead where it always did. This pleasant wooded path would take her through the prettiest parts of the forest, then out into town.Shelob and Amy: The Victorious Arachnid10 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This

Waiting behind with Sam while Crowley and Dean went to get the Horseman's 'Stable boy' was not something you were happy about. You had argued with your older brother Dean but he made it clear you and Sam were to wait at the old house. Sam clearly was just as bummed out as you were as he spent most the time sulking and grumbling to himself. When you heard the familiar purr of the Impala's engines pull up outside the house you jumped to your feet eager to see what was going on. Crowley appeared in front of you and grabbed your hand before he teleported you to the side of a road in the middle of nowhere.
"Stay" He ordered before he disappeared again. You stood there jaw slack until you realized what just happened. Your eye twitched as you stared at the spot the demon once stood in. Thankfully he had just teleported you a mile away from the house and you began making your way back, beyond pissed at your 'friend'. You arrived at the house 20 minutes later and saw Sam and Dean talking outsid

All know of them; nine monstrous constructs of chakra-demons, some call them-that have existed since before the rise of the five ninja villages. Their might is feared, their ferociousness dreaded…for in the wake of their rampages, they have left swathes of destruction, entire villages and settlements leveled to the ground. Countless lives, lost before their wrath…and those who survive have told tales of their might.

He never answered his phone, because when he was playing video games, the least thing he wanted was being interrupted. This time though, he was annoyed enough to actually answer it. He paused 'Tomb Raider' and said “Seb here, who's there?” There was a short moment of silence, then a female voice answered “Hey Seb, this is Mary from school” Seb was actually surprised, he'd seen Mary once or twice for sure but never really talked to her or even paid attention. “Uhh, hi Mary” he answered, unpaused the game and tried to continue “I was wondering if you had anything planned for later?” Seb concentrated on the game more than he did on the conversation “Seb, are you there?” He died in game and quite annoyed answered “Yes...I'm here Mary” That may have sounded rougher than he meant to

In a shop window I passed by today I saw a most wondrous figurine. Inside a tiny birdcage lay rest a small fairy-esque being. Her wings were the most delicate feathers, her body draped in gossamer. Her eyes so piteously pleading to be freed, yet even though the key dangled from the display case, not a single person reached to do so. The fee upon the door read, For a mere $1 you too could bear witness to a miracle, if only you believe...
Many eyes fell upon the cage, but none seemed to note the prisoner within. Desperately I searched my pockets, praying I had enough loose change. But I fell shy by a quarter, and I couldn't help the fairy inside. I strode up to the window, tapping very lightly. Her small tear stained face turned towards me, and I nearly died. Inside that cage looking back at me, was my own face minaturized. I knew then I had to beg for that last bit of change. Pleading, begging, performing

I couldn't comprehend it. Sure, my son was a weird kid, but, never this weird. He'd always been a nerdy kinda weird. He was in love with all those action cartoons from Japan and the guys in the leotards fighting guys in giant rubber suits and those people who play games online. He was a passionate kid who was into weird things, or at least weird to me, anyway.
But this was different. This was scary weird. As in this is not normal in any sort of culture or society. He was just sitting there with his legs crossed, gazing dead eyed into the dim blue light of the black and white static. I could hardly even tell if he was breathing.
"Okay honey, time to go to bed." I tried to urge him. He didn't budge. Not even when I patted his shoulder. He just kept looking forward.
I waved a hand in front of his face and there was no reaction. He was still as stone.
I was scared. What had happened to my son?
I gazed into the static he seemed so fond of and,

Luc stared blankly at the page. What the hell does ‘sift’ mean? He questioned. April had put him in charge of making a dessert for an upcoming block party. He had chosen some random recipe online that sounded simple enough, a chocolate cake, but this looked way more complicated than he had originally thought.
Unable to figure out what ‘sifting’ meant, Luc just threw in all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and began to stir vigorously. This is a lot tougher than it thought it would be, Luc thought, his arm beginning to fatigue from the stirring. Luc dipped his finger into the bowl and tasted the lumpy batter. Not bad.
A loud tapping noise sounded from the back door. Confused, Luc left the messy kitchen and to the door. The moment he opened it, a bird swept past his head and into the ho
