Camp Tickle Torture: Chapter 10“Well, this is shit,” moaned Scott, the young twelve year old brunette boy stumbling over the rake he was holding. Gijsbers lashed out and swiped him across the face.Camp Tickle Torture: Chapter 1022 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“SHUTTUP!” she bellowed in his ear. With the boy’s hearing now significantly worse off, Scott winced and set about raking the dirt again. He did not know why they had to rake dirt. It seemed like such a pathetic, pointless, task, but there he was. Everyone else – or rather, the children at least, were being forced to help clean the place up. But the camp bunks, dorms and the mess hall had already been scrubbed top to bottom, and there were still a few hours to kill.
Most of the children were dehydrated, and they staggered around, gasping and begging for water. That normally earned them a wet upper body, for rather than having proper cups, the teachers threw buckets at the kids. For them to get water, they’d have to squeeze their shirts out and suckle of the refreshing drops that c
AnimalsYesterday I was out walking my dog, a fluffy purse sized pooch my wife had insisted on, when I saw this horse. Standing alone in a large grassy field, it was the cutest little thing. Maybe a pony but I couldn't tell. I hopped the fence and walked over to it, slowly as not to spook it. Miffy, the dog, followed at my heels.Animals18 hours ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
I stopped two feet from its head. The horse looked at me with wide brown eyes. "Its okay girl, I won't hurt you." It bent its head down to study Miffy, who was licking its ankle. "Its okay, she won't hurt-" I stopped talking as the horse unlocked its jaw like an anaconda, and swallowed the little mutt.
"Wh-what...?" The horse turned to face me again, eyes still seemingly innocent despite what I'd just witnessed. Tripping over myself, I ran back towards to little white fence. I had just reached it when I heard a sickening crunch behind me. I turned to see a full grown lion munching on the horse. I couldn't believe it. How was there a lion out

I'm close now. There's a forest shrine nestled in the shadow of the Edzull hills, where the wirewights commune with their dead god. I know it well, and dozens of other such places that litter the Ossifus isles. One by one I visit them, stepping stones on a pilgrimage that ends I know not where.
The willowspirit stings my eyes, and begins to reveal the toxic sunrise. The shadowed treetops are heavy with crows and hunched things. Greenteeth and Grendelows paw at the grass by the stream. Some of these things are real and some of them are the willowspirit in my veins. I keep my distance from all of them.

Oz could feel the lightning building within him. It was already infusing its ferocious heat into his veins. Slowly. Crackling like a rogue firework. Usually he might've suppressed it. Pushed it back into his body and let it fizzle out, but not this time. This time he needed it. So when the agony came pressing down on his lungs and his stomach churned with vertigo, he welcomed it. He was its vessel, after all.
In contrast to the raging heat inside of him, the floor feel cold under his fingertips. The cell was like that. Cold. He pressed his face against it, feeling his cheek burning on the concrete.
"Oz? Are you alright?"
It was then that the voice lilted into his consciousness, sweet and deep, like the ocean. Soothing. Cold. Something inside Oz regained control and he lifted his head slowly. On the other side of the cell sat a boy. Crouche

Inside nearly all the earth's kaiju were captured and contained. The hybrid Trilopods stood guard. They were watching... waiting for something, or rather someone, to arrive...
Then suddenly they heard him. The roar of an angry king. Through the buildings they saw him appoarch from the west, from out of the ocean. "I can' t tell you how nervous I am," Frankie sighed as she lined her eyes with black eyeliner.
"You don't need to be so nervous, Frankie. Matt's a great guy and a perfect gentleman," Ziah said, zipping up one of her knee-high boots.
Frankie dropped the eyeliner pencil into her make up bag with a deep sigh. "I know that Matt's a great guy. I'm just questioning why he wants to ho out on a date with me."
"Because he genuinely likes you and is genuinely interested in getting to know you. Matt would tell you the same thing."
Frankie nodded, her nerves still all jittery. "Yeah, I know he would. Do you have any idea where we're going?"
Ziah zipped up her second boot and then stood up with a sigh. She shook her head with a shrug. "I'm not really sure. All I know is that we're supposed to be going to some cafe that has a lot of vegan options. Matt wanted to make sure you had

It sounded like the beginning of a bad joke…
What did they all have in common?
They weren’t in Oz anymore…
The cowardly lion, who was no longer cowardly and preferred to be called Leo, rode atop the horse of a different color across the amber waves of grain in Kansas.
They were greeted by the sight and sound of a small black dog running towards them, alerting its owner to their unlikely visitor.
What a sight they were to behold, Dorothy would remember it always, along with the giant spider that suddenly appeared out of nowhere, chasing them.
The arachnid, Dorothy later learned, had encased the Emerald city with its web to use as its nest. The citizens would be a food source for its babies once they had hatched.
How Leo had gotten there, no one could be sure. While he played bate for the eight-legged monster, the Tinman and Scarecrow planned to liberate the capital. Leo remembered only thinking of Doro

Gerald frowned and retreated back behind the curtain.
He reappeared in a pencil skirt and pussy bow blouse, both fitting rather snugly.
“Gerald!” muttered Cynthia. “You’re embarrassing me.”
Looking daggers, Gerald disappeared again, reappearing for the last time in a catsuit that left nothing to the imagination.
“Well, I am not going out with you looking like that!” said Cynthia.
Gerald straightened his shoulders. “You know, you could be a little more supportive.”
Cynthia sighed. “Gerald, you are really going to have to face it. You’re just not a size 10.”
Spinning (In Her Grave)She came in a series of packages. The limbs were the first; their sectioned silver expanses reflecting the sunlight as I reverently opened the slender boxes. If I'm honest, I must admit my breath caught, but for a moment, at the beauty I unveiled. As the moment passed, I gathered the necessary materials and spun limb sections into their rightful place alongside their counterpart. The children crowded eagerly around, but lost interest quickly, even as I tinkered.Spinning (In Her Grave)13 hours ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Once they were whole, I polished the limbs daily, spinning them in my hands and impatient for the next package. When it arrived, the children crowded me once more, their interest held a little better as I set about the work of connecting her, spinning her limbs all the while. It took me two weeks to finish, and by then the penultimate package had arrived.
This one would require far more time, and my deepest concentration. I sent away the children who crowded me, their lilting voices and speculations too much of a distraction. T

It was dark when I woke up. I shared a room with Ponyboy and Sodapop. Of course I had to sleep on the floor. It was that or the sofa. Soda was already at work with Steve. Pony was laying next to me. My eyes burned. "Hahah why are you here?" I laugh. I could see him blushing a bit. "Darry's gonna get mad at us if we don't get ready and have something to eat, eh?"
"That's true, girl," he chuckled. I was really happy I could have someone to talk to while Soda's at work and Darry's doing whatever he does. Rather not get into his mess. Pony picked out a black shirt and black ripped jeans for me. I put the outfit on and slipped some socks and converse on. When I turned around, he grabbed my hand and ran me to the lot, where Johnny and Dally were.
Dally winked at me. Johnny smiled and it faded. "Pony, Darry's gonna kill us!" I screamed at him. "Oh a firecracker today, eh, sugar?" Dally laughed. A smile appeared on my face and I shrugged it off. "Only kidding, Pony, I'm not that w

Si la falta de un cromosoma te dificultaba un poco la vida diaria el tener uno de más tenía un resultado más inestable. “Huh.” The inmate with the prominent widow’s peak lined up his shot, took it, and sent the cue ball spinning into the corner pocket. “Was the place anywhere interesting?”
“Uh...” Carl put the cue ball back on the table and sank a red into the side pocket. “Not really. You know, standard secret lab. Nothing out of the ordinary.” It was more or less true. He took his next shot, leaving another red covering the corner pocket.
The inmate took his turn. A wild jab from the cue sent the ball flying off the table and bouncing noisily across the floor. “Frank!” he shouted. “Little help?”

Multiple malfunctions detected.
The alarms turned off and all was quiet aboard the ship as it passed through space. A bot, its sole crew member, ruminated on its impending demise.
It rolled through to the repair bay and picked out a screwdriver. There must be something it could do with this – some way to make the malfunctions disappear.
There was a hatch on the bot’s arm held together with screws. It might hold something important.
The bot used the screwdriver.
The ship’s lights went out.
//Initiate emergency lighting
A red flood lit the walls. The bot continued to unscrew the hatch and liquid seeped out from underneath the crack.
It turned towards the airlock.
“Come on, this is ridiculous. Have some pity for small bladders.”
The bot’s vision blurred. Blood on the bathroom tiles. The alarms were going off in the ship
ENDependence I shot awake to the sound of a bugle blasting near my room. I let out a heavy sigh after the initial shock of the awakening. SSgt Jolt seemed to enjoy messing with me, seeing that I was the only other Airman in Team END. He grew to start off my weekend mornings with Reville and get me to run with him around the perimeter of the castle. It wasn't too bad once Summer came around, and I grew to enjoy the early morning runs (when Shy wasn't sending me out on any missions later that night, at least). He started off all professional and all, but he eventually grew to fit in with the wacky crowd that Team END had to offer. He changed from consistently screaming at people about standards that they didn't quite need to uphold, and instead began teaching what he knew to those who would listen. He still yelled and cursed at people, but he at least began to have fun and share it with others.ENDependence20 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This

I gasped, my eyes going wide as light filled my gaze. Memories of what had just happened ran threw my mind. I looked around, seeing I was in a room... Where am I... X? Jacob? Zaphira? Kara? Everyone? Where are they, are they safe?!
I heard a laugh come from the corner of the room. It sounded insane as I looked over my eyes landing on Black. I was in too much shock to show anger to him... I just died...
"So James really did succeed in creating a phoenix... How amusing." Black smirked walking over to me.

I let out a single laugh, feeling elated at the first sign that it was working as intended. Then the room filled with new light as the next day began. By now the on-board computer woul
