Guardians of day and nightThis is the sun, the guardian of the day.Guardians of day and night1 day ago in Free Verse More Like This
This is the moon, the guardian of the night.
The sun gleams
The moon beams
The sun is in the cyan view,
The moon is in a dark twilight hue.
The sun sees people busy
The moon sees people from work, dizzy.
The sun watches children play,
The moon watches children sleep from the day.
The sun makes plants grow,
The moon just gives a blow.
The sun, from the ocean, hides,
The moon, from the ocean, makes tides.
The sun sees the fun,
The moon doesn't see one.
The sun is all bright,
The moon is in fright.
The sun forms clouds of art,
The moon forms stars from the heart.
The sun is the yang,
The moon is the yin.
They are the sun, the guardian of the day.
They are the moon, the guardian of the night.>

And carressess the trees,
Growing from the Earth, wind, water, and fire,
The metronome resonates slow paced beats,
Rainwater patters on desolate streets,
It seems to me, that mother Earth's pride,
Is free from oppression: humanity has died...
The bald eagle soars: his skies are free,
The hummingbird humms and her song sets the pace,
For the bumble bees, waltzing jovially,
With poise, these deft wings, spring beauty and grace,
All in the absence of the human race...
Life goes on without us, no species' direction;
Can compete with the perfection of natural selection...

That flash and soon are gone
Disturbance on the surface seeks
The crack that brings the dawn
The metal god is calm overhead
Diverging ripples corrupt
Emanation of silence, dead
Contriving to erupt
So near is still out far, uncalm
The barren safety waits
Turning all the life from some
In the chaos it creates
The game of life does pulse below
Though arrested by discord
Those on the surface surely know
The wreckage of the lord

The stars dancing around it.
Lighting up the darkness.
The glowing orb high in the night sky.
Making everything look more majestic.
The moon is so calming.
Glowing down on mother earth.
The night owls praise it's cool light.
Green ThumbSometimes, just sometimes I'd wish you'd open up to meGreen Thumb2 days ago in Free Verse More Like This
You're like a flower, that doesn't quite trust the sun yet
I feel like I'm not welcome even though you greet me with a smile
It hurts to think that you'll never bloom for all the world to see
Your thorns point inwards, unlike all the other roses
They dig deeper and deeper but no one can tell
It builds character the more you suffer silently
I can see that you've had enough of this endless torment
All the other bees and insects were never good enough
They boasted of honey and endless pleasures
Every one of them, lying just to have their way with you
You stayed strong, waiting for the right one to come along
Don't give up, I beg of you, you're too special to let it all go
If water would help you keep going, it's all I'd ever give
Think of how far you've come, the change is immense
I want you go keep growing, at whatever the costs, I'll never let you die
The gardeners notice when their children flourish among their siblings

Your verdant bowers,
Your private meadows.
Show me your hidden secrets-
the faded paths and silent streams
that wind through your expanses.
Know that your marvels are undiminished
By having been seen by other eyes than mine,
For in this moment of your revealing,
There is nothing but you and I.
I want to lose myself in you,
For it is only between your boles
That I can find peace.

Whil staring at it from a far distance,
Under the moonlight,
I was mesmerised by its luster,
Inspired by the light it gave.
As I got closer and closer,
I fell in love with the pulchritude,
Of its flaming infernos.
As the distance between us slowly started diminishing,
I stood there still smiling,
"Someday, you'll be the death of me"

It was crying in the rain
It was visibly sad and upset
No one asked for its name
It's spirit was broken
It's eyes a deep bloody red
A bunch of jumbled thoughts
Running like a train through its head
We all encounter weeping willows
Whether in nature or on concrete
It's what we do to wipe those tears
That makes our lives complete

Little children draw lines in the sand
Voices are risen to shout tender words
Singing against the song of island birds
Smell of seaweed, essence of decay
As the current smashes rocks as it may
Above the white foam boats will glide
Over the water as the oceans decide
Sun hats and shades, umbrellas and clothes
Pints of sunscreen prevent a burn on his nose
A little boy tosses stones at the sea
Hoping Neptune will let his sandcastle be
The sun is fading, clouds are collecting
And mankinds' strongest fort starts reflecting
Natures forces, voices and threats
That run through all walls as though they were nets

Upside DownWhy do people only view the world as right side up?Upside Down3 days ago in Free Verse More Like This
If it was me I would look at it upside down.
Even twist and turn or slightly diagonal.
But never right side up.
Though I know I am not weird like Alice.
But I don't care.
Because Alice has the right frame of mind.
If the world is truly what it seem, then I would see it as perfection.
But nothing can be perfection.
So instead I tend to look at the world with a different lens.
I see the people in crowd.
And the people who want to be left alone.
I see all the war that take place.
And every good or bad decision that have been made.
Though if you want a slightly more twisted reality.
Take all of what you have seen and throw it away and start from ground up.
Then build from that so you have a whole new eye.
And when you have that new eye and only then.
Take a look at the world now.
What do you see?
A world of rainbow.
A world of everything that been faded to black.
Or just completely chaos or balance.
Maybe even everything and nothing at al

Blackened ashes smother the young

Tiny limbs emerge from the graves
