Sakura fall onto the shallow cobbles –
Or the bamboo grass turning white.
As those cherry blossoms are trampled
By the horses tread and cart:
The ever-falling rain will begin –
And the tears are carried.
Dark and grey the clouds will turn -
And the cicadas will no longer churn.
The start of a new day.
Pink Sakura obscure the floors –
Amongst the healthy bamboo grass.

I have no words. You leave me blossoming
a beautiful flower in all of the gloom.
Come and grow in my sweet Eden
behold your gentle Summer
so Vibrant thanks to you
for taking the gloom and doom
giving it room to shine
Your soul is spread in your work
the birds sing songs composed by you
Showing your melody to the world
a beautiful quirk.
Your beauty will never get old
no matter the snow or Rain so cold.
your sun will shine no matter how bad.

The World still young
Had grown from a seed
Which softly fell
Into the dark waters.
The seeds spread far
And the waters then filled
with their scattered light.
Each seed grew
Into a bright light.
They reached out
Into the dark waters
To form branches.
The branches grew sturdy
With each held
Many fruits of life.
Today we gaze
Into these dark waters
To try and see the life
In that of our own.
Our waters reflect
The heavens from which
Our lives took shape.
From the heavens
To the waters
From the soil
To what we are
From what we survive.
The land shapes
Into a cradle
To hold our soft life.
We are nurtured
Like the stars above.
Each a seed
Just as our own.
From the dark waters
All Knowledge rests.
It slumbers for now
Waiting to be found.
It is our origin.

We rave within our medium.
All color with pigments to erase
Watch it make you turn red.
The hardest part about fighting,
Is my remissness;
It is not hurting myself.
I am soft, breakable,
We aren't designed for this.
Stress alone kills me,
Tightening my heart,
And my fists.
Until they are the same size.
The only way to reopen the valves
Is with oxytocin,
This is why we are alive.
The cuttlefish fights for love
Gently, without harming its opponent.
It would rather feign vulnerability
Than spread pain.
There is no shame in fleeing-
To love another day,
It is the way of intelligence.
The cuttlefish grapples with its opponent,
Struggling for its life
Never to touch again.
Love cast in crematory ashes
To the manatee:
Glitches inherit the sky,
Scaly clouds of static dancing,
All he knows of the world
Is that warmth kisses his nose

as the river roars by

And with a flash of claws
the image changes

one less member
And with its prey in its jaws
the big cat disappears
from the waters’ eyes
just as the sun is setting
painting vivid streaks of color
over the cougar’s river

a warm embrace to my fresh frame."
Like a soul who knows its own name,

But the sun is cruel
and renders the skin
of our baby-soul-body
a lonely paradise.

Light, light, o fury light,

you too one day will die.

is this what love really is?

That embraces the world in grey.
The rays flow as fountains
Giving their last tingles of warmth.
The sky is a canvas of color,
Appearing as beautiful and flawless
As a master piece painting in a gallery.
The clouds are fringed in pink,
With blue streaks of shadow in their bulks.
Oranges, blues, purples, and gentle pinks,
All mingling in the atmosphere together,
There like a splash of paint and pastels.
Birds fly in the distance
Being swallowed up by the sky.

Season- End of winter By Tragnove In the dark of winter night's crying ice,Season- End of winter By Tragnove1 day ago in Free Verse More Like This
the cool breeze whispers through without sight.
Earths icy cold blanket glows bright like ice,
and the moons glow appears in the night.
As eternal night fades and dies,
the golden light begins to rise.
Golden light high in the sky,
icy tears raise flowers high.
Forever life rises high in the sky,
going on till next winter is nigh'.
And until another winter night's time,
and eternal moon's light lasts for all time.

And it sure is making me hungry.

This little bug chews through leaves like a worm burrows through the earth
It gets bigger and bigger till it is nice and fat
Soon it begins to dress itself in fancy silk
A hard shell forms around this worm-like bug
Days must go on before this mysterious creature emerges from its cocoon
As the sun rises the creature struggles to get out of the cocoon
Once the shell has been broken a new majestic creature emerges from the mess
It shall now fly off with the wind yet when it is time to die it shall restart the circle of life

WinterI don't enjoy the feeling of winter. The icy air hugging the frozen cube that I've became the instant the once green ground changed to a field of slippery wet glass. Forcing me to curl up into a ball of misery, bouncing my will around for the slightest chance of feeling the sweet comfort of heat. Do I enjoy the feeling, no, but the sight of it, most certainly yes. The frosted blanket that covers the land is truly a sight to see. How it sparkles during the day as it dances with the suns warm rays, then at night that when it glows just as bright as the moon, and nothing can hide in the shadows of the night that are ni longer there. The world you're at now is a open book that fell of the top shelf, all its secretes and hidden context are now out in the open for the eyes to see. Some try to hide by blinding in, but they can't cover the proof that they were once there.
