World War II had come to a close; the Axis powers had climbed to a near victory over the Allies, but alas, fell to Russia's unnatural strength, America's extreme patriotic personality, and England's strategic planning. The major Axis powers of Germany, Italy, and Japan lay defeated, but united with their former enemies.
Russia and his soviet allies have seized much of Europe and Asia, and now desires to spread the word of communism to the rest of the world. America—through a mix of egotism and patriotism—opposes the idea of a communist world order, and has thus remained aligned with his former Allies. The two now exchange hostile words more often than with Germany in World War II.
On the other side of the globe, China had declared himself the leading superpower of Asia, and has aligned himself with North Korea. The slightly older brother of North Korea—South Korea—stands his ground with America holding his shoulder from a distance. Even when surroun

In the city of Budapest, a full moon cast an alluring blue color down upon the land. The evening was beautiful, truly something to enjoy. Though the moon was casting a blue hue upon the Hungarian city, in reality, the entire state was colored red under Russia's influence. There was a strict sense of control, and unlike the other members of the Warsaw Pact, there was dissent.
Hungary was tapping her cheek sadly whilst leaning over the balcony of her home. Her eyes glimmered intently as she gazed over the city, ultimately looking westward with suppressed hope. She gently pat her cheek and let out a sigh at the silence of the city. While under the Warsaw Pact's grasp, there was a mandated curfew. On such a night of absolute beauty, it was a crime to traverse the city. To Hungary, it was simply a crime to deny lovers an opportunity to spend time with one another under the stars.
“Hey, lo---oser!” a gleeful voice cheered. Hungary's eyes immediately widened, she look
Below Zero Part 1: The Plan"Err... Great Britain? Um, you called?" Russia spoke into the now-dark room. Wind was still whistling around him from being magicked into the cavern. The floor beneath his feet had an odd characteristic of pulsing periwinkle blue. He could hear the chattering of teeth, so he knew Arthur was somewhere around. He examined the room, and it slowly came to life as the potions on the desks illuminated the place with rainbows of dim, flickering light.Below Zero Part 1: The Plan5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
The room seemed to have the most light coming from a dragon-shaped flask. Filled with something bright red, it seemed to crackle like a hundred Chinese fireworks going off. Hypnotized, Soviet Russia began to walk over, attracted, like a moth to a candle. Only when he was two feet away from the desk with the flask upon it, Russia was distracted by a whimper emanating from under the desk. Russia stopped himself, and bent down to see what was the trouble.
Huddled in the corner under his desk, Britain was trembling feverishly. Arthur was already a n

Well, this is the big chapter we've been waiting for, and no, Bali makes no appearances—despite the story's title. This chapter will only last for five years—the duration of World War I.
Now, since most if not all of you are unfamiliar with Victoria II, let me explain the difference between a World War and regular was in-game. A regular war is usually fought between 2-7 countries over one or two things. In a regular war, a peace treaty can be signed where no one suffers in the end. In a World War, we're looking at 6-30 countries with many possible repercussions to losing and no possibility of a white peace—a faction has to lose. As one would probably imagine, the death toll of a World War is going to be colossal, so this is where we'll be seeing some serious depopulation as a result of warfare. Fortunately, Bali evaded entrance into World War I, but perhaps they'll play a role in World War II. I'm just going to say it now without spoiling much; World War II better
