Darling, you and I both know
in a better world I could be your Lethe
wrap around you, drown you
that ever tried to bring your fate down on you.
Still if I picked up the pieces
I'd hear their soft hum
the one shells moan for the sea
for even then there would be places in you
still not free.
Surely women must have learned by now
never to trust fruit.
A garden is a prison earned
and there is nothing satanic, nothing sacred
Yet when your body curls in on itself
seduced by not-seeds that need only thirst to root
you find your lips wet
and what might be blood or juice
becomes the same as sweat.
Your skin is singing
I swear, hymns to the colors
the way the world's ringing hurts your ears
the salt of the Dead Sea come alive in your tears
the smell only in the sky as the rain clears
the poppy-eyed bud people who spend years
walking around, faces turned toward the light
thrusting pomegranate crown

You, like most of the other nations in your school's Nations Club have become terrified of a certain Russian named Ivan. He was extremely tall and intimidating, always trying to 'become one' with the other nations in the club. Alfred has planted many rumours into your mind, and you sadly you began to believe them.
"Hey! ___! Dude!" You heard your loud American friend yell.
"Hey Alfred. How was the meeting?" You asked looking up at him.
"None of the other nations like my idea of a hero, again." Alfred stated sadly. "Why weren't you there?"
"Aw, poor hero." You mockingly cooed. "And I had to finish up Science homework last night." A bell then rang in the distance. "Shit, I got to get to Science. I'll see you in History!"
"Bro! Watch out for Ivan!" The American warned as you ran down the hall.
You ran down the hall, all the way to the Science wing of your school. You couldn't afford to be late for science again, or your teacher would chew you out for sure. Your teacher was giving out par

Ryuuzaki closed his eyes and let another soft moan out. Light smirked and licked his neck again, then kneeled down, pulling up Ryuuzaki's shirt more, licking his chest. "Ryuuzaki....you taste so sweet...." he said and looked up at him. Ryuuzaki looked back down at him, not saying a word. Then, before Ryuuzaki could blink, Light pulled off L's shirt and was leaning against his chest. These feelings are so strange.....I know Ryuuzaki as a friend...but...My heart says different....he thought. Ryuuzaki blushed lightly and looked up at him. Light smiled and kissed him on the lips deeply. The other quickly kissed back. Light's hand snuck down into Ryuuzaki's pants and started to stroke him through his boxers, as Ryuuzaki did before in the dorm room.
Ryuuzaki opened his eyes wide, moaning out Light's name in pleasure. Light smiled at his reaction. "I see you like this Ryuuzaki...." he said and stroked him harder. He stiffened some and clenched his hand

Your eyes are the gates,
Your soul is my transport
Your veins the roads I must travel.
You should never ever be afraid
of my knowing you too well.
Or of my being too close to you.
Can you ever,
Even after living your whole life in it,
Know a city too well?

A Light In The Fog
The long nights were dark and the short days seemed darker
The sun tries to rise but even the moon's glow is brighter
I'm just searching for something to give me a sense of hope
Even though I'm another typical fool who should just learn to let go
Eyes grow dim as time goes on
It's a sin to be this strong
I'm going through life and only seeing blurry faces
It's too harsh when all forms of trust are blind
I've walked this world and noticed nothing really changes
Every step seems futile and every dream is a sleeping lie
All souls cannot be shrouded
All hope cannot be abandoned
I needed a reason / To keep me breathing
So please pay heed to the pleas / I don't want the dim lights to leave
And then I caught a glance of you and instantly knew
That I gave up too easily, thinking you wouldn'

on the edge of genesis, floating in motes
of static. On the surface, it seems at ease.
Light filters through oak leaves and coats
its thrall, the summer heat's slow weave
through the river's margins to the throat

the moon tonight. Simply, this white note

He was seventeen when he died.
I never went to the funeral
but I walked past it the day of
the service. His mother
was in the backseat of a blue Dodge,
door open, head in her hands.
"My baby," she kept repeating.
"My baby." It would go from sobbing, to
screaming, to a soft whisper that
I could only hear being carried
on the wind.
It was a Wednesday afternoon that they found
his old red pickup truck parked
out front of Slim's, two beer bottles in
the back and the windows cracked to let the stale
I heard that his dad told the police he was
gonna take that old truck and fix it up, because
he had promised his son before—
because it's always in the before—
And in the after, his mother never had dry eyes
and I'm pretty sure my mom told me
that she saw his dad at the bar every night,
drinking his sorrows down because some people can't
handle the stress.
Some people can't figure out why their son would

Where were you when our hearts divided?
You said we’d always be united!
You were my breath into my mouth
The name I use to shout
But in your eyes is blood
Your sins over-flood
I struggle just to breathe
My skin tears beneath your teeth
I am your everlasting victim
Your DNA runs throughout my system
My body is completely yours
But this is what I endure
You’re the enigma in my life
Continuing to thrust the knife
I am dying with apathy eyes
I’ve been filled with filthy lies
For I am your entity
Your incessant chemistry
Bound by the lies in your veins
My existence is trapped in chains
But to you…I am your light
I’m what makes your heart ignite
I’m the antidote to your innocence
I am your very synthesis
You’re in forever stagnation
And I’m your only salvation
Trapped by innocent, trapped by pain
Trapped by torture you can’t sustain
We are a unity, we are one
The only something you can’t outrun
I am you and you are me

Uncorrupted rays shone on the pedestal
As it always had when it first was epochal,
There it held the Blade of Evil Bane;
Which at first King of Evil thought it to be legerdemain.
Master Sword only could repel nefarious demons away,
It was working one-way.
Blessed to harm all things sinister.
The pure saber also was key to open Sacred Realm, to the Golden Triforce
Created by three goddesses with their life-source,
Forced to remain in sanctuary.
Inside of Temple of Time, the Chamber of Sages had only shown itself to these few chosen ones,
Ancient cathedral was hidden inside Hyrule Town
Once activated the seal, it became time travel,
To past from future;
To future from past;
Through the flumes, you heard the Prelude of Light playing
It took you back to place where it all started.
Light PokemonLight-type Pokemon work best as "support" Pokemon. Despite not being too offensively powerful in their own right, they have a wide variety of recovery, stat boosting and status preventing moves. Due to their nature many light Pokemon can also access a variety of Fire, Grass and Psychic-type moves. Light Pokemons' specialty is recovery, healing, and safeguarding moves, making long battles with them potentially frustrating. Because of this, they are an especially valuable asset in double battles.Light Pokemon6 years ago in General Fiction
Offensively, this type's capabilities are limited. They only have a small number of damage-dealing moves, and have underwhelming ATK and SPATK stats. However, Light-type moves' effectiveness against other types makes up for this shortcomings. They are the only type that does super-effective damage against both Ghost and Dark types, negating the absence of weaknesses dual Dark/Ghost types once had.
Defensively, light is one of the most competant types. To make up for its low attack stats, this ty

Brick walls to keep us imprisoned,
Blocked out from any source of light.
Demons attacking from the utter darkness,
Tearing at us, trying to kill our spirits.
Continually they come, with claws against flesh...
God I pray to You,
Begging for forgiveness.
In our dying hour we cry for You,
As we hit the ground, with bodies bleeding.
These ugly creatures upon us, wanting our souls,
We cry, we cry, we cry for You.
In a flash like Lightning You came,
With a wave of Your hand the creatures tremble.
They beg You not to harm them,
But Your Light, Your Holiness burns them.
They flee into the darkness they came from,
As You come to us and lift us up.
You mend the wounds and heal the scars,
"You are Forgiven.'
With that Saving Grace we are made new,
In the Glorious Splendor of Your Light.

Wings Of Light
Upon me is the last dawn
Faded away has the last dusk
I leave behind all of the rights and wrongs
I don't deserve an afterlife that is also rough
Mesmerized in deep suspense
As I await the final arrival
My tears become so intense
These last moments of hope are vital
Allow me to break away
Accept the toll of my undying faith
I was careless as I fell
Mocking life itself
Every secret I held
Defined a broken side of myself
An inner slaughter I could not defend
A one-sided war that I could not fight against
My downfall is what I didn't want to prevent
I always lusted after the idea of my final descent
Because I knew that in the end I would ascend
All I can really do is live this divided life as best as I can
I realized that the only thing in perfection is being broken
And the only way to get rid of that is to wipe out my existence
Shine down and shine true
I will no longer be powerless
You don't know how long I've been waiting for you

For my stellar light turns feeble.
Do I want to see?
I’m trying to find shelter into my own shadow,
For it drags me to The Hollow -
The hungering night that bends my mind.
Will I ever be refined?
For my stellar light is flashing,
Do I really want to see?
Instill blood into my veins,
For I have been dehumanized –
I’m tangled up with an eternal haze.
Only the darkness remains.
For my stellar light has died,
I don’t want to see…

You looked at your classmate, Light Yagami, he was gorgeous, all the girls liked him and you had an extremely low chance with him. But you still had a huge crush on him. One you knew wouldn't go away easily. He glanced over at you with a confused look. Oh no! He caught me staring at him again! You felt a blush run across your face and you hurry to look back at the teacher. After moment you felt a tap on your shoulder and look over to see Light looking at you "____, Did you need something? It looked like you needed to ask me something" You panicked for a second "Um, yeah. I wanted to take notes but, you know, I um don't have a pen on me." He smiled at you and you felt your blush grow "Here, use mine. I already know this stuff so I don't really need to take notes," You took the pen and accidently brushed his hand "S-sorry" He laughed his usual good-tempered laugh "It's ok" you turned back to the teacher and took out your notebook. You couldn't pay attention to the class; the feel

Skyclad, spellbound in the poetry of the wind;
where shamans roam, lone and dreaming

"seek you me... fall thee unto the light of darkness"
And I peered, lusting, deep into twilight-feasting
Forest spectres poured worlds upon my breath;

Rising in awakened visions and creation foretold

Worlds braided into one when I closed my eyes

The most dreadful winter of my life came.
I abandoned the idea of a blossoming future,
Fled the misery of my own motherland,
For a woman I have far too often dreamt of.
Among the singing buds of the Shinto shrine
A white plum caresses my back,
Its petals lull me, my eyes are sealed, sweet reverie,
A convent of grass
The junk of my thoughts
Send me to Amaterasu.
Blushing Lotus, enticing Lilacs, panting Azaleas,
So many mistresses!
Enough perfumes to be drunk from them.
Why, my promise, have I been waiting so long to join you?
Your hair like Sakura flowers
Your laughters sound like Shamisen.

L and Light were in their office, working on a new case.
L sighed as he looked over at Light, recently, L realised he had an odd feeling whenever he was around Light but he could never seem to quite figure out what it was that he was feeling.
After a moment L looked at light again, at his brown hair, his amber eyes, his body... I wonder...this feeling...is it - could it be -
"Ryuuzaki? Is something wrong?"
L was brought back to reality with a thump.
Amber eyes locked with deep black, and L felt a light blush grace his cheeks.
"N-no, I'm fine, Yagami-kun,"
Light stood up and walked over to L
Light was standing right in front of L now, and he felt himself blush even more. L cursed under his breath at himself.
"Are you sure about that, Ryuuzaki? You seem...kinda, well....different, not yourself,"
L looked away for a moment, and Light had a feeling that L was rather nervous, well, as far as he could guess, anyway.
