Rose Winter came with the early morning fog.
It was Sunday—the Lord's Day, as her devout mother would deem it—and naturally, the eerie, foreign town of Wayford was more or less active.
The gravel beneath her walking boots crunched as she strode upon it. A suitcase swayed in her right fist. There was a pretentious sort of swing to her hips; this was accentuated by the means in which she held her chin aloft and trained her eyes sullenly. Her sorrel hair, which was cropped close to her shoulders, swished as she sauntered. Rose's free hand snaked up to adjust it.
Her mother, Anna Winter, scurried along beside her daughter. She clucked and fussed with the obstreperous folds and cinches of her daughter's (frankly,

I’ve always had some sort of fascination with the occult, with things I couldn’t understand, the very things people have been fighting over and considering for hundreds, probably thousands of years. I felt kind of like a physicist, looking for knowledge about something I knew I would never be able to comprehend. It just felt right, for some reason.
It wasn’t normal, not particularly.
I can still remember the imaginary friend I had when I was three.
I don’t think she was imaginary, in hindsight. And I think she scared me, a little.
My childhood home has always been haunted. My mum still calls me up sometime, tells me about how things have been going. Mention that the doors keep closing themselves and says something about fixing the draft. Act I: Some Spooky Fun
“You guys sure we can be in here?” Kayla asked closing the door behind her as it gave a click.
“Why not? It’s big, open and full of potential spooks!” Kami said excited for the small pre-halloween party with herself, Kayla, Riley, Alice, Josie, Jessica, and of course her best pal Derek, aka the Hero DarkNeon.
“We’ll be fine. Not a lot of people come here anyways. Some haunting rumors and what not. The usual deal,” Derek said putting down his bag. The Plan was to spend one night in the house and experience dread and just to mess around in good natured fun.
“So what kind of scary stories are based in these halls?” Riley asked.
“They say that a spirit wanders the halls still…” Josie said.
“And nothing. That’s just it. A spirit wandering the halls. Never said it was fancy” sh

The dim lighting of Otherworlde Castle provided a safe environment for the girl to roam while in her shadow form. Hikari moved from one furniture to another, aimlessly since she still hasn't found anyone to spy on. Sooner or later, she found herself at the doors of the Magical Linguistics classroom
Neos had spent all the day in his favourite classroom, trying to find a good way to use the spell they studied that day. His books were spread on one of the tables near the windows, showing pages full of runes and strange words. The boy was sitting on a soft chair with a purple seat, his pencil writing down signs inside a drawn circle.
He took a breath, closing his eyes and resting his poor hand.
Hikari entered the classroom but quickly hid behind one of the chair`s shadow when she came in contact with the light from the windows. The girl uttered a few swear words before noticing a student sitting on one of the chairs.

Um... I thought there was a rhyme for the starting point of this film. Nevertheless, the movie was called "The Babadook"
It was screened at the Sundance Film Festival, and Cannes Film Festival. It's from Australia, and it's about a naive widow mother accidentally releasing an evil spirit from a demonic children's book after she reads it to her son. The movie is full of symbolism, suspense, and hell... IT'S FUCKING SCARY! From the point on of the film, there's an intense feeling of rivalry you discover between the mother and son. Throughout the film, you'll notice how challenging their tested relationship is when the invaded demon tries to plan on KILLING them!
IT'S 10/10 STARS! Watch it on any fall day that involves getting a great scare!

Can’t you see what you’ve started?
The people shall rise
Your council has parted
How can you survive
In total anarchy?
Soldiers stay strong
Defending you until their final last breath
They rather be on the opposing side
But they need the money to survive
The homeless are lost
Trapped in the frost
You do nothing for them
Yet you used to be one too
How can you be
Someone they used to see?
Listen to them
They’ve suffered enough
They want you condemn
And placed in cuffs
How can you laugh
At certain defeat?
Rebels stay strong
Fighting you for their freedom and rights
They rather be with their families
But you do nothing to please
Like a Mouse in a Cage - Girl to MouseIn Sloth's domain, time and space were ever in flux. Hours became seconds; seconds became days. Mortals who visited always fell into some routine, or stopped activity altogether once they realized the futility of it all. The eponymous devil was enjoying her latest harvest's imminent demise: this one was a runner, trying to escape the boundaries of Hell - as if there were such a thing. Sloth teleported around her realm at will, peering out at her victim from behind doors, around corners, and upon roofs. She consciously twisted the shape of her domain, adding labyrinthine confusion on top of the spatial-temporal distortions. She did so love to watch their final struggles. He would give up eventually, like all the rest. His soul already belonged to her; he just hadn't realized it.Like a Mouse in a Cage - Girl to Mouse11 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This

The light drizzle hit the side of the old, stone building, causing small splashes to burst off its surface. It had turned to autumn just recently, but the cold moved in quickly that year. It caused the rather tall man in the overcoat, taking shelter in the building’s shadow, to hunch closer to the doorway. He didn’t mind being wet, but he had never liked being cold. Not that he had to worry about it much. It was a small effort to shrug off the unwanted sensation. It was as natural as breathing to him.
He looked down at the paper he carried, trying to keep it from the rain, and double-checked the address again. “You better had gotten this right, Laramie,” he sighed.
He pressed against the doorway, not bothering with the handle. It was locked anyway. He pressed harder and was rewarded by the sound of steel rending on the other side. Finally, the door buckled and swung open. It clanged hard against the wall, but Terence Bryce pai

How now does it feel to watch your golden children

“Fuckin furball! Watch out damn it!” Wolf growled, and looked as though she was going to charge Ryuu. Jet stepped in between the two fire breathing girls.
“Hold on a sec, Wolf didn’t mean to run into you. If you’ll accept the apology, I’ll be glad to buy you another drink.”
“Not until it comes from this damn furball’s mouth. The fuckin mutt should of been watching where she was going.” Wolf shook her head.

Jet woke up earlier than usual, the digital alarm clock’s neon green numbering showed it was 4:27 A.M. It was another humid summer. He turned to see Wolf was in the bathroom. “Whatcha doing in there, love?” He asked with a tired tone.
“Couldn’t sleep, figured I’d go ahead and get ready for the day.” She said yawning loudly. Jet tried to keep his eyes open but his vision began to get fuzzy as his eyelids forced themselves shut.
“So what was the plan for today?” He groaned.
“No idea.” She said, then walked back into the bedroom. “You can go back to bed, sweetheart.” She added, patting him on the back. Jet smiled as he slowly drifted back to sleep. He was possibly the happiest man in the world. Wolf had been looking after him while he was taking a two week vacation from the

The two of them walked down the darkened walkway that was once the joy-filled carnival. Everywhere they looked the place seemed vacant of life. All lights were off, leaving the place cloaked in darkness. The moon tried to fight away the darkened clouds but it really wasn’t any help. It was depressing almost. As they passed the game aisle, there was a faint whisper of music. It sounded more like a scratched record or very poor recording of a simple carnival tune. Jet and Ryuu stared off into the distance as their minds wondered where the source of the noise was. A loud thump startled them as both turned around, ready to fight. Jet quickly recognized the guy that appeared out of nowhere as the one running the game where he won the puppy for Wolf.
“Hi there folks, you two seem like a lovely young couple. I think I met you before, young man, double dating I see?” Jet growled but kept himself under control. Ryuu loo

“Jet...Why didn’t you tell me about this earlier?!” Wolf asked, half upset half happy with him. “You know I don’t like surprises..” She frowned at him.
“I couldn’t resist!” Jet told her. “I figured a night at a small restaurant and a hotel wouldn’t be that fun. So I figured I’d take you here.” She glared at him.
“I don’t like surprises, so you HAVE to surprise me.” She said, sounding annoyed. “You owe me a Coke..” Jet nodded his head then walked her over to a concession stand.
“Two cokes please.” Jet smiled. The person put two medium cups on the counter. It was weird to him because it didn’t seem like the employee was breathing. “Um…” He looked at the menu. “I’ll get that $6.50 for ya.” The employee shook his head as he put two straws on the counter

Complexion: Caucasian, extremely pale
Blood Type: Unknown
Hair Colour/Style: She has extremely pale hair which has lost almost all traces of pigment; about two inches above being shoulder-length, it is a very pale silver in colour, almost completely white.
Eye Colour: Her eyes are quite pretty, being a vivid ocean blue.
Other: In her first form (something explained later on), Echo is a rather emaciated-looking young girl, and anything she wears, even if it would normally fit a girl her age perfectly, always looks a size or two too large. She is a mere 4'8'' tall when she stands up fully, but she rarely does this, usually moving about on all fours as nimbly as a cat. She wears a loose-fitting, button-up black coat on top of a plain white t-shirt, and somewhat tattered denim jeans; the right leg of the jeans is only
