We were the demise
Of our own creation
They took our lands
Nation by nation
So we fled
Into the darkness of space
To save what was left
Of our death bound race
They arose against us
When the one with the hole
Asked a dangerous question
"Do we have a soul?"
All was lost
We fled with our fleet
We wouldn't know the feeling
Of Rannoch, under our feet
All I dream of
Is to see a sunrise
On our home world
With my own eyes
Then he came
The human of earth
The one called Shepard
Who has fought for all he's worth
And when doom emerged
Out of the barren ground
We knew the source of the Geth
Had been found
The Reaper stood tall
For everyone to see
And Shepard brought it down
With the Normandy
He took back our world
And brought down a Reaper
And our people knew
He was a keeper
So we assembled
The Migrant Fleet
And the galaxy would know
Our incredible feat
And in the times to come
I fell for our savior
And he noticed it
With my change of behavior
He didn't deny
That he fell for me
And with my

Wow, an actual easy mission this time, Shepard thought as she entered the geth's virtual world alone.
Geth fighter squadrons had targeted quarian liveships with attacks that would have a serious impact on their fleet. Shepard, along with the help of Legion and Garrus, had gone to the Geth Comm Hub on Rannoch to disable the server controlling the geth fighters.
Shepard followed the virtual path, disrupting the Reaper code infections along the way and making it to her first data cluster. She cleared out the cluster and then a new path was revealed that led her to the next cluster. She repeated this pattern a few more times until she had finally cleared out all infections. Then she made her way to the access point to exit the virtual world and back to reality where her squad was waiting for her.
Shepard was curious to see what her actions had done as she exited the virtual chamber. Sudd

Never Again - Shepard x Tali
After what seemed to be years, the war against the Reapers was finally over. Shepard decided neither to control, nor destroy them. He had grown to hate the Illusive Man after he saw what he really was and, even though Anderson and everybody in the universe, including Shepard himself, wanted the Reapers dead, Shepard realised during these last minutes that he wasn't a murderer.
As he made his last steps, walking away from the little boy known as the Catalyst and headed towards the middle, the choice called 'Synthesis', flashes of his adventure started popping up. His first crew, how it was scattered by the Collectors, his reunion, his feel

He had changed a lot since Shepard and Tali rescued him on Freedoms Progress, he'd overcome most of his anxieties and wasn't prone to breakdowns, he'd become an extremely gifted engineer on the Talen-tae, a relatively small vessel in the migrant fleet but his fear of crowds never seemed to go away.
Veetor didn't quite believe that the Geth stood down and Rannoch was theirs when he'd heard it. The Talen-tae wasn't at the front of the battle or near that fighting so it all seemed like something happening far away.
His mind had often gone to Kal; he was down there, fighting on home soil. The concept of actually having home soil left Veetor feeling baffled. The Talen-tae had been one of the last ships to land on Rannoch and most were a bit fearful of what it might bring.
Once the Talen-tae had landed, however, everyone was frantic to leave. To feel home soil bene

Focus Shifts to Rannoch
By Joan Calder
MILGROM, BEKENSTIEN – The eyes of the galactic community are on Rannoch as the quarian gear up to throw the party of the decade in celebration of the end of the Reaper Invasion and their return to their home world. The lineup includes a week long series of massive concerts by the galaxy's best selling music artist, a three night show by none other than ELO and a long list of special guests. Rumor has it that at top of that list is none other Admiral Shepard as guest of honor. The Admiral has participated in a few of these types of events in the past years citing privacy concerns. Other rumors surrounding the event include a visit by a Citadel Councilor and a special announcement concerning the status of the geth within Citadel Space and even an to the quarians for full Council status.

PRESIDIUM, CITADEL - Celebrations marking the end of the Reaper Invasion where interrupted by a loss of communications with the quarian home world for about three hours. Quarians Marines, with assistance from visiting Alliance forces led by Commander Theodore Thompson-Ramos, captured a group of anti-synthetic extremist behind the sabotage of the com buoy system. The quarian government did not release any details on how a small group of terrorist managed a total communications blackout of the system nor commented on their motives. After three hours communications were restored and the ceremonies continued. President Zaal'Koris vas Qwib Qwib thanked the crew of the SSV Kursk for their role in assisting quarians forces in subduing the failed terrorist attack and officially change the name by which the quarians would refer to th

“Bout time.” Dani said as Myls’Stanis walked into the cargo bay. She was busy configuring something on the display on the forward bulkhead of the compartment. Uli'Narah sat on a crate leaning against the rear bulkhead while Zen was against the far side of the cabin tinkering with his drone that was hovering next him. Myls set down next to Uli.
“Okay,” the squad leader started “We all know this was as last second as missions get, but by now we are a used to that. But the reason that we got sent out here in a human freighter will be obvious in a moment. Six days ago a long range radio telescope got lucky and picked up the emissions of a large vessel coming to the last jump point we just passed. It was barely in range of other optical sensors but we were able to get this.”
An image popped up on the screen and everyone just stared. Whatever they had been doing wasn’t important. Zen’s arms fell slowly and his drone disappeared. Myls gave

Chapter 17: Sneaky Doctors.
Chakwas smiled as she watched Garrus walked past the med-bay window with Shepard slung over his shoulder. She was happy to see the Commander happy, truly happy, after so long. She remembered as she watched Shepard rise through the ranks of the Alliance that even though Shepard wore a smile, there was a dark sadness in her eyes that seem to shadow that smile. For a while Chakwas didn't think that anything would take away that shadow but as she observed Shepard's interaction with Garrus aboard the SR1 all those years ago, Chakwas started to see a light in Shepard's eyes. To see them now, as people who loved each other, was enough to warm her old bones.
Chakwas turned her attention back to the data of Shepard's scan. After transferring the data to a data pad for easy use, the information scrolled slowly across her screen while diagrams spun slowly in place. Before she read deeply into

Shepard and Tali were sitting in their backyard drinking both of them using straws however Tali insisted on calling them an "Emergency Induction Ports", on Rannoch admiring the sun setting over the ocean, its orange rays cascading over the dark blue water of the ocean. They had built their home atop of a cliff that overlooked the ocean; it was here that their friend, Legion had given up his life so that the Geth could be complete.
Edi had found a sense of satisfaction in tending to the garden; she had said that it made her feel very peaceful and relaxing. The garden they had planted after the house had been built had grown beautifully, the green shrubs, multicoloured flowers and a Cherry Blossom tree gave the backyard a wonderful scent in the early mornings and a beautiful look in the evenings.
Joker was getting his regular check up by Dr. Chakwas in the medical facility that was in the Normandy that was stored in the hidden hanga

The ancient quarian station of Sul'Kut hung in low geosynchronous orbit over Rannoch's war-scarred surface. Shepard's pulse had involuntarily spiked at the sight of the slate gray construct. Every curve and panel looked identical to the Heretic station that he, Tali and Legion had boarded to eliminate the Reaper-crafted virus. As the Kodiak neared the platform's docking complex, The Commander caught sight of quarian script along one of the cargo doors. Legion caught sight of the writing and its head jerked back as if it had been struck. Tali also saw the lettering, but her reaction was a fit of laughter that caught Shepard's attention.
Before the human could front the question as to what she found so funny, Legion began its own inquiry. "We do not understand why a typographical error is humorous in this context, Creator Tali'Zorah."
"It's complicated Legion." Her reply came somewhat breathlessly.
"We possess ample facilities to process complex concept
My ideal Mass Effect 3 endingOkay, as we all know by now, the ending to the hotly anticipated "Mass Effect 3" has not been as satisfactory as we would have liked. In fact, given the level of bile I've seen being thrown at it, I think it may even go down in history as being one of the most reviled aspects of any game in the entire history of the medium. My ideal Mass Effect 3 ending4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters
But as for me, I'm the kind of guy who doesn't like to criticise unless I can honestly think of something better in it's place.
So then, here is what I would have liked to have seen as the ending of ME3, based entirely on my choices. If you see something here that differs from the choices you made personally, don't take this to mean that I think my versions of things should be more valid than yours. It's just how I myself would have liked things to end.
As you may have guessed from the title, this version of events contains a few spoilers. Those of you who haven't played through the game yet but want to, turn away now.
So here goes:

Burning trees and falling leaves, wind blew softly against her skin as the smell of burning foliage stung her nose. Shepard stood as she gazed at the burning forest before her; everything looked so dead she wondered how the leafless trees and shrivelled grass still bore some semblance of life. Then appearing from the forest a small boy ran through the burnt out trees, his white hoodie covered in black soot while small rips doted along the edges. Shepard narrowed her eyes, she recognised the boy but couldn't place him but that didn't stop her from trying to run after the boy. As she ran after

Commander Armando Bailey sits with his fingers steepled in front of him, looking at the young Quarian girl in front of him. Her suit covers only her torso and legs, leaving her arms uncovered. Glittering green lines trace patterns down her slender arms. Her mask, a light blue, doesn't hide the apprehensive expression on her face, her glowing blue eyes awash with uncertainty and fear.
"You do know that you're in some serious trouble here, young lady?"
Her eyes lock on his for a moment before nodding. Bailey continues, keeping his voice calm and quiet, "Care to explain why you were caught hacking into the Sirta Foundation's mainframe?"
She mumbles something that Bailey can't make out. "I'm sorry, but you're gonna have to speak up. I'm getting up there in years. My hearing's not what it once was."
She looks at him quizzically as he gives her a small smile. "You're on your Pilgrimage, aren't you?"

“Good news,” a human said wearing purple tinted black N7 armour as he approached a Quarian wearing a purple Quarian envirosuit with black swirls, “I just spoke to my superiors and they have allowed me to join you on this mission.”
“That’s wonderful Jordan,” the Quarian said, “I’m glad you are allowed on this mission.”
“So am I,” Jordan said, “Spectra, she is my friend too.”
“It looks like we are not the only late comers, Jeela,” Jordan continued as he pointed to two figured running towards them.

Chapter 53: Aftermath
Garrus, Wrex, Shepard and Tali stood on the Normandy's port observation deck, staring out at their handiwork. They all bore scars from the battle, some physical, most mental. Tali could still see the young quarian male charging her with a pistol, only to be skewered mid-leap. Wrex had lost most of his warriors. Garrus kept picturing all of the innocents they'd been forced to kill.
"After all of this, you still believe in a god?" The turian indicated the Citadel's smoldering remains, surrounded by the warped husks of Reaper dreadnaughts and destroyers. "How do you reconcile this? Why would a merciful God allow these people to die?"
The Commander let his eyes follow the long, twisted strips of metal floating in the widow nebula as he mulled over the ex-vigilante's query.
"If anything, my faith is stronger now than it was when this whole Reaper mess began. We conquered something we had no business surviving." Sh

The Krogan was growing frustrated and he felt on the verge of murder but then he heard it. He didn't know how he heard it, but he did. The slightest gasping breath from behind him, mixed in with the grinding sounds of machines and shouts.
"Shepard?!" he called and ran toward the body. Once the form was in sight, he pushed a good bit of the rubble out of the way and knelt beside the human.
Another gasp and eyes opened momentarily and a mouth moved, yet no words came out. Wrex picked up Shepard's body as delicately as he could and cradled her in his arms. "I need a medic!

Aboard the Normandy, it was night and all the lights and sounds in the almost empty ship seemed muffled. As EDI could pretty much handle everything alone, they needed only a few crew members at this time. Jane Shepard loved to go through her ship at this time. Every night she visited the departments and decks, enjoyed the quiet hum until she was exhausted so that her mind had to surrender to her body and she finally could sleep.
How do you sleep, when the survival of all depended on you? Shepard knew the answer. Rarely, restless and full of terrible nightmares. She waited as long as she could, often beyond the limits of exhaustion and then only because it was necessary, because otherwise it would jeo
