from out of the deep,
in the black tide,
the red wake
of past transgressions
in the dry maw of future dreams
on the failing credit
I can hear them,
from star to star,
words made meaningless,
hollow without truth,
from a thousand mouths,
as fruitless prayers,
falling on the deaf ears
of a dying deity.
And so we bare the flesh,
before a voyeuristic sun,
and yet captivated,
we taste the sweet flavor
of strawberry lips
and lose ourselves
in the writhing
of dew glistened hips,
in the thoughtless pleasures

in the stagnant jet wash
of our ravenous gluttony.

Survival Guide to Being Nice on the InternetI manage to be really nice on the internet, in fact. Just as nice as I am in real life (which is about... pretty nice.)Survival Guide to Being Nice on the Internet7 hours ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
The internet is not a happy place for everyone to be.
Now I'm acting like the internet is really a place, and not just a collection of messages and pixels and crap all over.
Now, in order to be nice on the internet, there are a couple rules you need to know, so here it is, How to be Nice on the Internet
When you're on the internet, first thing you need to know is that with such a large community, anyone can be offended by anybody. So the first rule:
Don't say anything.
Anything you say could be taken as something offensive, or unkind, or stupid, and there is hardly a way to stop such a thing. Anyone who reads it could think you're some jerk.
Next rule: If you do say something, give in. Immediately.
If you say something, and someone says you're wrong, or offensive, give in. Tell them you are. Don't even try to be liberal about it. You wrote it, so you're the bad

I didn’t realize how heavily the secret of the dark power weighed on my shoulders. I didn’t expect the immense pressure that lifted once everyone knew. I felt light, free, and happy for once in my life. Having the secret revealed was a blessing, it made the others somehow respect me. Even their suspicions slowly dried up. I was so encouraged after revealing that dark secret that I even contemplated showing at least Jeff what was under my mask… maybe telling him I was blind…
But not now. Not now… not this minute. In a little bit! But not at this moment. I didn’t want to ruin the good mood. I had just fixed the weakness problem I was having. With the ability, I was no longer a weakling. I wanted it to stay that way.
If I showed Jeff the scars… the terrible burns… the misty eyes… Those pieces of me

Chryses sighed as he observed his sleeping siblings. Honestly he hated being the early riser. Nobody was ever awake when he was and he usually had nothing to do. He would've loved to go outside and find something to do, but it was so cold...As adventurous as the kit was, he didn't dare go out there by himself. He made a small whining noise as he curled his tail around him waiting for some kind of entertainment.
Genevieve was fast asleep, curled up with her siblings. She always slept in the middle, hating to be cold in anyway. She woke up however, yawning hugely as she did and looked around. It was early, she knew that. She hated waking up early, and was ready to go back to sleep. However she heard a small whining noise, and she looked around. It sounded like it came from her and her bundled siblings. "
Damasen's Sermon The problem with being free is the very fact that once you finally have that freedom, you lose the fire that once burned in you. Much like the cows of human consumption, the mind of a free cat if you will is docile. That desire to truly live has been snuffed out. The battle for freedom was won on that day, but the war is far from over.Damasen's Sermon2 hours ago in Philosophical More Like This
When you grow up in a world of stone and dust, the very idea of something as soft as the grass or breeze of a spring day is enough to make you yearn for freedom. Once that seed is sewn, it is already too late. The weeds of desire and passion will over take the garden of rationality a cat was raised on.
Still they fight, even to their dying breath. None living to be more than five at the luckiest. Never knowing the pain old age brings, or the heartache of true betrayal. Always being thrown in and out of the fray. A moments rest almost impossible, the human lust for carnage never truly satisfie

Here goes nothing...
You are my Moonlight
Everyday I await your arrival
The sun has set now, clocks are ticking fast
For when you show you are my revival
I look over the lands that seem so vast
The days have worn thin as land has turned to white
But I will still wait for you to arrive
For thou has been my lover since forever
When I am with you I feel so alive
We riot against the feelings of fear
For safety overrules when together
Starbound we are as the moon awakens
Here is the moon high in all its glory
I bask in your loving moonlight tonight
Now forever becomes eternity.

-Sorry for the late update. School and such just won't stop-
This song is a contribution to the Sinner of Gluttony, CyberCanadian. This song is a mixture of mostly somber rock with parts of aggersive guitar solos now and then. You can try and sing along with it, so I hope you guys enjoy!
4. Man of Metal
I was once normal,
not a victim of circumstance.
I wasn't formal,
but strong enough to take a chance.
A warrior of pure heart,
not covered in metal and wiring.
It's tearing me apart,
the life I had is now spiraling
Away (...way, way, way...Away, way, way, way)
Someone, help me!
Someone, save me!
I don't want to be like this!
It's killing me inside!
Save from this nightmare!
-Somber guitar solo-
Back in my old life,
I wanted to be my very best.
But there was a sacrifice,
that was hard, but never did I rest.
The cause for my fight,
to show that I was so brave.
Now, I'm stuck in the night
and fighting for the life that I crave.
But now, the fight is going away...

Things you ignore that I know,
Shattering windows to my soul,
Eyes that while staring
Began to grow blurry,
Motion's a flurry
Til these windows are slurry,
Gelatinous mess is
Words, pretty dressings,
Sharp points poking fingers,
On the spits, sizzling singers
Yap and throw zingers
In these sightless eyes,
Which have ceased to feel
Since the piercing of steel
Stole the light
And with it, my sight,
And now I just sit
In my pile of shit,
Alone in the dark,
And it's for the best
At least, that's what I've heard
From people in zest.
ArachnophobiaArachnophobia, fear of spidersArachnophobia4 hours ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Those eight legged
Death defying species
That shows up uninvited to your home
Crawling on walls
Or sticking to a ceiling
That sends shivers straight down your spine
Getting the sense of something
Crawling up along your leg
When cooked up the nerve
To catch a creepy crawly
With a magazine in one hand
And a plastic cup in the other
You feel brave enough to conquer the phobia
But, fail to catch the tiny beast,
It escapes with speed
Dragging the long thin legs behind
And hides away outta sight
Waiting for the right time for revenge
Once spotted either crawling
Across the ground
Even along your bedside,
It seems as if it can smell fear
Watching you with a hundred eyes
With only two eyes you're fixed on the insect
Thinking where it might go
Making a sudden movement, it moves closer
But almost feels as if it made an attack, you faint
That is the moment you realise you have Arachnophobia.

Blessed words of the God-breathed Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:16)
Those words always bring fullness to my heart
My muscles and my mind
His ears, they're so quick to listen to what I say
His nose, scrunches and twitches to my stories
His hands, always ready to curl in a paw position

Places we hope to travel together in the future...

What can really open your eyes.
One tiny moment,
Or huge event.
Can make such a mental movement.
I can feel it rising up,
Coming in close.
A realization is happening,
Thoughts enter my mind,
They are opening my eyes.
What do i see?
It's coming at me fast,
Sadly at last...
I see the future coming to me,
It's new and maybe fun.
But what i'm feeling,
Is squeezing me.
I'm not a kid anymore...
Is hitting me.
So much at once,
I have no clue what to do!
But no one can help me like they used to...
I have to face it,
I have to grow past my sloth, greed, lust, envy, wrath, gluttony, and pride of my past...
And embrace the unknown future...
Don't let me go alone...

Beyond Believing by D.D. Marx ReviewBeyond Believing by D.D. Marx Review5 hours ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
The debut installment of author D.D. Marx’s Beyond series promises a story of how a woman’s friend’s death turns her world upside down, she finds corruption in the company for which she works, and finds solace in her cousin’s residence. The writer dedicates her book to individuals named Maddie, Ryan, and Danny, not to mention beloved friends and family that inspired the author to achieve her dreams, along with her mentor. In the prologue, protagonist and first-person narrator Olivia “Hank” Henry acknowledges her addiction to friendship, her family having lived across America, she and her sister attending separate schools, and talks about various friends, love at first sight, and experiences with alcohol.
The first main chapter opens with Olivia’s invitation to a Cougar concert alongside the news of her paternal grandmother’s death. The second chapter introduces the novel’s secondary narrator, Finn McDaniels, a self-described “

So, have a Mushcock that isn't a stable horse (or is but they are their own person if that makes any sense) that he can meet? I deal with War Studies and will be using his traits and talents from that and leveling him up so if you'd like to do so as well it can be great!
Please comment/note if you'd like to RP with us for now he is my only one that needs a RP partner but there may be more to come in the future
