A ease of mind to let express
Summer sun has slipped its shawl
Under quilt of greenest life
Let me lay against her side

Shells in rings from branches bend
As soft as words I could exchange
Between the earth we warmed and mend
Dewdrops from my eyes can see

To a golden wakened rise
Show her diamonds in the field

See a glow stretch arm to me

"Some wolves just aren't meant to run with the pack."
Nyru nodded slowly as her father explained her place in the world. She could feel the eyes of the other pups' parents as she walked home. They shook their heads at the sight of her and whispered things to their young ones. Nyru avoided their eyes as tears flowed freely down her cheeks.
"Why didn't you let them have the frog?" asked her father in a gentle tone. He understood his youngest daughter was different, but he worried constantly about her because of it.
"Those other pups weren't going to eat it, Daddy. They just wanted to hurt it." Nyru's tiny voice was barely over a soft whisper.
"But it's just a frog, Nyru. That's how pups play and learn to kill." Before they approached the entryway to their den, he stopped her so they could speak more privately. "You need to learn how to hunt, just like everyone else."
"I don't want to if it means killing little frogs." The young pup sat back with a plop and stared at the ground at
Monsters | OneshotChristopher made sure to flatten himself close to the ground, breath fast with excitement and heart beating so hard it threatened to jump out his chest. The nine year old knew that he'd have to be perfectly still now; perfectly still AND perfectly silent. As you see, he was almost entirely certain a monster lurked about. It was a gigantic monster at that, and if it found him he was sure it'd eat him. Monsters were supposed to do that to little boys like him.Monsters | Oneshot8 hours ago in Profiles More Like This
Of course, at any other time this monster would've just been his big brother Phillip. His big brother who never ever scared him and whose eyes only held kindness. Christopher absolutely loved his big brother. Though Philip couldn't be his big brother right now. Nope, right now he was the mysterious creature that'd stop at nothing until he was in his clutches. Christopher felt almost positive he'd actually escape this time!
Because, you see it was all about location.

"It'll be today. He'll come back today." A constant reminder that you'd pour out to yourself.
The window in front of you squeaks once you move your hand against it. Your fingers curl into a ball, eyes narrowing as you stared out. Many days had been marked in bold red on your calendar. Those days accumulated into weeks, and the weeks poured into months. Your hope was flickering like a withered candle at this point - maybe the optimism that held you together was tearing you apart.
By now, you figured it would be a waste of time to keep staring out the window. But when you'd get up to leave, or even skip your waiting session, there'd be a tingling in your gut. Your mind would be overwhelmed with a wave of thoughts, that for once weren't doubts. 'Be patient,' your thoughts would scold you, 'he's out there.' You'd loosely believe those thoughts, since by now, they had exhausted themselves.
It was a depleting feeling. Any news revolving around him, good or bad, you wanted t

You were at it again.
The moon had risen, gracing the world of the night with its gentle light, allowing its nocturnal creatures to wander about and attend to their needs. Yet, while every one of your friends and comrades had taken their rest, you paced.
Back and forth.
Back and forth.
You stood counting the cracks in the walls and the ceiling. You waited at the window, letting your breath fog the glass. You stared into the impending darkness. You watched as thoughts reeled in your mind over and over again, memories, flashbacks, irrational thoughts that made your stomach churn and your heart pound in your ears.
It was relentless in its torture.
However, you were not alone in your suffering.
You glanced over into the shadows. At first, you gasped, fearing a figment of your darkest fears had come to light.
Then, you saw them; soft pools of midnight, pale skin glowing in the silvery light, black locks

He carefully rearranged the silk ribbon on the red heart box, his heart feeling slightly jumpy and he could feel a lump in his throat from the excitement.
How was she going to react? Would she jump for joy, or would she slap him and walk off? Dirk's mind spun with endless possibilities as he thought of that beautiful face contorted into different expressions.
Maybe he should let her just eat the chocolate first, or leave the box in her mailbox. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he sighed in frustration. Stupid thoughts, always messing up his plans. It was hard enough to find everything he needed to create this perfect gift, and his thoughts kept swaying from reluctance to encouragement. He couldn't stop thinking about all the what ifs.

HumiliatedDorothy Breckenridge was a beautiful, sexy, hot and gorgeous looking girl, who was the daughter and only child of a very rich businessman. She had long curly blonde hair, water-blue eyes, snow-white skin, a sweet smile and a heart of gold. Next to that, she always wore a white blouse, black trousers, a blue top, white shoes and black headbands. No matter where she went, Doro (as many people called her, just like the German rock/metal star) stole the hearts of all the guys. If anyone whistled at her or called out her name, she would look over at them, blush, giggle and walk on. With the practiced motions of an expert, Colfax took aim and threw his grappling line upwards, hooking the safety pin on the rim of the jar on his first try.

You mainly had dark tan man with long purple hair in a ponytail to keep you company. He was also a day guard, his name was Vincent.
Vincent was pretty cool, he did flirt with you from time to time, but it was mainly playful. It was a few months after you had been put on the day shift, and today you were hanging out with him, watching over the children and the animatronics. "So, how long have you two been dating?"
