Cold, eerie light rippled against the tree bark, turning its light brownish color to a cool, soft blue. Near a small rock stood a beautiful white she-cat, her blue eyes gazed sightless around her. Other cats swarmed from behind the trees, tails flicking with anxiousness.
“There is evil in the forest” Rumbled a big, orange tom. His voice drowned by a cold, strong wind.
“What are we ever going to do!? We do not possess such power to defeat the enemy!” Wailed the white she-cat. Her blind gaze swept over the gathering cats.
“Sadly, I do not know… This enemy possesses such powers to great for us handle… Maybe if we joined forces with each other, we may be able to destroy it.” A dark tabby meowed, a hint of small worry in her voice.
“I don’t know Shallowstripe… The enemy seems too strong, I had to watch one of my clans brave warrior die today, and it was a very horrific way to die.” A starry speckled gray tom fretted.
“We can’t go on like this! We must find a solution to defeat the enemy once and for all!” The white cat howled above the strong wind.
“Your right, Silverhawk, we must-” But Silverhawk wasn’t paying attention to what the other cats where saying. Instead, she padded towards the stream and blindly looked at it. All of a sudden, her vision became clear, and she could see. She gasped in shock as she saw to small cats playing with each other. One was a mint colored tom with ocean blue eyes, and the other was a dark and light grey she-cat with piercing, blood red eyes. She narrowed her eyes and saw the grey she-cat tackle the mint colored tom, Silverhawk noticed how clean their attacks were, and they were swift and powerful. As Silverhawk looked closer, she realized these two cats were plainpaw and Darkpaw! Silverhawk shook her head and when she opened her eyes, she noticed her clear vision had returned to being sightless and blind. With her heart pounding loudly in her chest, she dashed back towards the group of cats, their heads close, their murmuring barely even a whisper. She laid down beside the rock and gathered the group closer and described her vision. The others cats eyes widened with shock as she told them about the two cats she saw. They then began to nod their heads, as if they had some kind of idea.
“Maybe the forest has a chance of surviving after all…” Muttered the big orange tom. All the cats looked above at the sky and closed their eyes. Silverhawk stood still at the base of the rock, her eyes gleaming with pleasure.
Please guide these cats to save our home, this is our only hope… She thought as she settled down on the cold, frost bitten ground and drifted into sleep…
Silverhawk woke to the sound of conversation in in front of the rock she slept beside. She sleepily stood on her wobbly legs and trotted towards them.
“Maybe we should send them a dream…” She heard a cat mutter quietly. Silverhawk reached the small group of cats and crouched beside a light tabby she-cat.
“What are you talking about?” Silverhawk meowed questionably, her blue eyes glimmered in the moonlight.
“We are talking about how to reach Darkpaw and Plainpaw, and tell them about their destiny.” The orange tom huffed. His spirit barely visible against the frost.
“Well, Bravefire, maybe you should visit them in their dreams, and tell them about their destiny.” Silverhawk suggested. Then she heard a loud voice.
“That’s what I was trying to TELL you!” The speckled grey tom whispered angrily to a golden colored she-cat with yellow eyes. The she-cat returned his anger with a sharp prod to his side, which was enough to send him staggering towards Silverhawk.
“Then it is decided, I will visit Darkpaw in a dream tomorrow, and you Bravefire, shall visit Plainpaw tomorrow night. We will speak to them about their destinies. Silverhawk dipped her head towards the orange tom,
“We will talk in the morning.” She walked steadily towards a hole in the rock and curled up inside it…
