and refusing to buy a bunch of really, REALLY cool stuff,

I, Graham

when the sun sets dawn,
and the demons come,
i will stay by you,
and i will watch you,
and i will protect,
fight and will defend,
i will keep you safe,
you're my little girl...

when they will come for you,
i'll be there fighting to,
protect you with my self,
protect you with my heart,
and when they will fall down,
i will run back to you,
and then i will remain,
until at rise you wake.

unknowing what has been,
this night you will not know,
because this night i know,
you wouldn't want to know,
i was protecting you,
just how i promised you

i felt like its the end,
but then i felt again,
that what i have for you,
had still remained in me,
but im to scared to tell,
don't want you leave again,
last time i almost died,
this time i won't survive..

and all i've promised you,
its all that is to keep,
its time to let you know,
all promisses i'll keep,
and when it feels so wrong,
but then it feels so right,
confusing all my bones,
too scared to say the words,

you probably figured out,
that it is you i want,
and i will do for you,
whatever i will need,
through the hell i'll go,
watching from every spot,
your soul i will keep safe,
that soul i will watch close.

i know you probably,
don't even feel the same,
this men that i've became,
i know i'm better now,
my fault i have repaired,
and from mistakes i've learned,
from child i became men,
i'll never hurt again,
the jerk i used to be,
that child i turned to be,
he is all gone for life,
and he'll never come back,
and i wish in the end,
maybe you feel the same,
maybe you will not go,
perhaps we could return.

but if that day won't come,
i'm still here by your side,
forever watching you,
this night i'll protect you,
and when the demons come,
for you i'll risk my life,
cuz i will protect you,
no matter what you do,

i'll be there behind you,
i will stay watching you,
i want to keep you safe,
cuz baby you so rare,
your hair i love to smell,
your eyes i love to stare,
your lips i love to kiss,
and hugging you's the best,
you're not like everyone,
girl you are just the best,
i'll tell you every day...

and as i'm sitting now,
writing all of this down,
thinking about you girl,
thinking about my heart,
still thinking on our past,
still wishing more to come,
but only time will tell,
but only time will tell...

God is in his holy temple

Last night I was flipping channels and came across Poltergeist II: The Other Side on Encore.  It was only fifteen minutes into the movie, so I decided to watch it for old time's sake.  I have to admit while it's not as good as the first, this one does hold up pretty good for a sequel.  It continues with the story of the Freeling family being attacked by spooks and has quite a lot of scares without any fatalities.  In fact I'd say it has a lot more scares and things popping out at the viewer to give a good fright.  The acting is superb with the returning cast (except for Dominique Dunne) and the villain, Henry Kane, played by the late Julian Beck, is beyond flawless.  To this day he still sends shivers down my spine.  He is by far one of the most creepiest characters ever.

All in all, the movie is a decent continuation to tie up the loose end left behind in the first.  I happen to be one of those few who liked the Poltergeist films.  Well, the first and second, couldn't stand the third.

Anyway, I'm watching the new episode of "Ghost Hunters" right now.  They said that someone from TAPS is getting eliminated that will change the series forever.  They didn't say who; probably saving it for the end.  I wonder who it could be?  I know Grant has been accused of faking paranormal evidence, plus he's away in this episode for personal reasons.  If anyone knows, don't tell me.  I'm still watching the show.  :XD:

Located in the middle of the old town of Lhasa, Jokhang Forehead is the first Buddhist temple in Tibet. It is also the Holy Forehead of all Tibetan Buddhists. All year-round many Tibetan Buddhists go on a pilgrimage to Lhasa,China travel service  from all over Tibet and other regions like Qinghai, Gansu and Inner Mongolia, and their place is the Jokhang Forehead.

In the middle of the 7th millennium, the excellent Tibetan Master of the Tubo Empire,Tibet tour  Songtsen Gampo (617- 650 AD) wedded the Nepalese Queen Tritsun and the China Queen Wencheng, each of whom introduced into Tibet a sculpture of Sakyamuni.

At that period there were very few structures and individuals were residing in camp tents, to say nothing of castles. To be able to enshrine and praise these two important sculptures, Queen Wencheng recommended that they develop two wats or temples. According to the tale, several flooding happened during the procedure of the development. White-colored goat's were used to bring sand and world to complete the river. Alright so its been a long time since I've posted any journal entries. In fact this is the second in my whole time on DA. haha. oh well.

I just want to yell hello to the world as I've finally gotten the hang of using my fail camera. So I am beyond happy, and making people jealous (Mae? =]. So I've decided that I might delay spending all my pocket money on an SLR and stick with it for some time.
On the weekend, our art class took us on a field trip to Wat Thad Tong temple. Lots of monks, stray dogs and gold-painted concrete. Woohoo. Anyhoooo. I took really bad pictures except for this one:…

Have a great day. Sorry to waste 2 minutes of your life, but really its appreciated. <3

Day 37 (August 9th, 2015):
Day 6: Cape Cod

Woke up at 10:40 this morning....shoot. Sleeping in is nice, but that is way too late for me! I shot out of bed to get the day started. I took a quick shower and pulled on some clothes. Went downstairs and everyone was awake, but was already done with breakfast. I got to have still warm homemade blueberry pancakes and sausage for breakfast! It was good, but it kinda stank being the only one eating at the table. I hurried up and finished. By now it was almost noon. I decided to go outside and practice some French again. I had the flirting unit I was itching to try!

It was cold outside which was surprising because it's August. It shouldn't be this cold! I had a sweater though so I curled in a chair and worked on Duolingo. I worked on my weak skills and then launched into the flirting unit. It was actually pretty cool. I whizzed through it rather quick and then moved on to French Adjectives. Once that was done, I received a new unit! French Idioms!! I'll save that for tomorrow! :)

I exited out of Duolingo and got a message on my iPad saying that I was running out of storage space. Huh....well I guess it is time for some cleaning! I went through my photos and deleted over 900 photos. They were all backed up anyway so it didn't matter. I then deleted some apps that I didn't use anymore, but kept the ones I needed. (Like Netflix!) Next was the music. I deleted a couple of albums I didn't listen to, but it was hard because I found myself listening to the music more than deleting them. Once there was some storage space, I looked up and saw Ashton walk outside carrying an empty box of Kraft Blue Box Mac and Cheese. It was from my care package from Mom weeks and weeks back, but I brought it up to Cape Cod in case the boys were picky with the other food. It was lunchtime so I decided to go in and join the family.

When I got inside, a pot of Mac and Cheese was on the stove and Ashton and Barrett were gobbling into their bowls of it. I made myself a small bowl and munched. It reminded me of home and it made me smile. Ahhhh....bright orange chemical cheese. My favorite! I also sucked down a Gogo Squeez Applesauce and that was lunch! Soon the adults were talking about going into Provincetown for the evening to walk around and then go out to dinner at an amazing restaurant called The Lobster Pot. (How I know it is amazing, I ate there last year!)

I was so excited that I ran up and got ready. I brushed my hair, put on my jewelry, and grabbed my purse. At Provincetown, there are a lot of cute shops to shop in and I wanted to have money just in case I found something cool! When I went back down, everyone was about ready to go too. Ant Astrid, Uncle Jon, and I took Ant Astrid's car and Chris, Kathleen, and the boys took Chris's truck. We were on our way!!!

The ride up was okay. There was some traffic and a wicked bad accident where this car got TOTALED. It was awful. Thankfully we we were just fine! Soon we drove into Provincetown where it was packed with people. For those who don't know, Provincetown is a very gay community with rainbow flags and drag queens! And anything goes up there. Just like Woodstock! You could be a drag queen on a power wheelchair zooming by advertising a show. It's all good! You could be a pack of bubble blowing, on stilts drag queens. It's all good! You can even put on a parody of Thoroughly Modern Millie called Thoroughly Muslim Millie at a community theatre. It's all good! ....albeit different.

I love Provincetown so much! It is so
much fun! The minute we all got there, we split up. The boys went off to do boy things and the ladies (Ant Astrid, Kathleen, and I) went walking around. We visited art galleries and walked around. We stopped in some shops that sold home, kitchen, and other stuff. My favorite part was stopping in the clothing stores. One store we stopped in was called Shop Therapy and it is a very hippie shop that sells very colorful, Ant Astrid type stuff. (Those who know her understand) But there are normal stuff too. I found this adorable black dress that was my size and only cost $5. OMG, who passes up a deal like that?! I decided to buy it. I can wear it to college parties and stuff like that! Plus, if my roomie needs to borrow an outfit, she is more than welcome to borrow that dress. (Wink wink Alison ;) )

After stopping in some jewelry stores, (which I took pictures of the ones I liked for my mom to replicate later) we decided to visit the guys who were at a bar. When we got there, we decided to buy some drinks. The adults got their adulty drinks and Ashton and I got Shirley Temples. We sipped our drinks as Captain Bob, Dawn, and Randy stopped by. They were going to dinner with us! We chatted for a bit before it was time to make our reservation at The Lobster Pot. We walked over and got seated immediately.

I took a look at the menu. EVERYTHING looked good!!!! Last year I had gotten a Veggie Wrap which was delicious, but I wanted to try something different. Immediately I nixed Fish and Chips, so it made my decision harder. EVERYTHING looked good!!!!!!!! Eventually after some careful consideration, I decided to have the Lobster Ravioli Alfredo. But let's start from the very beginning....

To drink, I had a Mango Lemonade Cooler which was super yummy. I love mangos and this cooler was full of it. I munched on some of the bread and crackers that was served first. There was also this pumpkin bread cake thing that is to die for! Then the appetizers came out. I ordered a lobster bisque and it was the best lobster bisque I had ever had. (Just like last year!) Forget the one I had at Stewart's, this was amazing. So creamy and smooth. Then dinner came. The minute I saw my meal, I had to take pictures of it. It looked amazing and you can see it in my photo collage! It was five panco-encrusted raviolis stuffed with lobster meat and drenched in Alfredo sauce on a bed of steamed vegetables. I was drooling. I started off by popping the vegetables in my mouth and once I ate them all, I dove into the ravioli. It was so good.....but I could only eat one. I was so full. Anymore food and I would burst. I was annoyed that I couldn't eat more of my ravioli, but hey! I could bring it home because it heats up nicely and have it tomorrow night! That perked me up again.

I got the meal wrapped up and I finished with mints. It was the most perfect dinner out I've had during this entire vacation! (Well PeekaMoose was pretty close...) Anyway, after the hefty bill was payed, we stood outside for a bit. Next to the restaurant was this shoe store that sold Ant Astrid's most favorite shoes, the Dansko. We looked through them and I found this gorgeous pair that had stars on them! STARS!!!!!!!! And it was my size! Soon a sales lady came over and told me there was only one pair left and Ant Astrid was really pushing how great they were. I was so conflicted! I love them....but holy crap is the price hefty! $130ish dollars! That would wipe all the money I made working for her! Thankfully Ant Astrid said that we would be coming back tomorrow and we'll come back, plus she could help with the money. Will I get the shoes?! Stay tuned!!!!

We said our goodbyes to Captain Bob, Dawn, and Randy and headed back to our cars. (Along the way I sang If You Were Gay from Avenue Q at the top of my lungs because why not?! It's Provincetown! And I was feeling a bit hyper...) We drove back to the house and when we got in, I went upstairs to try the dress on. The zipper is a nasty little bugger. It gets caught at the middle and you have to really work at getting it to pull up. Blasted poorly made zipper! Ant Astrid was able to get the zipper up though and guess what?! The dress fit! It is a bit short, but with some Spanks and high heels, it is a perfect dress! Hooray!!!!

Once the dress came off, I slipped into my pajamas and got ready for bed, so here we are!

Today was an awesome day! A nice afternoon chilling and then an awesome evening in Provincetown with an amazing dinner at The Lobster Pot! Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! And guess what?! I'm going back tomorrow!!!! Seriously! What fun shall I have then?! You'll have to wait and see! ;)

Pvt. Jorah P. Marxson
24th Devildog infantry squad. Clocktower Company (soviet employed)

1972, May 4th, 2100 hours

The rain pounded down through the dark onto the canvas cover of Jorahs truck, creating a relentless staccato that would have challenged the dexterity of even the fasted percussionist. The sound also reminded him of a group of firing machine guns, but Jorah decided not to pursue that train of thought. He instead took a quick glance around the interior of the truck. Sitting on the benches lining either side of the vehicles bed sat his comrades, each sporting the identical  soldier dress of the Clock Tower Private Military Company. Off white, round helmets that reminded Jorah of skateboarders headgear, a grey and dark green set of fatigues lined with pouches and pockets, as well as a matching backpack. Each soldier held a rifle between their legs, barrels pointing towards the canvas roof. Each man and woman in the truck sat hunched, staring at their feet. They might as well have been a set of 12 identical statues, aside from the last two occupants of the transports crew compartment. Each one took up the space of nearly three normal humans. They both exhibited wide shoulders and hunched backs, combined with their heavy, motor assisted armor, made them both appear as robotic apes. The two servo units sat at the back of the compartment, and visibly weighed the entire vehicle down. The pair, (because the elitist bastards refused to operate in anything but pairs, thought Jorah) had been "donated" by their soviet clients, along with 20 others as a "bonus", though Jorah never doubted the fact that those servo's, pinnacles of the soviets robotic and cybernetic research, would turn their massive weapons on the mercenaries at the first sign of a crack in moral. Technically, since world war 2, countries could not maintain military units of any kind, leaving it to mercenary companies and PMC's to do the fighting, so the donated servo's were labeled as "strategic assets" instead of actual troops, and Jorah had to agree. A servo wearing armor that stopped bullets, and toting massive heavy machine gun that spat ammunition back nearly twice as fast was most definitely an asset he was happy to exploit.
A particularly large pothole brought Jorah back to the present. After the truck had finished bouncing, he looked up and caught the eye of one of his squad mates, Donovan Mcnallery, a native Irishman. The red headed, bearded man was a handy pick in a fistfight, and a trustworthy fellow in combat, but was an ass the rest of the time. He gave a wicked smile and a quick nod towards the soldier sitting to Jorahs left, who he had probably been staring at in the first place. He gave a quick glance at the Irishman's focal point then shot a hard stare at Donovan who winked, shrugged and went back to fiddling with his rifle. The Irishman's focal point had been Perry Sandoval, one of the newest recruits in the squad, her Venezuelan upbringing showed in her soft features, long black hair, and her quiet tone. While relatively young, Perry had already distinguished herself as a exceptional marksman, and a designated sniper. She had yet to see combat though, and this worried Jorah. The only other members of the unit not fixated on their feet were the occupants of the jeep following close behind. It had no roof, so the rain assaulted the vehicles miserable, poncho clad operators mercilessly. The machine gunner was particularly exposed, and she gripped the guns handles rigidly as the wind and rain threatened to tear her from her perch. Noticing Jorahs attention, the gunner gave a half hearted wave. Jorah waved back.
The truck began spinning before Jorah could lower his hand.
It slid sideways, listing slightly towards the front right corner and throwing a up a wave of mud as well as tossing two passengers from the back, one of which was a servo. The jeep following behind, for its credit, attempted to swerve out of the way of the fallen passengers, but couldn't avoid the half ton bulk of the servo, and with a sickening thud and wrench of metal, they collided. The vehicle flipped up on two wheels and nearly overturned, it's momentum and weight bringing it back down just in time to smash into the truck with a crunch of crushed metal. Then, with a sputter of finality, the jeeps engine cut out.
Jorah's head had taken a nasty whack, but other than that he was fine. Most of the other soldiers had fared similarly, the exceptions being the unfazed servo that had stayed in the truck, who was looking out into the rain at a large shape rising from the mud. It was the second servo who, thought Jorah bitterly, was completely unharmed. The gunner was also picking herself up from the mud, but was favoring her right leg. The soldier who had been thrown from the truck was nowhere to be seen.
Commanding shouts to set up a perimeter shook the stunned soldiers into movement. They snapped into action, filing out of the truck and wading through the mud to a defensive position, rifles raised. As Jorahs boots sank into the muck of the roadway, he took a moment to survey his surroundings. On one side of the road a field of some sort of tall crop waved in the rain, and stretched out until Jorah could no longer see through the downpour. The scene of the opposite side of the road was unfortunately similar, the only difference being the silhouette of a farmhouse in the distance. There was sickeningly little cover to be seen, and the waving crops made detecting an enemy in them nearly impossible. Jorah scanned with his rifle, and tried his best to look professional as he moved to the small depression on the side of the road that barely constituted a ditch, yet was full of water. He was about to step into his impromptu trench, then decided that he would do so if the need arose, and kneeled down beside it instead, rifle still raised. To his right, the two servos held a short conversation in Russian, then, with heavy steps that sunk deeply into the mud, they slowly made their way to the fore of the truck. Once they left, Jorah could hear the unit commander and a soldier discussing the reason of their rapid disembark.
"-completely shot. Left tires shredded, and the entire wheel on the right is gone, probably left it back there a few yards." Explained the soldier. "I'm thinking some kind of anti material rifle."
"Rain probably masked the shot. That and the engine..." The Commander responded. "Ok. So the truck is FUBAR. What about the jeep?"
"Haven't had a good look at it sir, as far as I can tell it's just engine troubles. It might be fixable, but no promises." Jorah could almost hear the commanders slow nod.
"Alright. Get on that and be sure to let me know what you find." Then he addressed the squad. "Alright men, we're hunkering down here until we figure out this mess. Keep your heads down, unknown number of hostiles. Servos! Get your steel asses back in the truck. We have an anti-material rifle out there somewhere, and you are a half ton of material." The servos said something in Russian and moved off. "Marxson!" Jorah cringed. "Thinking about being in that ditch isn't going to stop a bullet!" With a sigh, Jorah stepped into the ditch. It was deeper than he thought, and he stumbled, barely keeping his rifle out of the water as he caught himself. The frigid water quickly flowed down into his boots, and Jorah gave an involuntary shiver. Suddenly something struck him between the shoulder blades, and he went sprawling, water splashing everywhere. Somebody landed next to him.
"Saved your life." Grinned the Irishman. Jorah nearly shot him.
"There's hostiles out there, one of which has an anti material rifle, I'm waist deep in freezing water, it's is not a good time to be joking with me Donovan." Growled Jorah.
"Friend." Muttered the Irishman with a wicked smile. "Any times a good time to joke with-..." Donovan trailed off. The reason soon became clear to Jorah. Drifting over the pounding rain, came something odd. It took a moment for him to realize the sound was singing. It seemed to be from a Young girl, without instruments. The tune was a simple, eerie rising and falling "la". It was being piped from somewhere, and was echoing over the fields. And as Jorah soon learned from word of mouth, it was also being broadcasted over all local radio channels, effectively crippling short range radio communication.
Nothing happened for the next few minutes. Eventually with a sputtering roar that drowned out the eerie singing for a moment, the jeep's engine started. Its crew quickly remanned it, minus the gunner who was replaced by an all to happy soldier. The unit commander shouted something at the driver, probably to head to the next base for help, who saluted and sped off in a shower of mud. Jorah watched the jeep as it raced down the melting road. It had gone maybe 400 meters when something punched into the side of the vehicles body, creating a fist sized hole in its entry point, and blowing half the jeeps inner workings, along with its left wheel out the other side. The mortally wounded machine slid to one side before something caught on the road and sent the jeep into a full on tumble, throwing its passengers. The mass of crumpled steel rolled twice then exploded spectacularly, incinerating the driver and catching the motionless navigator and wounded gunner alight. The singing and the rain drowned out his screams.
"That was a rail gun!" The commander shouted. "It's closer now! Stay alert!"
The singing continued.
Donovan, on his part, now that men had died was dead serious. He gripped his rifle tight and held it up to his shoulder, scanning. Jorah did his best to do the same.
Gunfire opened up somewhere down the line, and he jumped.
"Don't get jittery on me now Marxson." Muttered Donovan.
The gunfire was closer now, the rattling percussion of rifles overpowering both the rain and the singing. Jorah could dimly hear cries of "danger close" followed by screams. Slowly Donovan reached down and grabbed his rifles bayonet, attaching it to the firearms barrel. Jorah followed suite, and recognizing the value of such an action, the soldier to his left did the same. Another moment passed before anything happened, then, with a percussive pop, the mercenary to Jorahs left's head snapped back, and he tumbled back into the flooded ditch. Jorah snapped a burst of fire towards the pops origin, then dove down, dodging by centimeters a duo of bullets that slammed into the mud behind him. Donovan blind fired a spray of bullets over the ditches edge and was rewarded with an eerie scream and the shuffle of something crushing plants in its fall. Jorah steeled himself, then popped over the ledge. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a flicker of movement, and he swung his rifle towards it, squeezing the trigger. A keening wail echoed from the field, a flicker of blue light, and the movement stopped. Without taking time to contemplate the odd phenomenon, Jorah ducked back down. He was about to peek again when a buzzing roar tore through the air, drowning out both the singing and the rain. One of the servo's had opened up with his heavy machine gun, the flood of bullets tearing into the mass of plants, ripping the crops to pieces. The massive soldier swept the row of crops twice, then lowered the steaming barrel of his weapon.
The singing continued. The gunfire did not.
"They're falling back!" Yelled the commander "Push to that farmhouse! We'll regroup there!"
Jorah wasn't sure wether the commanders plan was madness or actually sufficient, and settled on average as he pushed out of the water and into the shredded edge of the field. A few steps in he ran into his first enemy. Out of reflex, he blasted a half dozen shots into its head, which vanished in a puff of ash. It's body did not move. Confused, Jorah unclipped the flashlight from his belt to examine the anomaly.
The enemies body was like a statue of grainy ash, and looked to be in the process of falling to its knees when it froze. Two massive divots in its chest gave Jorah the cause of death. He had heard of a similar phenomenon in Hiroshima after the bombs fell, the heat rendered the bodies of victims to ash statues. But what could have done that in such an isolated area? Swinging his flashlight around, Jorah found another corpse. It had frozen in the process of stumbling backwards, one hand clutching its throat, the other splayed out to one side, desperately holding onto its snub-nosed rifle. Finding no other statues, Jorah turned off his flashlight and moved on.
A few moments later, he found a group 5 soldiers clustered around another ash corpse. Perry was among them but was off to one side, holding her practically useless marksman rifle nervously. As Jorah approached, one of the soldiers popped up his head and raised his rifle, before lowering it and motioning Jorah over.
"Dude, have you seen this thing?" Jorah walked over. The corpse had frozen the process of convulsing painfully, it's only wound was a bullethole in its left thigh, certainly not lethal.
"There's two more back there." Responded Jorah.
"I don't know what the hell is going on. What are we fighting?"
Jorah shook his head.
What happened next happened fast. One of the soldiers looked up from the disintegrating ash-corpse, Jorah assumed he heard something and looked to him. That soldier was struck in the head with enough force to shatter bone. His corpse slammed into one of his comrades and bounced off into the field. His comrade cradled his fractured arm as he fell, and a descending foot caved in his chest cavity. The remaining four mercenaries jumped to their feet, yelling in alarm. One crumpled to the ground gasping from a crushed windpipe before he had gotten halfway there. The assailant appeared in the remaining 3's flashlight beams, if only for a second. It was another of the mystery ash soldiers, but not yet ash. It was covered in a myriad of armored plaits that bent gracefully as it moved. Two vertical rows of blue light lined the front of its helmet. As soon as Jorah saw the thing, it was gone. Jorah struggled to keep his light on it. With a bound, the thing pinwheeled passed Jonah, knocking him back, then slammed into perry, pounding her into the ground with one fist. As it raised its other fist Jorah let out an animalistic yell and ran at it, slamming his rifle stock across its faceplate. The enemy fell to its back, and Jorah fell on top of it, attempting to use his momentum to slam his weapon back at his combatants face. The enemy soldier freed one of its hands and coughs the descending rifle, and proceeded to snap the stock off with a snap of steel and plastic. Jorah stared at the broken weapon in bewilderment. His enemy the smashed the broken chunk across his face, and Jorah felt something break. He tumbled to the side, barely escaping the flurry of bullets fired by his comrade, of which the enemy dodged all. With inhuman fluidity the soldier moved from its back running, picking up Jorahs discarded weapon without breaking stride and emptying a half dozen rounds into his comrades chest. Then it brought the weapon up, angling the bayonet towards the prone, wounded Jorah. With two sharp percussions, the rifle clattered to the ground as the enemy stumbled. It twisted, and began wailing mournfully and painfully. Its footsteps, so fluid and graceful before now came in fitful and uncertain starts. As it turned to see what had wounded it, Jorah saw the two, rigid holes in its back, a strange blue fire licking their edges. The enemy fell to one knee, then two as it thrashed and convulsed, arms reaching desperately for the two breaches in its back as its wailing grew louder and more erratic. Then, with an air of finality it crashed to the ground, and with a flash of blue, was rendered to ash. It took a moment of staring at the corpse, which was slowly disintegrating in the rain, for Jorah to realize the singing had stopped. He picked himself up, blood running from his mouth. His footing was unstable and his head hurt, but he figured he would be able to walk. Th only other living person in the clearing of now-flattened stalks was Perry, her marksman rifle still raised, blood running from her nose down her still shocked face.
"The singing stopped, I think they are actually pulling back this time." Perry didn't say anything. Jorah tried to give a weak smile, though it felt fake and ugly to him. "I hope I don't look as bad as I feel." After again receiving no answer, "come on. The others are probably at the-"
"Did you see the flag?"
"The flag on their uniforms."
"I- no. I don't think they had one." Perry nodded.
"They did. I-I think. On there left shoulder. It burns off when You know."
"Did you see it?"
"I think so."
"What was it?"

"Rabbi, if you must fight, you must convince your... Superiors hire mercenary companies! As a representative of the UN you must realize that I have the power to-"
Ajdin watched with pride as his aging rabbi held up a hand.
"What place does the most high God have in the UN?" The representatives face screwed up in anger and confusion.
"...does not."finished the rabbi. "Now if you will please exit my temple."
"Sir please, in order to be part of the future the United States is building you must." The rabbi stood up. Ajdin could feel the tension building between the two.
"If we must continue to fight without the blessing of the United States, so be it. God provides. You, on the other hand, as well as your 'UN' do not. You enter my temple without showing me proper respect, nor respect for our customs or even the most holy God Himself. Now leave." The representative stood for a moment, red faced and fuming. He opened his mouth and closed it. Then he repeated the action. Ajdin thought he looked an awful lot like a gasping fish. Despite this, the man did not move. After a moment, the Rabbi gave a silent nod to Ajdin and his fellow guard. Ajdin grinned and hefted his Russian made AK. He began to move towards the representative, who threw worried glances between the two and took a step back.
"Our Teacher asked you nicely to leave sir." Said Ajdin in his best English. This caught the man off guard, which was taken advantage of as the other guard shoved the man with his AK. The representative stumbled, straightened his suit, and began walking towards the exit. The two guards escorted him to the door, where the two, American, desert poncho clad soldiers escorted the rest of the way to his car. A moment of tension came as the two parties met, and Ajdin noted that under the shade of the ponchos hood, the Americans head didn't appear to have the correct proportions. Then the moment passed and the soldiers and representative walked towards the waiting car, which waited in the burning dust of the street. The soldiers boarded a covered truck behind it. With a rumble the two vehicles left, scattering a group of pedestrians as they left. Ajdin and his companion reentered the building.
