Torn PagesTorn Pages3 years ago in Team Dragon More Like This
I wanted to see the rain again
I wanted to see your smiling face
But all that I could see
Were these torn pages
I'm not saying that it wasn't fun
That the adventure wasn't worth it
That spark in your eyes
I'll never forget it
But time past
Things and people change
So maybe it's time to move on
Your name is smeared on the pages
Embedded like a scar
Those pages are my skin
My diary of my life
I can't get rid of those memories
It's like a record playing in my mind
And whenever I think of something
It reminds me of you
so I regret all those things
These torn pages
I hope that we can both
Meld them back together again
The Dragons of AirenaThe Dragons of Airena3 years ago in Team Dragon More Like This
The Dragons of Airena
Upon a Mountain; atop soft snow,
Sit the dragons, eyes aglow.
Silver blue scales in a row,
Pale wispy hair that doth flow.
They take flight into the sky.
Strong legs power them through the air,
no-one seeing they are there,
Swooping low if they dare.
The Guardians of Airena.
The gentle hills streaking past
in a countryside so vast,
The village comes in view at last;
The people working there so fast.
Dragons above them in the sky.
The sun sparkles off their heads
lighting up the world in reds,
Not a shadow in their stead,
passing over fair Airena.
Beads of light peek at noon,
The day passing all too soon.
Underneath a dazzling moon
they begin their ancient tune,
carried throughout the sky.
Elders speak of tales untold
and of knights who triumphed bold,
The stories are not let grow old;
The stories of Airena.
If a foe attempts to fight,
They protect with all their might,
Only doing what is right,
Saving deep into the night...
Defenders of the sky.

Exactly what kind of dragon am I?The brown dragon looked upon the waterExactly what kind of dragon am I?3 years ago in Team Dragon More Like This
And his mirror brother looked up to him;
"Tell me my brother," the brown dragon said,
"Exactly what kind of dragon am I?"
The brown dragon of the water smiled back
And after a pause of thought he answered;
"Brother, you are a valiant dragon,
With courage that inpires the fearful.
You have a fire burning in your heart
As hot as the flame of your dragon's breath.
There is nothing you cannot accomplish,
With your enthusiasm and passion."
The brown dragon was taken aback and
With confusion he asked his reflection,
"Surely you jest, brother of the water?
I am no knight or hero, my brother;
I look at myself and see only fear,
The trembling fool afraid of the unknown;
I think of tomorrow and I panic
For the dawn could bring me failure, brother."
The dragon paced along the water's edge
As thoughts of doubt and fear raced through his mind;
Every day he feared that he would fail and
Lose everything that he held so dearly.
Burning FireOn the mountain topBurning Fire3 years ago in Team Dragon More Like This
Stood the mighty Red Dragon
Its wings spreading out
Its fire burning in its stomach,fighting to break out.
Whit a mighty roar the dragon leapt
Its tail was straight, its head was pointed down
As it dived down the mountain side
It folded out its wings
And whit a great twist
It flew, casting long shadows over the creatures below it.
The dragon was the king of the sky
As the fish was the king of the sea.
It was the guardian
And it was the destructor
As its flames burned all it touched
The Plight of the (Zodiac) DragonStanding in the center of a huge crowdThe Plight of the (Zodiac) Dragon3 years ago in Team Dragon More Like This
The Dragon has never been more alone
These people look up to her, admire her
But not one understands the lone Dragon
On the inside, Dragon is struggling -
Even the very strongest will fall down
Sometimes even the bravest need to cry
No one is utterly unbreakable
She is the leader of these animals
At the top, she just has farther to fall
And she has no equal to steady her
To keep her from falling or breaking down
The problem with leadership is simple:
The poor Dragon has no one to follow
When she is hurting, lost or frightened
(Deep down, she's as scared as ev'ryone else)
The others follow her, depend on her
They trust her - how can she let them all down
The Dragon struggles with herself as well
Her pride won't let her admit she can't cope
She bravely decides to just keep going
And helps her followers when they need it
But the one who most needs a helping hand
Before her wings fail...
is Dragon herself.
