I don't care when a celebrity diesI don't care when celebrities diesI don't care when a celebrity dies4 years ago in Free Verse
Why should I care that Whitney Houston dies?
Or Michael Jackson?
Sure they have made great music
I have never met them
They didn't die for a good cause
And they wouldn't care if I died tomorrow
So why should I care?
What about the hundred of soldiers dying for our country?
What about the starving children in Africa?
I would rather take a day of silence for them than hear about a celebrity's death.
I am not heartless
I just don't see the point
In caring of the death of someone society deemed 'important'
I will cry when a family member dies
Or when someone takes their own life
Or when a child dies
I won't cry when a celebrity dies
And I never will.
Society puts too much
On what they think is important
I just stopped caring.

Pops was drinking tea with an unfamiliar little girl with black pigtails, a gray and white baby doll dress and shiny black dress shoes. Benson kept his eye on her as he approached the two and asked Pops sweetly, "Pops! Whose your new friend?"
Pops took a breath but laughed out, "Benson! Benson my good man, I must introduce you to Adeline!"
"Greetings Mr. Benson," the girl revealed t

The soldier swallowed and began to get nervous.I Will Always Love You (Steve x Deaf!Reader)2 years ago in Humor
Steve had fallen for the (h/c) beauty when he first met her. He had fallen hard. He loved everything about (Name) (Last Name). Her (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c). H loved the way she would sing when she thought no one was watching and the way she fought in the battle when Loki tried to take, over the world. She was just so amazing.
When Steve had gone to Tony for girl advice, Tony had just told him to ask her out. Now, Steve was on a mission to get her to say yes to dinner. But seeing (Name) sitting there with (h/c) in a mess and her (e/c) scanning the pages of her book, Steve got nervous. He'd never really asked a girl on a date. He'd never even been on a date. He had no idea what to say, but he walked over to her trying to build up his courage.
“Uh... hey (Name),” he sai
