Princess Zelda lay awake in her bed as the minutes ticked by. Her tired eyes wandered over the blackness of her room as she allowed herself to close her eyes to sleep once more.
Zelda had been restless ever since she had heard of the various maiden disappearances that had occurred during last week, making her fear that she was being targeted as well as the rest of the unknowing maidens.
It couldn't be Vaati now could it? Surely the Wind mage was trapped in a strong prison that had a strong seal on it. Zelda shuddered, thinking about Vaati was the last thing that she ever wanted to think about.
Ever since Link had sealed the Mage, she had become rather different, like something about her seemed off. Though, Link had tried to make his advances on her to make her his wife, and though Zelda would have loved to marry Link, but something seemed to be making her mind a confused mess.

Princess Zelda awoke to hearing someone in her room. Impa was setting down a tray of tea for Zelda and herself. Zelda tiredly looked in front of herself, wondering if that ordeal with the Wind Mage was just another one of her dreams, maybe Vaati was still sealed. Who knows?
"Good morning princess, big day today, I suggest you start making your way to the dining hall." Impa's voice halted Zelda's thoughts. She nodded and sent her maid away. Before Impa left, she briefly looked back with concern present on her face.
Zelda sat up and reached for the already full cup of tea, sipping at it slowly. 'Vaati.. are you there?' Zelda thought to herself, almost sure that she could still feel his presence.
No response. Zelda sighed and started to wash up.
Zelda made her way out of her room and into the grand hall. Her blue eyes peered in every direction, almost believing that she saw Vaati casually walking.
