You had moved here five years ago and brought your love of gardening, especially tulips, with you. Soon you discovered, however, that you were only second best to him.
"Goedemorgen, (Name)," an annoyingly kind voice called. You turned to find your cute Dutch neighbor out watering his lawn this morning too. His blond hair deifying gravity and slightly ruffled from sleep. You blushed at how amazing he looked even this early in the morning.
"Good morning, Abel," you said through gritted teeth. His tulips just had to be better than yours, didn't they. Just once you would like to beat him in the upcoming Prettiest Lawn contest that was coming up. You had never beaten him, you looked over at his lawn. It just looked so perfect, like him sometimes.
