I had to do it... I had to! If I hadn't the kingdom would fall... I had to do it. I'm so sorry... Guardian of mine--now exiled as well. You too, I'm sorry... If only I had known... If only I had known it was a trap... If only I knew... I had to do it... Forgive what misfortune i've caused you... And your family... they will probably never live the same way ever again... I'm sorry... I had to... I had to do it... I

things to say, nothing to do
and there in the summer air is
when i had the strong urge to just
find you, and meet you.
though you're within my reach
it often feels as though we're
years apart, days away, though
i saw you there and fell in love
with those gorgeous eyes, the
neutral pose, the steady rhythm
of your beating heart.
summer it came, and the coldness
approached and the changing began
painful as before, more bearable than
before, and then i had vanished, a
longing look left in your eyes though
i was there the entire time.

gone from my wandering mind,
the scents, sights, sounds
once you've turned, there's no

that you can't control, and the fever

And once upon a time I knew three -
Goodbye, Adios, 再見 -
When saying goodbye was so easy.
We would always see each other again.
But there's more types of goodbyes.
When we graduate,
"Good luck" becomes something we say
When we don't want to admit it would be awhile
Before we see each other again.
There are people who write letters to you,
So they don't have to say it out loud.
It all comes down to unwillingness, I guess;
Or some people wouldn't have just slipped out of you life
Without saying anything.
There; that is another way to say goodbye.
And sometimes we way "See you later" instead,
Even when we know there will be no next time.
But that's not the most painful way to say goodbye.

wait and linger
before disappearing into the dark.
I know these names,
their human faces, their stories.
They were once my family.
They’re all lost,
hidden behind fur coats and dirty paws.
Now, I wait for her,
when I am not one of them, not anymore,
where I am
I look for her,
now at winter’s mercy,
with those loving eyes
appearing through the trees.
Waiting is the only thing I can do,
alone on this other side of the mirror,
in this life
that should have been ours,
while clinging to hope
like it’s the only thing I have left.
