And you are awoke by your bro as he franticly but gently shakes you and repeats ''Get up little man, we got to go now!''
You blink at him for a moment, thinking this is just another one of your bro's ironic jokes, but you notice he actually looks a bit worried even with his shades on.
You look at you clock and notice it's currently 3:27am ''what the fuck bro?'' you say and look back at him.
He starts to say something but something else ketches your attention as red and white speed past your window, followed by a loud explosion, smoke, debree, and what felt like a mini earthquake.
You find yourself cursing everything under the sun as the building shakes and your bro covers you with him-self to protect you from anything that may fall.
When the building finally stops, your brother lets go of you and jumps off your bed ''let's go little man, now!'' he shouts as he runs out your bedroom door and into his.
You hear metal clanking in the next room and you wonder what

The world around you is slowly disappearing.
The nuclear explosion, it was huge, but it happened so long ago...
Why was it ruining you now? How could it be?
You were almost hyperventilating, trying to keep yourself from breathing in the fumes.
“[Name], calm down...” Sollux muttered to you, even though he was breathing the same way. He put an arm around you as the two of you sat under a tree, at least attempting to regain the breath you lost.
You swallowed hard, trying to bring your brain to construct a sentence. “I-I can’t... what’re we going to do...?” Your words came out sort of jumbled, but you just couldn’t help it. You couldn’t think. Everything was happening all at once. One moment, you were taking pictures with Sollux being a usual tourist, and in the next moment, some sort of infected beings were chasing after you, threatening your life.
“I don’t know yet, but we’ll figure somethin
Unfair [DirkXReaderXDave:Sadstuck]It all started so well… You had met him through the internet, after requesting if you could have a personal design of a smuppet. He had loved the idea you sent in, and it was much to your surprise that he’d showed up at your door to discuss your proposal, to see if you’d had anything else he could turn into a new line of them. The two of you hit it off instantly—of course you did: you, the shy, stubborn, and compassionate woman, him the upbeat, creative, and lonely man. He introduced you to his lifestyle, to his brother, and saved you from the downward spiral your life had been headed before you even realized what had happened… It was a modern day fairytale, really, something you’d always wanted to believe in but were too afraid would crush your hopes if given the chance. He persuaded you to stay with him and his brother, and life was everything you’d ever wanted it to be. And it wasn’t long after you’d met him in person that DirkUnfair [DirkXReaderXDave:Sadstuck]2 years ago in Drama More Like This

I lived in a world of black & white.
It was simple, really. Too simple for my tastes. Everything looked the same, nothing stood out to me. It was all just a bunch of grays, but I couldn't help it. I didn't know of anything else.
I heard that with love comes color. Color. I didn't know what that was, and neither did anyone else who wasn't in love. When you met your soulmate, they'd say, you would see color. Blues, Reds, Yellows, everything in between. I didn't know what that meant. Have you ever tried to describe Red to someone? It's difficult, just as much for you as it is the lovers trying to tell me that my shirts are always orange. I just think that particular shade of gray is more appealing than the others.
Color was an abstract concept, one I had no idea of. They'd say it's the color of this, or it's the same hue as that. What, gray? Gray, gray gray. It was all gray
