[E] Reaching the lakeArcher stretched as he awoke, sitting up slowly as the morning sun shone on his face. He blinked his eyes a few times slowly, wondering what had woke him as he stared into the sun, confused as to why it was so bright out. He suddenly remembered that he was out camping with a group of handlers and sighed, flopping back down onto his sleeping bag. His movements woke Zaleena, who rolled on her side into Fawkes. The sleepy male let a loud growl escape from his mouth and soon, all of the tokotas were awake, having been bumped by one of their counterparts rolling around as they woke up. Archer tried to get back to sleep, but the shuffling noises of the tokotas and whines weren’t helping his cause, so he finally sat up and a few tokotas trotted over to him, covering him in licks as they whined for food. “Yeah, okay, I’m getting it.” He said sleepily, trying to push their muzzles away from his head. Today was the day Greg had dreamed about since receiving his letter inviting him to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He wa
[E] Joining the campArcher tried to direct Akeri’s head towards the mountainside they were going to meet up with the rest of the group, but the sphynx seemed to have other ideas and fought Archer for the reins. Syn chuckled and moved Zaleena to the side a bit, giving Akeri some space. Archer hadn’t allowed Akeri to burn off enough energy this morning it seemed, and she was over eager to go for a run. “Do you mind if we let her tire herself out a bit?” He asked Syn, who nodded with a smirk. Archer loosened the reins a fraction, and Akeri was off, charging through the grasses with Zaleena close behind her. Archer guided Akeri in a large circle near the base of the mountainside, letting her run herself out a bit so she would be more focused on the task ahead. The group of tokotas and handlers would be going on a bit of a camping trip for the purpose of enjoying the area and poking around to see if they could find some new good hunting or fishing grounds.
