Fenris raced out of the rather large house he was taken to during his recovery and out onto the dirt street. People were running by frantically. In the distance he could see smoke from the other end of the village and knew that’s where the bandits were and where he would find Soulstone. He weaved in and out by people as they ran by and made his way through a back alley to try and get an advantage on the situation. He slowed down and began to sneak behind some houses as the crowd thinned and he could hear people talking, one such person was Soulstone. The smell of smoke and flame was ever present now. He peeked out from behind one house and took in the situation.
Soulstone was standing alone in front of about ten to fifteen men with one mounted on horseback. They were all dirty and rough looking. Wearing scuffed and dirty light armor and had a various assortment of weaponry, mostly swords. Some carried torches to burn the houses, which some had already done. The one on horse

I have the first two chapters of Stigande up for everyone to see. Please go take a look. I'm happy that this thing is finally moving. I'm writing this story out because writing doesn't take as much time as it would be to draw it all out and perhaps one day when I have enough written I will attempt to draw it out because my dialogue and story boards are basically done for me lol.
Also, I'm planning a contest for Stigande very soon so be aware of that.
Thanks to all of my patient friends. I'm still here, don't worry. I know I've been inactive for a while.

Fenris opened his eyes and squinted. Rays of warm sunlight poured through an open window. He could hear birds chirping outside as a warm breeze blew in the window. Slowly turning his head his eyes got wider as he noticed and soon realized he was in a room not on the ground where he landed. The room was small and didn’t hold much. There was a wardrobe cabinet and a night stand beside the bed and not much else. He assumed he had wound up in Midgard, the realm of humanity and the battle ground of many conflicts of men and monster; protected by the Aesir.
Fenris sat up and immediately noticed that he was naked under the sheets. This made him make a noise of distress in surprise. He also noticed that someone had patched up his wounds. Bandages around his back where the arrow had hit him. The arrow! That’s right. Fenris immediately reach around to touch the spot where the arrow had hit him and sure enough the spot was healed and the arrow head removed.

The white snow glowed under the moonlight as it crunched under Fenris feet as he moved. He was running; running for his life. How did it come to this moment? How did this become the moment he decided to finally take action after all he had witnessed? The freezing winter air here in Jotunheim would kill any normal mortal being that stayed here too long yet it felt normal to Fenris. Except for now. It was biting at his lungs. Sharp pains came with every gasp. He was growing tired by the second. The muscles in his legs ached. They felt on fire but his mind kept yelling at him to run. Run. Don’t stop running.
Fenris stopped though to catch his breath which could easily be seen in the cold night air. Several beads of sweat ran down from his brow to fall on the fresh snow. It had begun to snow again but that was an understatement in Jotunheim; it always snowed. Stopping might have been a bad idea, his whole body felt like it was ready to quit. Everything bur
