Tom sent Claire a grin. She smiled back, though hers was a good deal more uneasy. They’d been friends for many years, and though they’d never really gone beyond that, Tom had been able to drag her into more than a few harebrained schemes. Claire had no idea where this one would end up on the list, but it’d probably be pretty high.
Tom had called her over to help him out with ‘business’. Apparently he’d done voice acting for a game and would be going on tour. He said he needed a mascot for it, and she agreed without realizing what was in store for her. She’d assumed it would be a simple bit of cosplay, but one look at the game’s cover dispelled all of those illusions.
“Kawaii Kimono Snake Slasher?” She read the name flatly, looking again at the box art. The main character looked to be a man with the lower body of a snake. He looked to be in the
Metroid: HoU: The Naga Upgrade"The Naga upgrade." Samus selected from the list. She had deleted all traces of the last upgrade from the system, with what it had done to her, and what it had caused her to think. The only reason she wasn't off causing trouble was because she had tried to get into her suit, which had automatically reset the "upgrade", thankfully. Now, it was back to trying out regular upgrades. She took the chip and inserted it into her zero suit, and waited for the changes to begin.Metroid: HoU: The Naga Upgrade4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters
Samus felt her legs being pulled together, and looked down to see her the legs of her suit forming one sleeve, and pulling her legs together in the process. She stumbled over to a wall to support herself, and struggled to maintain her balance as the changes continued. After the legs had become one, her shoes disappeared, the end merging into a pointed kind of tail, the front a shade of yellow, while the sides and back were the same blue as her zero suit.
Samus began to feel a curious sensation in her legs, as it became le

It had been a very trying semester for the SOS Brigade. The root of the problem was Haruhi, but the root of the problem was always Haruhi, so that was news to no-one. What was triggering Haruhi this time around was the elective course she was taking that semester: Disney Film Appreciation. In the hands of someone like her, the wonderful, imaginative world of Disney was more dangerous than if she had been handed weapons-grade plutonium. She had proven how dangerous it was after watching the very first movie, the Jungle Book, forcing Kyon to confront Shere Khan the tiger

There were all kinds of them, in the room I woke up in, kept in cages, hissing, slithering, watching me with their cool eyes, both dark and monochrome and bright and slit-pupiled, their tongues flickering in and out of their mouths. I’ve always been the kind of girl who likes the little devils, but the effect was creepy.
It seemed like something out of a villain’s lair, more than the reptile room at the zoo. Considering where I was, that was honestly probably the effect they were going for. It wasn’t until after I noticed the snakes that I realized I couldn’t move.
I could move my head, look around a little, but my arms and legs were completely restrained, and as I looked downwards, I realized it was because they were strapped, no, more like manacled, with iron bands to the chair I was sitting on, kind of like one of those chairs they make you sit in when they take your blood, but

The Jungle Charm
Amber Dumas stared at the wide object she had fought so much for; cannibals, wild beasts, deadly traps, all leading up to this moment. Was it worth it? Of course it was. Now, sitting on the old stone pedestal of a god long forgotten, was her prize – a beautiful ruby, lined with gold and no bigger than an acorn – something so small, yet so valuable. Amber's heart caught in her throat from the excitement. This would teach those fools back at the university not to make fun of her.
Amber reached out and wrapped her dainty fingers around the ruby. She gasped. It was so warm! The only explanation she could think of was heat rising from an underground river of lava, but the ruby was the only thing at that temperature. The rest of the room was quite moderate. Well, she had no time to worry about that now. Her guide was waiting outside the temple for her. Without another fault, Amber snatched the ruby and stuffed it into her blouse pocket.
Scooby-Doo: Daphne SnakeIt was a rare quiet time for the gang, and for once the Mystery Machine wasn't being used to drive Mystery Inc. around finding mysterious and supernatural hoaxes. Instead, it had brought the gang to the Coolsville Mall to buy supplies. This mostly consisted of Velma heading for the book store, Scooby and Shaggy heading for the grocery store, and Freddie and Daphne simply wandering around. Daphne had been glancing over a cosmetics stall when the owner spoke to her.Scooby-Doo: Daphne Snake6 years ago in Fan Fiction
"I can't help but notice you have wonderful skin, my dear." The woman said. She was a middle-aged woman with black hair tied in a bun.
"Thank you..." Daphne said, somewhat taken aback by this compliment.
The woman and Daphne had a short conversation, the owner asking about Daphne's preferred mosturiser. Daphne could see it was being steered towards trying to sell her something, but if it was a decent product...
"I wonder if I can convince you to try our latest product... It's a new skin lotion. Fabricant de Serpents. It uses
New Life, New Naga PrologueHave you ever heard of a creature call Naga? It’s a large snake with arms like that of a human being. Some have the head of a cobra; others have a head of a python. They can be 15 to 20 feet long from head to tail. The ones with a cobra head are venomous while other kinds are not. Their scales are extremely tough; even bullets can hardly penetrate them. They are also extremely strong; strong enough to kill three people with one squeeze of their coils. Some people believe they are just monsters. Evil creatures that just want to come out to swallow people whole. I don’t believe that all of them are like that. How do I know? I am one. This is the story on how I became a Naga and now live as one.New Life, New Naga Prologue2 years ago in Settings

"It's here, it's here, it's finally here," Cindy giggled gleefully as she bounded through the front door carrying a small package.
"What's here?" Robin asked as she looked up from the book she was reading on the sofa.
"Only the coolest thing ever," Cindy replied proudly as she put the package down on the table and began to tear the paper from the package.
Her curiosity aroused, Robin put down her book and moved to stand next to her friend to see what could be in the mysterious package.
With a flourish, Cindy opened the box and removed a small golden medallion on a braided gold chain. The medallion sparkled as Cindy held it up to the light. The medallion was covered with strange symbols and had a pale blue gem imbedded in the center.
"Behold, the medallion of Circe," Cindy proclaimed proudly.
"It's beautiful," Robin gasped as she admired her friend's new jewelry. "Why is it called the medallion of Circe?"
"Because it was owned by Circe

Regina's Tale“Linda? Are you there?” asked Regina as she knocked on Linda’s front door. Linda lived alone, with her many cats, in a one bedroom house in a middle class neighborhood in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Regina knocked on the door again.Regina's Tale2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters
“Would you just chill out Regina. It’s the middle of the night and she just probably just is freaking out on the drugs that you sold her today. That’s all,” Tony said nonchalantly as he walked up behind Regina.
“Oh shush! She sounded deliria’s on the phone. Oh, I hope she is ok,” said Regina.
“She’s fine,” said Tony, rolling his eyes.
Knocking again, with no answer, Regina tried the door knob. Finding it unlock she opened the door slowly and stuck her head in. “Anyone home?” shouted Regina. With no response she walked into the dark house, with Tony right behind.
“Hello,’ called out Regina as she w
